561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will ICOs die? on: May 08, 2018, 08:51:10 AM
Recently learned that more and more ICOs are closing deals through private sales and merely airdropping the coins. Will ICOs die, when will it?
ICOs wonīt die, but there will be less ICOs in the future. They will be regulated, stable and more trustworthy.
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass Bounty hunter or Full time crypto trader on: May 08, 2018, 08:50:00 AM
I wonder what is better, a Mass bounty hunter or a full time crypto trader? What are the pros and cons of each chosen position?
What do you mean by Mass bounty hunter? When I look on your negative trust then I know what do you mean  Grin
People like you should leave this forum, because you are abusing the bounty campaigns this means that you are stealing money from ICO company, do you think that is right?
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign is so Tiring so as Merit on: May 07, 2018, 02:03:48 PM
Task in bounty campaign is better than making some sales talk to every person you've known and you know out of 50 person you share your knowledge and information about the business onlyome or two person Jason joined. And you need to visit more houses and people to do more sales talk for you to earn your quota unlike here, I can just sit while making my tasks, watch same time with the channel I like, and do really need to stress out going out from the house to do my work...
Yes, that is correct, we do targeted marketing, bounty hunters should know this, we want to help our ICOs to get money and they want to give us big rewards for our work.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FAKE ICOs Bounties. What to do? on: May 07, 2018, 02:00:45 PM
Just participate in bounty campaigns from trusted managers, usually they choose projects carefully. Look at their past bounties, how many of them were unsuccessful.
I donīt see that they choose projects carefully, look at Sylon, he is doing worthless ICOs, for example the last one - Quakemining or Jinbi  Grin
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign is so Tiring so as Merit on: May 07, 2018, 06:53:58 AM
At first, I am so eager to join most of the Bounty Campaigns, I even ignored Airdrops. But lately, I feel like it's so tiring. Some campaign don't even update the sheet and not even paying us tokens. So you feel like not interested anymore. All those efforts are worthless. Additionally with this Merit system, It felt so useless. My activities and posts are way more than qualified but still merit is nowhere to be found. I tried to create replies, and posts nicely and formally like "Jose Rizal" or even "Nicholas Sparks" but still no chance, it makes me anxious. I think this is the punishment for the late bloomer in cryptocurrency. Lol
That is the truth about the merit system, but I think they will adjust it in the near future.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FAKE ICOs Bounties. What to do? on: May 07, 2018, 06:50:48 AM
I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?
Nothing, you canīt report them on police, because you work for them without a contract of employment and you canīt prove that you shave paid.
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty and too many participants on: May 06, 2018, 03:01:56 PM
Hello community!
What do you think about popularity of the bounty campaigns? I see many new participants joining bounty campaigns, especially Twitter and Facebook. With more and more new participants, we will earn less and less rewards, also many of potential buyers would rather join bounty campaign than invest to ICO - again less rewards for bounty participants.
I hope that we will see some regulations here and bounty campaigns be more strict in rules and they will choose only the best participants.
So, what is your opinion, guys?

Everyone has the right to take part in bounty campaigns. The problem is not this. Recently, I often see many multi-accounts and bots in campaigns. And I consider this a very negative fact. Managers should perform their work more qualitatively and remove scammers on time.

True, when I see spreadsheets with multiple members or junior members registered almost in same time, it has to be one person...

My friend told me about bounty and signature campaigns and thanks to that this forum has changed a lot. But I understand, everybody wants money, but we have to do marketing in a good way!
569  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where could someone comfortably live on $30 a day? on: November 29, 2012, 01:02:44 AM
Having a discussion with a friend and we are now trying to find places you could live really comfortably on $30 a day.

Anyone out there done a lot of travel? Lemme know where someone can make the most of their money.

It is costing me less than $30 to live on my sailboat. I'm traveling from Daytona beach to key west and its costing about $15 a day for two people, food, and fuel when we can't sail. And this is in America.

