5601  Other / Off-topic / Re: Cheapest Domain Provider on: November 26, 2019, 10:35:18 AM
Don't know which domain provider is cheapest, but there you can find some good domain and hosting deals on upcoming Black Friday:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5203656.0
And I agree with post above that free hosting isn't reliable. It has so many disadvantages that makes it not worth to use. And nowadays hosting isn't very expensive and it's affordable almost for everyone. But if you really want to use free host, you may look at 000Webhost.com. I used them in past and as free provider and it was ok.
5602  Other / Meta / Re: It looks like I've been demerited today on: November 26, 2019, 12:50:46 AM
Very interesting thing, I've never seen anything similar before. First I thought about April fools day joke when theymos reversed some merits. But this time it should be some kind of bug. Let's hope theymos will fix it.
Maybe this merit transaction didn't got enough confirmations and stuck on blockchain - network was very bussy with all these merits dumped by theymos Cheesy
Hopefully Theymos will fix this and give OP back his merits, even though he doesn't need them to rank up or anything.  It'd be much worse if they'd actually been the merits that made the difference between one rank and another--that would suck royally.
I don't think that 3 merits means much even if we talk about ranking up. But what if it would be not 3, but 50 merits - it would really suck royally.

It goes every year a little more worse with Vettel. Won't be suprised if he stops after this or maybe next season.

Maybe Vettel needs a change and leaving Ferrari as he has tried for several years with them without any success story.I think he would be better at another team but this is difficult as all the good teams have already signed drivers for the upcoming year so most probably the upcoming year will be the last year at Ferrari for him.
Yeah, he will have to stay in Ferrari and wait until his contract will expire. Now only Williams don't have drivers for upcoming season. But then, I'm not sure where he can go. Mercedes? No way! Maybe comeback to Red Bull? But it would be against Red Bull strategy to develop their own young drivers. Mclaren? Maybe, but seems that they are confident about them long term project with Norris and Sainz. I'm not even talking about other teams like Renault or Racing Point.
Maybe he should try himself in other Racing series like Le Mans, Indycar or even Dakar (like Alonso)?
5604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 25, 2019, 11:22:31 PM
There is two interesting games tomorrow.
First is Real - PSG. Probably I will back Real because they are playing great recently. BTTS sould be good choice for this game, but odds for it is just 1.45.
In Juve - Atletico game I would like to see Atletico winning, but probably it's not going to happen. Under 2.5 goals at 1.65 is my choice.
In City - Shakhtar game I think we can expect many goals. City are going to win easily, but I believe that Shakhtar may score 1 goal, maybe I will risk with BTTS.
Atalanta - Dinamo Zagreb. Any thoughts about it from our Croatian guys there? Why Dinamo is written of by bookmakers? I wouldn't call Atalanta as obvious favorites...
I am sure that Tottenham is going to win the match against Olympiacos.
Mourinho needs this win in order to establish his dominance and his position in the bench.
My bet is going to be for an over 3.5 goals in the game for both teams.
I'm confident about Spurs win. Olympiacos isn't most difficult opponent and Spurs will play at home.
5605  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Antivirus Program that accepts subscriptions using BTC? on: November 24, 2019, 10:40:45 PM
Unfortunately I don't know major antivirus programs accepting Bitcoin. I only know that Malwarebytes accept Bitcoin. In past I saw that Avira started accepting crypto payments for VPN subscriptions, but I'm not sure that you can buy their antivirus with crypto.
Alternatively, you can use websites like Newegg to buy antivirus with Bitcoin.
5606  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Black Friday 2019 on: November 24, 2019, 10:29:53 PM
I'm looking for some hosting Black Friday offers. Maybe someone saw something besides Hostinger and Namecheap? If no, then probably I will stay on Hostinger or switch to Namecheap (haven't compared details of their offers yet).
Currently I don't have any VPN subscriptions, but I see some good offers for it, and VPN is good thing to have.
But as said above, currently crypto is down seriously, so probably I won't spend on it on this Black Friday as much as I would like :/.

