561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning for newbies on: December 13, 2019, 07:11:48 AM
Newbies needs to be prepared for this coming new year, scammers will try to take advantage of that year because bitcoin halving is already dropping the HYPE in crypto space  already, Learn to do research better, not all bad results in crypto are because a project failed, mostly are because of lack of research, with no good research you can easily fall for scam projects.

1) Do better research on new projects before promoting them or investing a penny on them

2) Visit scam accusation thread on the forum time to time, it will safe you a lot too

3) If you you have to invest always invest what you can afford to lose.

I recommend to newbies that they don't invest in a new coin, since halving is coming it's preferable to invest coins that has proven their worth in the market, do not waste your time to these new coins that, some of these we don not know if it will generate support since majority of them are just imitation of the past similar projects in the past, two examples of these are exchange and green energy type of projects.
For beginners it is better to invest in free coins, in addition to minimizing the risk it can also be made for them to know how or what the coin price movements are like so they can ask advice from others what they should do to survive and earn advantages of cryptocurrency.
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: December 12, 2019, 03:37:54 PM
Day trading and holding in the long term, both of them can make a profit together and everyone must have their choice according to what they can do. For me personally to do day trading we need to understand more about trading and how to read charts to estimate what we will get and determine the right point to get out and buy the coins we have.
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this still possible today? on: December 12, 2019, 10:24:03 AM
Everything can be possible in cryptocurrency. Although lately if we see the cryptocurrency market is not so profitable to sell the coins we have, it does not mean that the coins we hold will be in vain. There is still a possibility for these coins to increase if we can look for opportunities or find coins that we think have greater potential compared to other coins.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my house for buying altcoins need your help on: December 12, 2019, 08:13:04 AM
If you sold your house and that was your single residence then sell those altcoins back and get your money in some hard assets. Crypto is risky if you are in fragile financial situation. And if you really want to put your money into crypto then you should definitely allocate the most % of your portfolio to Bitcoin. Please note that I am not a financial advisor so I'm not in the position to give you advices. This is just how I would proceed if I were in the presented situation.
It is true that we must see and regulate how our financial condition. And if we sell the house that is the only place we live, I don't think it is the right decision or a very risky decision if what you do in the future does not match what you expect, you may lose your place of residence due to experience losses with investments that you make and it is better to invest in cryptocurrency with some money and not make your residence as capital to be used to invest in cryptocurrency.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your take? on: December 12, 2019, 06:37:08 AM
in my opinion many are influencing the current price factors such as market conditions that do not improve making people hold their funds. and for the coin in my portfolio that I have is still in a bad condition, the price is still below and I don't think to cut big losses, it's better if I continue the investment that is already running
Many things can affect fluctuations in the market such as bad news and good cryptocurrency and also the demand that occurs on each coin. But I think this is normal and often happens in cryptocurrency. And for the coins in your portfolio and the desire to cut losses I think you should really think about it before deciding to sell it or keep holding it, not until you end up regretting the decision you made.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people easily get scammed on the internet? on: December 11, 2019, 03:18:08 PM
Because of their greediness.

Because of their stupidity.

But why people choose internet to scam people is they can hide with someone's identity and also they even can hack devices and makethings without the owner's authorization.

Every investor needs to remember assured High ROI is likely a scam.
That's right. On the internet people can fake their identities or use other people's identities and can easily benefit by deceiving others, so that many people use it to scam and generate profits for themselves and with their ingenuity they can attract people into their projects .

