5741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [WTS] 200 xrp accounts with 20xrp in each - $75 for all. on: September 10, 2019, 03:41:36 AM

BTW I got tons of such wallets ,when there were given away loaded with free with 50 xrp in each wallet
Good Luck !
I guess the OP got same 50 XRP from where they're trying to give out 2xrp. The truth remains that a lot of people (including me) don't think Ripple amounts to much. Make this a free Litecoin or ETH giveaway and then watch the crowd or queue in here.
5742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Massive $1 Billion Bitcoin Whale Transaction Makes Waves on: September 09, 2019, 04:03:33 AM
What is the significance of tracking such huge transaction ?
It just goes to show that the crypto industry is a highly speculative one. The only reason traders do that which is quoted is so as to monitor what the big hodlers/whales are doing in order to garner trading decisions. Fundamentals/news are the major driving force in cryptocurrency and shouldn't be overlooked.
5743  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: It is time to change the crypto space once and for all! on: September 09, 2019, 03:47:16 AM
Even if OP makes the whole idea of Bitcoin and the  blockchain into a cartoon that could be easily explained, noobs who aren't ready to task themselves on reading will still find it difficult to grasp. I think those who are ready to learn have a way of equipping themselves. You should've seen how complex this was when cryptocurrency newly debuted. It's simpler now to be honest.
5744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My greatest crypto regret on: September 08, 2019, 10:48:45 PM
Probably not buying lots of bitcoin while it was very cheap during the time I know of this stuff. Well this regret will not be happened again on some other coins that has potential out there. I think many also did regret with same reasons but we must move on.
The problem is, how do you recognize these coins with potentials? How? The truth is that no one actually knows this. We only speculate. Even the early Bitcoin hodlers didn't know Bitcoin would amount to something this great a few years down the line. And I believe some of the early adopters regret not having as much Bitcoin as Satoshi mapped out for himself. Life is just that way and for that reason I don't want to dwell on regret because it always hurts whenever I try to remember my past mistake in this industry.
5745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The Agony Of Bounty Hunters on: September 08, 2019, 10:38:03 PM
I do not do this every day, but last night I checked all my bounty hunting files from social media, signature and article marketing, I am very disappointed, only 5% of my bounty campaigns proved to be successful, what I mean successful is it's worth the profit after many months of the campaign.

One disappointing side of it is the projects that I thought are legit are the one that turns out to be scams and the project that I thought will not turn out to be good turns to be profitable.

Things are not good in bounty campaign at this point of time, what proves to be a source of excitement to bounty hunters is now the agony of bounty hunters
This is sadly true but then that's how life generally is - Don't expect fairness from life. I have had occasions where I found myself in similar situation. I guess that's what hunters like us face from time to time because the Altcoins section of this forum isn't properly moderated to weed out scam and shitty projects. But we also have to be careful on our part selecting bounties we participate in to avoid futility at the end.
5746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB time to invest ? on: September 08, 2019, 10:29:38 PM
I don't think you should invest in BNB now, because recently this token has started to fall in price and just in a couple of days has fallen very much
I don't think there is anything wrong with the little price drop in Binance coin. It's the necessary correction the market throws up from time to time. Now is a good time to buy in, considering the potential this coin has and the much confidence in its exchange. It's a buy buy now, except you want to regret not buying cheap now.
5747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] 💲 BlockSafe Technologies 💲 1 BSAFE token = 0.50 USD on: September 08, 2019, 03:02:54 AM
This bounty ended on September 6th, 2019. Why are you dudes still submitting reports?
5748  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not ignore the small profits in Bitcoin investments. on: September 07, 2019, 05:55:35 AM
A lot of people make the same mistake by being too greedy, and ignoring the small profits and not using the proven recipe for success in Bitcoin by buying low and selling high...