Adobe Creative Cloud software Black Friday deal 2019 - 40% or more discount - https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/plans.html
Did Addobe started accept crypto? Because I don't see Bitcoin payment option on their website.
5607  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning] Fake Ledger Wallet Appear on Search Engine on: November 24, 2019, 10:10:45 PM
This problem is so old already, we saw these thing for so many years already. And it's not only used in crypto world, scammers using it to promote fake stores for example.
I never click on sponsored Google search results, even if domain looks exactly same like on original website.
But this thing is a bit strange. Google banned cryptocurrency ads few years ago and ad of hardware wallet store probably should be considered as crypto related add. But it's still accepted and verified by Google. It  just doesn't makes sense when legit business can't advertise, while scams, phishing links and etc is accepted on Google.
5608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you currently holding stablecoins(USDT, TUSD, etc)? Think again. on: November 24, 2019, 10:01:09 PM
I always been sceptical about stablecoins and I never hold any of these. There is quite many reasons like liquidity, centralization and etc why I don't like it, but I didn't knew that funds can be frozen. So, thank you for posting this stuff. But maybe this thing doesn't looks like something unexpected, because it's centralized cryptocurrency and I don't have any trust in it.
But seeing how big Tether marketcap is, it's worrying thing. Imagine them colapsing one day...
5609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: November 24, 2019, 09:34:01 PM
I'm killing it in La Liga, but i'm not winning any bets lol Yesterday, I had an acca with Granada 1X @1.92, got that result right but I lost my acca, same thing happened with Real Madrid, went with ML but ended up losing yet another acca. Today, it's looking like this in my three team parlay:

Espanyol - Getafe
Athletic Bilbao

C'mon, Man Utd!  Tongue

I believe Real Madrid shall win the El Classico as they’re finally settling as a team, and on the other hand Barcelona are struggling despite having players like Griezmann and Messi.
We're looking pretty good right now, but as a RM fan, I would never underestimate Barca, specially not when they're playing at home. To me, regardless of the current form of both teams in La Liga, there are no favorites in El Clasico before kick-off.
Did you added MU to your parlay? Oh, probably it wasn't best decision. My personal golden rule - never bet on MU Cheesy. Not even talk about adding them to parlay.
Speaking about El Clasico, I agree that there is no favorite this time. Real looks solid recently, but things may change, because there is still few weeks left until the game. And Barca at home and away is two different teams. Away we are struggling a lot against bottom teams like Leganes. While at home we are much more solid, scoring more goals. Though, very far away from being perfect. But I don't expect anything better under Valverde anymore.
5610  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {Warning}: Bitaddress.org Phishing websites on: November 24, 2019, 12:08:58 AM
Holly shit, it's huge number of phishing websites! Your post reminded me one personal experience with Bitaddress.org:
Once I wanted to generate Bitcoin wallet on this website. But I typed Bitadress.org instead of Bitaddress.org. Thanks god I saw this thing when I entered into it and it wasn't actual phishing website:

Same with Bitaddres.org and Bitadres.org.
5611  Other / Meta / Re: Enabling quotes in locked topics on: November 23, 2019, 11:42:38 PM
I am in favor of enabling quotes in locked topics. But you can use epochconverter for adding the time of quoted post.
Enter the exact time the post was created and click on "Human date to Timestamp" button. Then Epoch timestamp will be shown.

Yeah, there is some alternative methods to quote from locked topics, but I think that they require too much hassle. Simple solution would be really needed. Because we often need to quote from locked topics, especially when we are talking about historic topics. Personally when I need to do it, I just copy text, insert it into quote tag and add link to original post above or under quote. For me it's simpliest way to quote from locked topic.
5612  Other / Meta / Re: The Bitcoin Forum is 10 years old! on: November 22, 2019, 11:28:46 PM
Happy 10th anniversary, Bitcointalk! Congratulations for everyone here! I'm so happy to be tiny part of this great community for 5 years (4 as registered member).
10 years is nothing in World history, but 10 years is great achievement for website. I hope that after 10 years we will celebrate another Bitcointalk anniversary. And maybe our further generations will see 100th anniversary of Bitcointalk Cheesy
5613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: November 22, 2019, 11:15:05 PM
I really would like to see Kosovo in Euro 2020. Reaching it with first attempt would be amazing for this country. For example, Finland reached major tournament after more than 30 attempts! And opponents that they will face - North Macedonia and Georgia/Belarus is their level teams.
Can Scotland reach first major tournament since 1998? No chance I think. Serbia is big favorites there.
In group B it's impossible to predict something, because level of teams is ballanced here.
I see Iceland as clear favorites in Pot A as well. They are a very healthy nation. Physically a very strong nation. I have always preferred hard work ethics over pure talent. It is not a coincidence that some of the strongest men in the world are from Iceland. Even their women look strong and healthy. I respect them a lot because they told McDonalds to fcuk off you are not going to poison our children anymore.
I agree with you. Maybe Iceland don't play prettiest football, but you simply can't love this nation. And opponents in their group is mediacore teams without any significant achievements in last few decades.
5614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 22, 2019, 10:54:26 PM
I believe that Spurs is going to win tomorrow. You know, new manager effect usually works in such games. Though  West Ham away isn't easiest opponent. Can't wait to see game.
But I think that pressure under Mou shouldn't be big this season. Because it's not his picked squad and they already lost much this season. Reaching Europa league zone in EPL and 1/4 final in CL is best what they can achieve this season. Usually Mourinho have best results on 2nd season. And then being sacked on third season Cheesy.
I've never been fan of Mourinho, but I missed him in EPL.
5615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: November 22, 2019, 10:13:05 PM
Binotto (Leader of Ferrari Sport) spoken yesterday with "we will do something important with drivers".

