I had said I liked the idea of block subsidy, to pay for development. If it would work but,
@ $0.49 even the boss, Beyondtext, has explained the project cannot fund itself.

The dev subsidy wallet (DHG) starts this project EMPTY.
The founders wallet starts this project OVER FULL, and therefore earns more in PoS (private profit) than DHG earn in block subsidy (to pay the devs)
Is that right?

decred needs to be minimum $1 to fund itself. (Beyondtext)
Then Founders, (c0) get $10,000 per week just from PoS awards.  Happy days.

This project cannot support devs AND the founders massive demands.
I hope no devs expect to actually get paid to work on this. Maybe 1 inhouse btcsuite dev?

The airdrop process seems really transparent and well done so far. I only wish there was a way to verify if the wallet creation / submission went well ie. which address they have memorized for the airdrop. My obsessive personality is always worried something went wrong and they didn't register my wallet address. I think all went well and I created it, wrote down the key, and put in the address (submitted), but it's always nice to see / verify that the server saved/assigned the address correctly.

First of all i'd like to thank you all for letting know your interest in this new project. This means a lot to me and for my fellow collaborators going to team up with BTCU.

Many news, specs, timelines are coming between today and tomorrow.

As you could see in the thread title i was thinking to start the journey of BitcoinUltra with some crowdfunding stage, to enhanche and boost the start up of this cryptocurrency.
I know that too many (really!) times ICO and similar are used just to "steal" money from end users and usually we saw too many "scam devs" run away just after they could had cashed out the crowdfunded BTCs.
Unfortunately newbie (and less) users keep trusting untrusted sources in the internet, and the natural consequence is what we see: a complete (or almost) loss. I can understand that for those who got already burnt with icos and similar this request could make them change their way out of BTCU. I just please you to keep reading.

Why should you trust investing in my project then?
Who guarantees you that will not behave exactly like those so called scam devs?

Actually nobody can.
But, if you're still interested to jump onboard, you can check yourself my trust feedbacks, almost all greens (apart some fudders and haters attacks but you know this is how bctc works).
Also many of you already knows me personally cause of the many jobs i got hired for around the cryptocurrencies net, such ocminer and others, and many respectable users can guarantee my professionality and skills in what i do, everytime i do.

Now, practically talking, we set a fair amount of 100k coins for the crowdfunding stage, in front of the few millions which could be obtained with PoW and DpoS. Right amount isn't it?

I would like to know from you some feedbacks and all about this idea. If your suggestion could be constructive and effective that will be considered for sure.

Just FYI @Godson_Mansa  is not part of the Dev-team, for now there are only 3 Devs, two with BCT accounts the third is not a member of BCT but uses the same account, just clearing this out because he said "we've" and I don't want any confusion here.

BTW we are not anonymous, mmitech is a long member of the community his name and identity are available under his GitHub repos, The second is Tomislav mucic which is also a member of the community since 2011, you can also check that in the apple store (he released Creditpay under his personal account), the third member is Andrej Planker, he is also a long member of the community... maybe mmitech is the only one that like to engage we others are more or less observers

Look, if you want to make yourself sound credible, you can't just dismiss the entire project. It reeks too much of fanboy bias. I don't know what you are a fanboy of, but I'm about 99% confident it is a competing project.

To be credible, you have to acknowledge both strengths and weaknesses and then demonstrate how the weaknesses outweigh the strengths or that the weaknesses result in a fundamental flaw that undermines the viability of the project. You've done absolutely none of that.

Yes, you've focused on negatives, but as it stands you have amplified them to the point of distortion. That's just bad rhetoric and basically invalidates any substance that may exist in anything you write. In other words, you've hung yourself while shooting yourself in the foot.

120k market cap for a coin with a wallet.

honestly not worth 120k untill we know the roadmap and direction. there are hundreds of coins with under $5000 market cap offering the same.

i have a great feeling the price will drop when people realize 4k sats is a $160,000 market cap. rather high for a coin with no clear direction currently.

Crypto experts also say if you don't even know how to get hashing power nor have the tools needed, then there is no need to try mine it, just buy.