568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before I Invest With Cryptoqurrency? on: December 11, 2019, 11:50:04 AM
yes investment is risk related, if you are not ready to take the risk my advice is better you take the time to study the project and cryptoqurrency before making that decision. no offense, I don't forbid you to do that, it's just that I care about you. in most cases beginners are one of the targets that are mature by scamers.
It is indeed better to learn in advance about cryptocurrency before deciding to invest in a project and also beginners are good targets for scammers. So it is better to read and learn first about cryptocurrency but the problem is most people want to profit quickly.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good advice or bad advice? on: December 11, 2019, 09:47:45 AM
Stop clinging unto the past, focus more on the present for now and i am sure that there is more money to be made in crypto space, just find good coins to hold as long as you want, remember that its not easy to hold coins and remember that not all people start holding since 2010, some entered crypto space when the last bullrun of 2017 was already around the corner
If we compare with 2017 with now it is indeed much different and it is true that many people always compare what has happened with what is now happening and because of that they will think that what they are doing now is useless. It's better to focus on what we currently do, how we survive in this cryptocurrency market.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If You Died Tomorrow, What Would Happen To Your Crypto? on: December 11, 2019, 06:06:20 AM
As more and more investors join this sector, a question everyone should be asking themselves is: "What happens to my crypto if I was to die unexpectedly soon?"

I understand the thought of this is depressing, but it is inevitable and the only thing that matters is whether you prepared for it or not. Most of us have enough money in this game to start preparing for this in order to prevent it from going to waste.

If you haven't planned around this, or even thought about it yet, I recommend investigating the few options below:

1) Include all your wallets and passwords/seeds in your will. Make sure you include instructions on how to access your funds as well as giving these to someone not familiar with crypto will be just as useless as not even including them in your will.

2) Along with the will, teach the closest person in your life how to access your funds. Whether this is your significant other, family member, or really close friend, make sure someone understands how to access a wallet and transfer/sell the funds. Just like how you should be researching projects before you invest in it, make sure you choose who you share your secrets with carefully.

3) Take a look at Safe Haven. Safe Haven is building an Inheritance Platform that will allow you to do everything above, but with a legal entity that understands crypto and will make sure your funds get in the right hands. Not only will you reassured that your funds are secured and inheritable, but you will also be increasing the adoption of crypto yourself, outside of just investing into it.

So no matter what you are invested in, if it is a large amount of money, I recommend you begin thinking about the future. Crypto is very complex and requires a lot of time to make it fully inheritable, so please make sure you take the appropriate safeguards and steps in doing this correctly.
When we die of course we will lose all of our assets in cryptocurrency and I personally haven't thought about things to teach people closest to me about cryptocurrency and how it is cryptocurrency, sometimes I also think about things to teach my closest people to understand about cryptocurrency but for now I have not taught it because I once told him about this and he was not interested.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: December 10, 2019, 04:33:12 PM
There is one thing I have realized from my experience with KYC for bounties. Almost all the projects I have provided my personal information to them failed to even get listed on exchanges and the project dies off. Surprisingly, those that didn't require KYC paid me and the project is truly developing. My point is, am beginning to think those project requesting hunters to go through KYC are just in for their information to trade and do not have any intentions to develop their crypto project so let's be vigilant about whom we carelessly give our details to, for some peanuts...May God bless our hustle
I myself also don't really like the existence of KYC where we have to give our personal information to others who we don't know and don't know who they are. Maybe they can misuse our personal information or maybe not, but surely we think that they will misuse our information and their intention may be only to get personal data from others and not to develop their projects.
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Altcoins? on: December 10, 2019, 01:31:06 PM
myself will choose HODL and trading method for growing my coin with short and long term investment. dont care if i need to wait for long time before enter the market and bought at the bottom. impatient and Fomo is one of the reason we lose and decrease our asset value.
Holding is not really a method to grow your altcoins, the value of your altcoins can grow in fiat but you are not going to get more coins if you just hold, however it is the safest method to grow your wealth if you are new to the markets, but the best way to increase the number of coins you have by far is trading, it is not easy and many are going to lose more than what they earn but the only way to know if you are one of the talented traders out there is to try and see how it goes.
It is true. Holding is not something that can be said to be good for growing altcoin, when compared to trading I would also choose to trade even though it can be said that trading has a greater risk if we do not understand about how to trade in cryptocurrency but compared to holding uncertain whether the coins are we hold later will really have a large value or even fall.