I'm not sure about comfort but we have shower and water and solar power and television and stolen wifi from time to time Smiley
570  Economy / Goods / Re: [FOR SALE] - Beautiful Paper Bitcoins - UNFUNDED - Custom Printing - Any amount on: November 19, 2012, 12:58:24 AM
LAST CALL for these notes. I am leaving on my sailboat in two days for points closer to the equator. This is your last chance until spring to order some of these beautiful notes Smiley

Thank you to everyone who ordered.
571  Economy / Goods / Re: [FOR SALE] - Beautiful Paper Bitcoins - UNFUNDED - Custom Printing - Any amount on: November 14, 2012, 02:29:14 PM
do you have any of the gavin notes? They are my favorite design

I don't have gavin notes. If you have a blank gavin note template for me to use I can probably print them too.

572  Economy / Goods / Re: [FOR SALE] - Beautiful Paper Bitcoins - UNFUNDED - Custom Printing - Any amount on: November 14, 2012, 02:28:01 PM
Your OP says that denominations are available in fives and ones, but I also want twos'

I.e.

I want a set of .01 BTC, .02 BTC, .05 BTC, .1 BTC, .2 BTC, .5 BTC, 1 BTC, 2 BTC, 5 BTC and 10 BTC

All of the twos in double amounts compared to the ones & fives.  In this fashion, any amount of BTC can be tendered (without change due) between .01 BTC and 11.10 BTC using 12 bills or less.

EDIT: Upon review, that would be "...21.10 BTC using 13 bills or less".  The point being that including 2's are more 'paper efficient' than quarters if the goal is presenting an exact amount due.

Sorry for the delay, I have been away hunting.

I can print them in any denomination you like. No problem.

Also, I am leaving for points south on Nov 21. This offer ends on Nov 19 so that I have time to print/ship them before I leave.

I will be gone till the end of March when the weather warms back up in the Daytona Beach area.

If you would like to order notes in the set you described, just send me a private message and I'll get them printed and cut right away.

573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Church of Satoshi and Latter Day Coins on: November 05, 2012, 11:22:42 AM

So why doesn't someone just do it already- and register the Church of Satoshi? There is certainly enough philosophy here.

Um? Why not? Certainly you can come up with a million reasons why not.

Granny always said... You can fuck up a perfectly good thing, or make a bad thing worse by getting the church (or the government) involved in your life.

So... Granny would say FUCK NO

575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why ASIC's Should Not Be The Future Of Crypto Currencies on: November 03, 2012, 12:16:14 AM
These larger and more efficient operations will be motivated by profits, but will likely be more interested in maintaining the network security to ensure bitcoin profits in other endeavors rather than directly from mining itself. I would not be surprised at all if the BitCoin world of 2030 is almost 100% institutional (finanacial houses/banks) mining, with partnering agreements on planned hash levels to help reduce costs, and a big warehouse full of standby gear that can be powered on if a rouge does appear on the network.

You had me up till the concept of miners hevily invested in hardware continuing to mine so that bitcoin continues.... I don't see that happening at all. Just like poeple will sell their GPUs when it's not profitable to mine, those who bought into ASIC expecting profits will shut down when there are none also.

I'm shutting down and selling my GPUs tuesday, maybe wednesday.

Don't want to be murdered and thrown off your sailboat.  (Quite naturally.). I am always VERY cautious about meeting people irl I met online.

wow! Murdered?

You should be cautious of people you meet anywhere.

But please, assure me that I am not coming off as a murder with that rideshare post Sad

I normally sail solo. But a very good and able sailor friend of mine died in the storm when hurricane sandy came through my area. His and another boat became tangled and in his attempt to free his boat, he was crushed between the two.

I posted that ad because I thought that if Dan had an extra set of hands that evening, he would be alive today.

I suspect I will travel solo to Miami this winter. And that is fine. But having an interesting person aboard would be nice too. And I, like you, will be very cautious of who I would allow to come.

I'm only just seeing your avatar. I didn't realize you were female. It would be pretty creepy of me to be inviting a very young looking woman I met on the internet on this trip. I apologize.

