5641  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: The Ledger Nano S firmware version 1.6 is ready for testing/Beta testing! on: November 13, 2019, 11:13:32 PM
I also got email about release of new firmware. It's good news, because I thought that after release of Nano X, Ledger will abandon Nano S.
But like always, I'm not going rush to update firmware of myvwebsite. I will wait some time to be sure that there is bugs and everything works fine. There is no reason to hurry, because this update isn't big and without very significant and important additions.
5642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Disney plus+ service begins today. Do you think if they accept a crypto on: November 13, 2019, 10:29:07 AM
If Disney plus service would start accepting crypto payments, I doubt that it would have significant positive influence for them. It would be more like PR campaign. Because number of crypto user is too small in general and starting accepting Bitcoin or other currency wouldn't increase number of their subscribers significantly.
I see that some of you comparing Disney+ and Netflix. I think they are indirect competitors. Disney plus is cheaper, but I doubt people will seitch from Netflix just because of this. Because content of these services is completely different. Disney+ is mainly for children, while Netflix offers lot of great movies and TV series.
5643  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ordered Ledger Backup Pack - Nano X + Nano S on: November 13, 2019, 10:14:15 AM
It's always a good idea to buy hardware wallet if you want to keep your crypto safe. You bought it from official seller, so you shouldn't be concerned much about that you may get not genuine or preconfigured device. But here is few tips ehich help to check is it everything fine with your Ledger:
https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002481534-Check-if-device-is-genuine
It's good deal that you can save almost $30 when you buy Nano X and Nano S together. But as said above, Black Fridayvis approaching, so probably Ledger is preparing some good deals again.
5644  Other / Meta / Re: Lets Discuss The Possible Ways to Encourage Members to Use Escrow Service. on: November 12, 2019, 11:40:22 PM
It's sad story. Maybe it's still possible that he will return money. But considering thst he asked for loans without valid collateral, I wouldn't put much faith.
But I think this case is a bit different, because scammer offered to use escrow, but victim refused it, because of green trust.
Escroe is must use thing in most of cases, especially when you're dealing with relatively new members. Few positive feedbacks on profile doesn't means much, it's not so difficult to get it. Especially when there is things like trust farming exists. Escrow isn't needed only when you're dealing with old extremely trusted member with big number of positive fedbacks and nothing negative in his profile.
5645  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: November 12, 2019, 11:14:31 PM
Yeah, international breaks isn't the most exciting time of year. But in upcoming days decisive matches for spots in Euro 2020 will be played, so we can expect something interesting.
For example - Czech Republic - Kosovo, it's direct  clash for 2nd place. It would be nice to see Ksovo reaching EURO with first attempt.
Or Turkey - Iceland. Turkey is leading with France, Iceland 4 points behind, so their chances is minimal. But it can be interesting match.
5646  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of iqoption on: November 12, 2019, 10:30:52 AM
Can you tell what exactly happened to you? I know that you can find mixed reviews about all these binary trading services, but from your post isn't clear at all. Can you give us some details about your problem? Or if you believe that they scammed you, you should start scam accusation in proper format.
5647  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can i make 50.000$ fast ? on: November 12, 2019, 12:26:16 AM
I also would like to know answer to your question LOL Cheesy. But I have do disappoint you, there is no magical way to make $50k just in few months. Because here in crypto world money don't grow on thress. You have to work hard to earn it. As complete beginner without any specific knowledge you should start with more realistic goals. Because you shouldn't expect that someone will tell you magical secret method how to become rich very fast.
5648  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion to reduce signature campaign spam posts on: November 11, 2019, 11:21:09 PM
Wouldn't it therefore be a useful measure to prohibit signature campaigns to require a minimum number of posts per week or month? Or at least a minimum number of 1 to 3 posts per week or not more than 10 a month?
I don't think it's good idea If such low minimal number of posts would be introduced, advertising through signature campaigns would be not effective. But as you say, max number of posts would be optional. So, most of sig campaign participants still would posts as much as possible to maximize their earnings. So, such change in rules wouldn't have any effect.
And I think number of posts isn't an issue, especially when almost all Bitcoin paying campaigns are managed properly. I can talk from my experience. My campaign requires to make 25 posts, but usually I make 30-35 posts week, because I just don't think about my campaign quota when posting. Even when I was without campaign, I was making similar number of posts.
5649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: November 11, 2019, 11:05:49 PM
The Spanish Super Cup draw was held today and here are the semis:

So, we'll have one El Clasico on December 18th, and then we could potentially have another one month later, totally a coincidence, the Spanish Football federation did not plan this lol

IMO, Super Cup in the middle of season is really dumb idea, especially when it will be held somewhere in Saudi Arabia.
Such draw isn't surprising, because everyone wants to see El Clasico in final. Though, I think it's high chance that we won't see it...
Just leaving here the XG for this part of the Liga.

Football is a fun game

Luckiest team: Barca

Unluckiest teams: Atletico and Villareal
Interesting, but I don't get how exactly these stats are calculated?
5650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and tax in your countries on: November 10, 2019, 10:49:45 PM
I'm from Lithuania and here you have to pay 15% tax from your profits if it exceeds €2500/year. For example if you bought BTC at €7000 and sold at €10 000, you have to pay 15% from €3000 - it would be €450 in such case.
I will just say that anyone who pays crypto tax in Croatia (currently and in the past) actually donates state money. And why do I say that? Well, because you have the ability to change crypto (in FIAT) to a certain value per transaction (1000 Euros - daily) without ID, and also to buy/sell gold with crypto in a same way. You also have physical and online stores that accept crypto, which is also a perfectly legal way to avoid paying taxes (or at least it can get you save some time on keeping FIFO records) but you still pay very high VAT.

To be clear, I'm not for tax avoidance - but if there are legal possibilities for me not to pay that tax, then, of course, I will use them while they are available to me.
Yeah, but it's not always possible to avoid taxes. If you cash out crypto and want to buy something big (car, house or something similar), tax is something what you can't avoid. Otherwise you will face some legal problems in such cases.
5651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: November 10, 2019, 10:25:12 PM
But the odds are @3.54 right now  Lips sealed It's a derby, Betis should be motivated to turn things around, they're playing at home, anything can happen. Risky, but I'll take it. Wish me luck! Cheesy

Sorry for loss, mate Sad. Indeed, Betis played well tonight, but it wasn't even enough to reach draw. It was great derby to watch.
Now we have boring international break. Let's hope that nobody will return injured from it...
5652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why only 6.2 percent of American citizens own Bitcoin? on: November 10, 2019, 10:13:18 PM
So, you want to say that over 20 millions people is small number? Uh, don't know... It depends how you see glass of water - it's half empty or half full...
It's difficult to analyse this survey, because this number is hanging alone in the air. It would be interesting to compare it with other countries, how much % of their population own Bitcoin.
And all these surveys don't allways reflect real situation, there many factors why, but  I'm lazy to go deep into details about it. If surveys would be 100% correct, Hillary would be US president and UK would had voted to stay...
5653  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can you pass KYC using a Visa? on: November 10, 2019, 09:55:57 PM
It's difficult to answer your question without personal experience. But I doubt that you will be able to pass KYC. Usually only passport and ID card (sometimes driving license) is eligible documents for KYC procedure. As said above, visa falls into grey area.
Also, visa allows you to live/work/study in certain country only for temporary time. Visa don't make you into citizen of eligible country, so I think you can't pass KYC with it. After your visa will expire and you'll return to your original country, you won't be allowed exchange, so I don't see how they can verify you.
5654  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fake Coinbase Giveaway, Stay Away on: November 10, 2019, 09:34:50 PM
I would not give much importance to such websites now. People are aware of this type of scam. It's not like before when they would just post their site on Twitter and Telegram and people jumped on it immediately.