Let's say you had enough money to buy 1 whole Bitcoin when the price was at it's lowest in Mar '19 <$3000+> and sold in May '19 <$8600>, then you would have more than doubled your initial investment. <You could have doubled any investment amount, because the amount does not determine your profit, I just use 1 bitcoin as an example to make it easier to understand.>
Except on hindsight, there's no way anyone would accurately predict where price will go to in this industry. Even OP doesn't know this, otherwise they would be making a great fortune from that opportunity. It's the fear of the unknown that makes anyone hodl or hoard when they should be selling off to buy later at a cheaper rate and to make more profit. So, I don't think it's greed per se.
5749  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bad time to get into daytrading? on: September 07, 2019, 04:54:49 AM
I've been studying day trading crypto on and off for about a year. Everyday i'll go into 10 or 20 coins mark their supports and resistances to get really familiar with reading charts. I've studied candlesticks, trading patterns and a lot of indicators. I'll put up a few of the indicators and go through past markets to check how they reacted previously. I then try and predict which way a coin is going. I make notes of where i would get in and get out to see if it was real what sorta success I would have.  I seemed to have it done alright so thought i would have a go with real money. I put a few hundred pounds in and the first few days i think I was very sporadic and kept trying to put money in everywhere i thought i saw something. It didn't go too well. This week I calmed down and said i'd only do a few trades a day where I really concentrated and really thought it out. Every time I put my money in it would start to go well, all the indicators pointed to success then all of a sudden it would plummet out of nowhere. I'm wondering is this a bad market to start learning to day trade in or do I just need more practice. Also any tips?
What you struggle to explain here is called Technical Analysis (TA for short). And yes, no time is a bad time to get into a trade. However, you must take note of prevailing market circumstances and dynamics before getting into a trade. This is where another issue called the Fundamental Analysis or News comes in. You must not just read the charts alone, news is very vital when it comes to trading. And in crypto industry, news is Highly Important! If you're going to buy a coin for instance because your charts or TA points to that direction but the news is telling you that the same coin has been revealed to be a scam that morning or that the police are clamping down on the developers, what do you think will happen to that coin?

Of course, it will plummet and down the price will go.
5750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Brandt: 99% of Altcoins Will Be Forgotten in Five Years on: September 06, 2019, 05:06:47 AM
FYI:
ZEIT will be the Last Coin Standing. Wink
That's an unsolicited plug for Zeit. But then I checked your signature and volla! You're wearing the ZEIT logo. So, I ain't surprised really. However, looking at the Peter Brandt picture and seeing his face reinforced my belief not to trust old people when it comes to cryptocurrency. They actually know next to nothing. Did he say 99%? Gosh!
5751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥 [ANN] [INFT] Infinito - Creating the best blockchain experience 🔥 on: September 04, 2019, 11:41:10 PM
I have downloaded Infinito wallet, it looks like this wallet will compete with trust wallet. UI is very interesting, and my friend suggested this infinito wallet to receive a token-based EOS. 15% for community and bounty? Can't wait this campaign.
Don't be too sure they're going to run a bounty campaign if it isn't listed here. Not all projects do it.
5752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: THANOS TOKEN IS HERE - WITH 50% BURN EFFECT! on: September 04, 2019, 11:34:00 PM
The mods should go ahead and lock this thread to avoid what may end up being a scam.
5753  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Read Crypto Charts on: September 04, 2019, 04:21:00 PM
Nice lesson on the chart system. I think the first graphic could also have candlestick maybe one way of the other, added to the graph. For a learner, candlestick is usually the thing to watch in learning a chart.
Even more experienced traders do find bar charts self explanatory because the candlestick movement are easy to understand. Your suggestion is apt. Besides that, the art of emotion mastery should be outlined as a prerequisite for trading successfully. It isn't just about charts alone.
5754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the future HODL? on: September 04, 2019, 01:09:49 PM
Unfortunately, there is a very small portion of the community that belongs to 'Do Not Trade Your Freedom' group. The majority doesn't care. Imagine this, Jack hears about bitcoins from his neighbor next door and keeps hearing things like bitcoin make people rich. Jack googles 'buy bitcoins' and he is convinced to buy it from coinbase or other 100 other shitty exchanges. All jack cares about is doubling his money.
But really, isn't this what people generally do in business? I mean, you put in money to make more money at the expense of whatever passion that may be in the business. I read a lot of people here say they aren't into Bitcoin for money/profit and I don't believe this to be absolute truth. Passion without finance won't see the light of the day.
5755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to Bring Water to Ethiopia on: September 04, 2019, 08:10:53 AM
I think we need to stop drawing water from under the ground, it is causing some major problems, and increasing desertification. The Chinese are starting to provide desalination plants, and this would seem to be a better solution. It provides a pretty marginal reduction in sea levels, but more importantly, it starts to replace the groundwater, and can lead to reforestation if managed correctly.
The earth is suspended on water. Drawing from the ground seems plausible, especially where the borehole option is mostly available to Africa (Ethiopia is in Africa).