Today Elkan, leader of FCA spoken: "The Ferrari comes before drivers".
What do you think they will do with them??
I mean, I don't think they can fire them, for sure they cannot fire LeClerk, I have some doubt on Vettel but if they want to fire him they need to pay a lot of money (for sure) to him.
It's difficult situation for Ferrari and it's hard to say what decision would be best for them. Firing one of drivers doesn't looks like a best solution currently. And it's obvious that none of them would agree to be 2nd driver, their ambitions is just too big. Team had serious talk with drivers after race, but I doubt that it helped much, because tension between them is big.
There was many similar cases like Senna and Prost, Webber and Vettel, Alonso and Hamilton and such thing never ended well for the team.

Cool cool...  Let's bet on something again next year.  Smiley
For sure! Wink

their spreadsheet link isn't working I can't tell how many slots are left.
Spreadsheet link works fine for me. Hero/Legendary and Sr. Member positions is full and there is still 3 open spots for Full Members, but probably it will be filled soon.

LTU_btc, post or pm me your BTC address...  We don't need to wait til the end of the season.  RBR's not gonna get enough points to top Ferrari at the table anyway.

And yup...  LOL_Ferrari.
I can confirm that I received BTC from you.
Thanks, mate!
5618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019-20 EuroLeague Basketball on: November 21, 2019, 09:58:09 PM
Completely forgot about this thread, thanks @casperBGD for bumping it.
Teams already played 9-10 games and I want to share some thoughts.
I didn't expected to see Efes at the top, I thought that they are just one season wonder, but seems that they are serious contender this year also.
Barca with their squad full of stars playing as they should. Real and CSKA are solid as always, despite few loses.
After team rebuild with Messina Olimpia Milano looks great. And solid reukts of Maccabi is biggest surprise for me. Despite that Asvel is new team in Euroleague and their squad isn't impressive, they playing well and can reach playoffs.

I don't think that you need to worry about Fenerbahche much.

i must say that i am surprised that Fener is still sitting on two wins in Euroleague this season, or to put it another way, on seven loses, since more than 12-13 loses could question position within first five teams, and it would be hard to see them to win all matches from one point, one or two loses are expected even if they are in best form..
Yes, I believed that it's just slow start, but seems that their problems is much bigger. Zeljko is desperate and he is so disappointed about his players. If they won't improve, they barely will reach playoffs.
5619  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Some problematic things about Coinbase on: November 21, 2019, 09:38:23 PM
There is one very important thing that everyone need to realize - Coinbase isn't a wallet, it's crypto trading platform which can be used as a wallet like many other exchanges.
1. As wallet, I agree. There isn't many good reasons to use Coinbase as a wallet. But as exchange, I don't see why people should avoid it. About keeping coins there - there is  same risks like on all other exchanges and wallets where you don't have full control of your crypto.
2. Well, without KYC verification you can't use most of Coinbase features. So, you have to choose, give them your personal data or simply don't use them. But other exchanges also requires KYC, so there is only few alternatives like decentralized exchanges.
3. This is normal thing because they have to follow AML regulations and have to check everything if they found your transactions suspicious. If you don't want it, simply use proper decentralized Bitcoin wallets. Because what do you expect from crypto bank?
4. I haven't tried Coinbase app for long time. But isn't there optional choice to enable 2FA before sending transaction? But maybe it's not big issue, because they ask for 2FA when you login to Coinbase app. So, it's not that easy yo access app and steal money from it.
5620  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: An Overview of Bitcoin Android Wallet on: November 21, 2019, 09:15:50 PM
So far there is only few wallets in overview. I wait to see some more wallets in your list.
Personally, for me Coinomi is prefered mobile wallet. Though I mainly use it for altcoins, not Bitcoin.
Bitcoin Wallet is first mobile wallet that I ever tried. But it was so long time ago, that I don't remember my experience with it. But from what I saw in their changelog it's still actively developped.
But in general, no matter which mobile wallet you're using, it's not a good idea to hold lot of money in it.
For anyone looking for a Lightening Network focused bitcoin Mobile wallet, You can check out Wallet of Satoshi - Link🚀  from what I know, It's a full-fledged Lightening Networks wallet.

PS: I'm yet to try it out, just that it's becoming a regular name among Crypto Twitter Lightening Networks Enthusiasts.
This is first time when I hear name of this wallet. There isn't many reviews about this wallet, and I don't want to use wallets which aren't very popular. Offcourse, I'm not saying that this wallet is bad and it's cool to see Lightening network focused wallet.