Technology is a tool, if you don't have the discipline or fortitude to wield it--you are the tool.  I myself feel little adverse affects from exposure to modern amenities, I can (and often do) leave them for weeks or days at a time to live a simpler life as well.  I think the problem with society is not the tehnology's spread, but rather the lack of backbone from couch potatoes.

Looking for an opportunity to kick the habit for a month?

I posted this yesterday.

"When I was a kid" we didn't have most of this tech we have now and I feel the world was doing just fine without it.

Now... I'm a cellphone addict and an Internet addict and I'm only one of millions.

Must be rough, being able to summon help from almost anywhere in the country, to say nothing of having the capability to access any information you want, whenever you want.

After hitting send I wish I had added that PERSONAL technology enslaves.

There is a fuckload of awesome tek out there. The internet could be the most wonderful thing. But then there are all these damn people running loose on it. FLHippys and myrkuls and pirateat40s (oh my).

I think of the people who came before us. With nothing more than a stick and a string Eratosthenes was able to accurately measure the circumference of the earth.

I don't loathe tek. I make my living off of tek. But Ive also got another side that knows how to live in the woods and likes to grow my own food and kill and eat the animals that need killing and eating. I get so much more satisfaction out of the times I am able to do those things than the times I am forced to earn money.

Physically, weather is is sailing in my boat and living on fish, or if it is spending the summer in the mountains of north carolina living on small game the works is much much harder, and I learn much much more (about everything) while on those extended adventures. I read books. I write in the margins. I observe a world that moves at a measured pace in sync with itself.

On my return to society, I feel enslaved by personal technology and surrounded by chaos. Is it really a good thing to have anything you want anytime you want it? For a while it sure is nice. I like regular (hot) showers. I like the wide array of groceries the tek money can buy me.. But it's no where near as satisfying as the fish I caught myself or rabbit or the deer. All of which I thank for their lives so that I may live. I don't bother to thank the animal I bought at the grocery store for it's life. I'm so very far removed from the process of those animals that it seems pointless. I don't know how it lived or died.

I leave december 1 for my next extended rendezvous with nature. This time on my sailboat where I will be mostly free of the tek bonds. But not completely. While it's certainly romantic to head out on the water with nothing more than a compass and a map, it's a very poor idea and a minimalistic but important array of tek will be keeping me safe on this coming journey. Internet included..

The Singularity doesn’t have to be negative. You should all read From Counterculture to Cyberculture: Stewart Brand, the Whole Earth Network, and the Rise of Digital Utopianism. Technology will eventually bring about a utopia, or at least help to fulfill one or another utopian ideal. Humanities salvation will come through as social change brought on by the emerging technologies being created now because the Singularity is behind us.

I would disagree. In most all cases, technology enslaves people.

"When I was a kid" we didn't have most of this tech we have now and I feel the world was doing just fine without it.

Now... I'm a cellphone addict and an Internet addict and I'm only one of millions.

All the kids are starting out addicted to technology.

Technology is more like heroin than it is the child of utopian civilization.
580  Economy / Services / Re: Does this exist? Bonding for sellers of goods that generate private keys. on: October 31, 2012, 06:17:50 PM

My comment was directed at the original poster (who, as I understand, is just starting some vague business, has no OTC id etc). It was not directed at you (who, as I understand, have been running a substantial BTC business for some time now).

Everyone has to start somewhere. Those that have ordered from me here and on eBay know who I am. 5 Minutes on google will clue you in also.

There will always be skeptics and outright haters. I was making an honest attempt at some sort of bonding or insurance.

Also, I do have an OTC ID. My attempts to trade OTC in mid 2011 showed me that it's a farce and just as scammy as everywhere else.
I never traded anything there. Every person willing to trade failed the basic sniff test.

[14:12] <gribble> User 'FLHippy', with keyid EABFC75854338513, fingerprint 11525C23C5A6F71469CE0F56EABFC75854338513, and bitcoin address None, registered on Tue Jul 26 08:22:59 2011.

OTC ID is shit. I seek something substantial. I think Casiscuis is on the right track. People who were formerly trusted are now turning out to be scammy fucks. Two factor encryption eliminates the peoples from the equation. I look forward to getting my head around how it works and implementing it.
