if your ever unsure about when to trade, dont throw all your stash into that gamble. risk half of your stash. that way if it pays off your still profiting, if it doesnt, you still have cash left over to buy in at the cheaper price (thus averaging down the first orders cost)
i personally break orders down into 5-10 different price points and never sell on a loss. and if i had 50% stash already in waiting for a sell point to hit, i wait for an adequate price drop to compensate, EG not buy in on a $2 drop if im waiting for a $10 rise.. (id wait for atleast a $10 drop to buy in and then wait for the correction)
theres many ways to limit risk, just dont be foolish throwing it all in at one order price. because you end up being foolish selling at a loss thinking you can profit on the next dump and ramp
+1 this way you might miss the biggest possible gain, but you are safe not to buy at the peak. generally, in my opinion, it is ok to buy into bitcoin rally since this rally will take it to 4 digits sooner or later. |

Mich würde interessieren, ob hier eine Alternative entsteht, wo letztendlich BEIDE Clients (qt & Darkwallet) beliebig nebeneinander genutzt werden können, oder: Ob hier zwei Lager irgendwann um die 51% Adaption kämpfen?  (Weil nur einer der Clients die Blockchain weiterführen kann) meiner meinung ist dieser streit eine positive entwicklung. die foundation kann nicht alle interessen abdecken und geht pragmatisch vor. unsystem haben andere/radikalere ideale. ich denke gavin dürfte ganz froh sein die radikalere richtung nicht mit abdecken zu müssen. das macht es der foundation leichter mit staatlichen institutionen glaubwürdig zu reden. die crypto-anarchists andererseits sorgen dafür, dass die idealistische seite nicht verloren geht/verwässert wird. hört sich nach einer guten arbeitsteilung an. |

I say fuck the press. If Bitcoin hits $1,000, it will have plenty of press already. The only thing press cares about is sensationalism. Think photos and stories of wealthy bitcoiners getting drunk, and being caught doing something embarrassing. Or stories about how they are now rich elitist assholes. And some pictures, in case your neighbors want to track you down. Stories about good or nice things don't sell. correct, bitcoin jumping over 1000 $ will be a media event; the party will also get media coverage. i agree that we have to be very careful about the press. we thought it would be best to allow some media coverage, but not inside the actual party. there will be a small open/public area with media allowed and a larger area, where it is strictly private, no press, no cameras - only us behaving nuts/losing respect ... |

bitcoin ist eine technologie, keine aktie. aber du hättest ja um die jahrtausendwende auch nicht gesagt, dass es nicht sein kann dass handy verkäufe immer weiter steigen. und ja, es gibt auch vorübergehende einbrüche. |

Da keine Listen über deine Anwesenheit geführt werden, ist es eine Ermessensfrage des Finanzamtes ob sie dir das so glauben. Allerdings hat Bitcoin durchaus den Vorteil, das jeder Coin genau nachverfolgt werden kann und damit diesem Spielgewinn zugeordnet. Das muss das Finanzamt dann erstmal widerlegen. Einfach sagen: das können wir so nicht erkennen, ist in diesem Fall nicht dein Problem. Unwissenheit schützt vor Strafe nicht und das gilt beidseitig.
PS: soweit ich weis ist nur bei Zugelassenem Glückspiel der Gewinn Steuerfrei. Und zwar nur innerhalb des Landes. Der Monaco-Casinogewinn muss in Deutschland versteuert werden. Also besser in Baden-Baden zocken. Müsste man mal recherchieren.
ähem... ganz einfach: man lässt sich beim verlassen des casinos eine quittung ausstellen. in d geht es noch doller: man kann bei vielen staatlichen casinos einfach ein € konto führen (na weil man eben nicht mit soviel bargeld rumfahren will unterwegs nach wiesbaden oder so...) dann überweist man dort auf´s konto einen größeren geldbetrag, fährt ab und zu vorbei und zockt ein bisschen unmotiviert herum (d.h. nicht viel einsetzen) ein paar wochen später überweisst man man dann sein casino geld auf privatkonto. und weil dann ja auf dem kontoauszug steht "staatliche spielbank yx" hat man seine kohle elegant gewaschen. mit staatlicher hilfe. |