And your example is a good one. The address collect nothing
https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/address/1DT83v9X1mwJNq55nPAX31VTnZ4ffmFAUo/

(Still good to warn people ofc)
It's good to see empty wallet address. But I think it's not because that people become smarter and more aware about this type of scams. It's probably mainly because this website wasn't advertised and promoted yet to get some victims. I still often see people sending quite a lot money to the most obvious scam schemes
5655  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: November 10, 2019, 09:18:30 PM
For getting faucet, you should pass the captcha. I don't think bots are able to pass captcha. So, abusing the system is not as easy as you think.
This is what person not very familiar with faucets will say. All faucets have captcha, but they are struggling to fight with bots. These abusers are smarter than many of you may think. I don't know how exactly they are doing this dirty job, but captcha isn't always a problem. Faucet owners (including Freebitco.in) must add much more security features and it still can't protect faucet 100%
5656  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetHUB.io || +Microwallet (9 coins) ||+Dice & +Jackpot||+Games||+Exchange on: November 10, 2019, 08:54:26 PM
I'm working on an alternative solution, that will allow FOs become their own micro wallet.
ETA 2 weeks.
At least some good news... Will it work with all FH currencies or just Bitcoin?
And I want to ask about withdrawals. Some coins like Ethereum have high payment treshold and it's probably impossible to reach it just in month. I also tried to sell it on exchange, but nobody bought it after more than 24 hours. What do you suggest to do?
5657  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Bitcoins4free Over 700 faucets (BTC, ETH, BCH, DOGE, DASH, BLK, BTX, POT) on: November 10, 2019, 08:38:57 PM
IMPORTANT
bitcoins4free.ml/faucethub-io-microwallet-is-closing/
As most of you probably know, Faucethub.io is going to close their microwallet on 10th December. In article above you will find all things that you need to know. Shortly, you need to reach minimal payment treshold and withdraw your coins before 10th December.
Now I have no idea what to do with my website after this date. Is it still worth to keep it without Faucethub faucets. As I understand faucets will spread to other microwallets and some will use microwallet script written by mexicantarget. So, probably there will be lot of chaos until dust will settle...

5658  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: November 10, 2019, 12:09:57 AM
I've got no problem at all with the new 5 post limit, even if it means I won't earn as much.
And at the same day after you made this post, you left Cryptotalk campaign. Oh, the irony... Just kidding, nothing serious, but it looks fun Smiley.
discovered that 2 posts was added, 1 paid and the other was not. The posts were not supposed to be counted in the first place because my first post was an application to join roobet and the other post was made after I changed my signature.

So, as you said, you didn't paid for that post after you changed signature. It probably means that Yobit bot don't see their signature on your profile and you won't get paid for further posts that you will make.
5659  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any reliable alternate for preev.com available on: November 09, 2019, 11:59:09 PM
I never actually understood the BTC rates on preev, the certainly were lesser compared to the rates once gets on google or other trading exchanges. Why has preev sort of had become a standard while choosing the BTC rates? I mean one can simply use the rates you get on google search and comply with the same?
BTC rates on Preev aren't taken from thin air. They display rates taken from Bitfinex, Bitstamp, Kraken and LocalBitclins. I don't know why Preev become a standard when checking BTC prices, but probably it's mainly because it was simpliest and most convenient place to check it when there wasn't so many options as we have today.
5660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: November 09, 2019, 11:41:47 PM
About Real Madrid, that was our best game in the league so far. And Barcelona, about 10min left and Messi's carrying the whole team on his back, as always.

Huge game tomorrow: Real Betis vs Sevilla. I think i'll back the home team and add them to a parlay.
4:1 result may show that was easy win, but it wasn't. Barca played their typical football this season and we won mainly thanks to Messi who scored two perfect freekick goals.
Your choice in Seville derby is interesting and risky, especially to add this to parlay. Betis aren't playing well this season