574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Altcoins not Growing These Days on: December 10, 2019, 10:26:37 AM
As we all know , crypto market is not doing so much in these days. Major Altcoins are bleeding, even top currencies are not increasing
Major reason according to my opinion is the lack of new investors. New investors are not showing interest.
in 2020 I think will be better than Today. What do you think, what is your prediction about crypto market. kindly share your thought.
For the time being, I don't think new investors want to be too hasty in starting to invest because maybe they think the current market conditions are not the right time to invest or they are doubtful they can make a profit from the coins they will buy later. I personally for now only invest in a few coins that I think have the opportunity to make a profit.
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sources of income? on: December 10, 2019, 07:18:51 AM
Besides trading, holding, and bounty hunting, what are your other sources of income in cryptocurrency?

Can you tell us about your profitable ways of earning cryptocurrencies nowadays?
Trading, holding and also doing bounty hunting I would prefer to trade because to do my own bounty hunting I don't think it's profitable at the moment or it's difficult to get the benefits of bounty hunting and to hold myself I also do it and hold a few coins which in my opinion can make a profit even though we hold based on estimates that its value will be much increased compared to current prices.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners now is your chance on: December 09, 2019, 03:29:05 PM
You can still buy altcoin right now while the price is not too high. But you must selective to buy the altcoin because not all altcoin can bring you the profit in the future. You should analyze the coin at the market so you can find the right altcoin, and that will need a deeper analysis to find the coin because every altcoin seems to have the same potential to increase. But I already have many altcoins because I already bought it a few months ago, but if I can find more potential altcoins, I think I will buy another altcoin.
You say that you have bought a lot of altcoin and will buy altcoin again if you think there is potential, I don't think it is more risky to get a loss. Indeed, sometimes buying lots of coins is the right thing but when later what happens is not in accordance with the observations and forecasts that you have done, it will only cause harm to you.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: December 09, 2019, 12:41:49 PM
Hate to say but is true. This is reality, when you think you will be rich after bounty end and then you receive reward. You got so much tokens and you have been calculate you will get so much money if you can sell on ICO price but the actual is the price token when listed on the market is totally low from ICO price. So you only received little amount of money beside you think you will got a lot of money...  Grin
So true. I think everyone has experienced the same thing, where they think that they will get a lot of money by seeing the results they get on a spreadsheet and everyone must have counted how much they can get but when the tokens have been distributed and listed in exchange , we see there the price is very low and we feel what we do is just useless because the price is so far below.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: December 09, 2019, 10:13:00 AM
For me, the number of scam projects makes it difficult for new projects to attract investors to invest in their projects to provide funding so that the project can run according to the roadmap. Although there are some projects that really want to develop their projects, but I think for the moment it is difficult and many projects fail because of not achieving softcap and for now I prefer to invest in the top coins.
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are to be blame on: December 09, 2019, 06:48:33 AM
You can't really avoid scammers. They are found in every aspect of life.

What we have to do is to sensitize people on how to detect scam in the crypto sphere. Honestly, so many ICOs are just scam with people behind them looking to collect millions of USD with no working product. The sooner people realize this, the better for them.

Crypto world will still grow, with or without scammers
As you said we cannot avoid scammers, there will always be people who look for opportunities from the opportunities available, there will always be people who want to get huge profits at the expense of others. What we can do is to be more careful in choosing every project we will participate in, there is no need to rush and if we ever get a scam project, at least we can make it a comparison with new projects that we will participate in.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not invest in ICO anymore. Do not Feed scammers on: December 08, 2019, 02:31:07 PM
We cannot forbid everyone to invest in ICO. Everyone has their own decisions and reasons for investing and not all ICO projects are scams, there are some projects that really develop their projects based on the roadmap that has been prepared. Although lately we often encounter many projects that turn into scams, but that does not mean that ICO is no longer profitable or does not mean that all ICO projects are scams.