I see your site wants you to login with Social media accounts and that might be an option that some people would want to avoid. Staying anonymous, helps people to prevent situations where information about them might get into the wrong hands <scammers> and that they might get bombarded with fake sites that wants "donations" for fake projects.  Angry
I also observed that too and wondered if a fresh account would get an attention when it has to do with monetary donations. But I think the OP is getting attention already. It's a welcome development.
5756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO and IEO running at same time for same project on: September 03, 2019, 05:09:27 PM
With the introduction of IEO, there is a great reduction in holding ICO  by the projects.
Even though this is the situation, now a days I have observed that some projects are holding ICO as well as IEO same time. They also don't share the exact amount of funds raised
Isn't it confusing for investors? What are your thoughts? Why projects are using both methods?
I make it a point of duty to keep away from any project simultaneously holding ICO and IEO. For me it looks like a scam. The greed that drives some devs makes them do uncanny things such as that and investors should he weary of them.
5757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The best exchange in 2019? on: September 03, 2019, 04:11:13 PM
for now bitmax, binance, bitfinex, bitmex, okex are pretty good and the rest don't believe because most are fake volumes, but from the list I mentioned, I chose bitmax and binance because they are easy to use and the volume is very good.
The way the 'B's are taking the shine off other exchanges is quite commendable. I remember when I joined this industry in 2017, it used to be Bittrex, Poloniex and Coinexchange dominating the scene. Now the aforementioned seem distant with low volumes threatening their survival. Fast forward to the present, I will choose Binance above any other exchange at the moment. Its ease of navigation on the platform is encouraging and user friendly.
5758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Calm Before The Storm on: September 03, 2019, 03:08:38 PM
Note: Don't get too excited just yet. This is only for Germany(currently, at least). https://cointelegraph.com/news/burger-king-lets-you-pay-your-way-in-germany-with-bitcoin

Anyway, while there are a few big companies in the past like Steam that removed their bitcoin payments option, if you're actually watching bitcoin related news for a while, it's easy to notice that adoption is in a steady uptrend(with a few dips here and there and a few drops due to price volatility).
Why shouldn't we get excited over this...Lol. We all should. It's a great development towards mass adoption. At least after China banned Bitcoin in error and we survived it. Anything pointing towards straightening Bitcoin is a welcome development. Believe me, the Chinese govt will regret its 2017 action when finally adoption is achieved.
5759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old Bounties VS New Bounties on: September 03, 2019, 12:07:42 PM
They both have their advantages and disadvantages

Old Bounties
1.You will have more confidence promoting the project because there is more higher chances of getting paid.
2. You can keep for long term since theyve been around for awhile so you dont have to worry about project exiting scam anytime.
3. They are already listed on many exchanges and you dont have to hold them in your wallets for a very long time like many new projects
4.Payouts and rewards are extremely very low,ive earned 10$ for promoting a old bounty project for weeks.

New Bounties
1. New bounties are plague with one delay after another.
2. You might hold tokens or coins for more than a year due to not getting listed on exchanges very soon
3. The tokens or coins might be useless or find out the project is scam since many new projects are mostly scam or shit projects
4. Lots of work is required when doing research on new projects than already existing old projects
5. New bounties always brings the highest profits as per details derived from hunters.

What do you guys have to say about my post? Am i making any sense or not?
Your points are clearly noted and I quite agree with your assessment. In addition however, I will go for new projects. It's a greater risk but it pays far more than old projects if it succeeds. I like that kind of risk than engaging in risk free adventure with deplorable pay like most bounties paying in Bitcoin do.
5760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are airdrops safe? on: September 03, 2019, 11:15:00 AM
The way they usually work is they give you some string and you sign it to prove you own the address.

Could a malicious air drop make a transaction sending all your BTC to them, and then you sign it, and then they broadcast it to the network?
Or is signing a message different than signing a transaction?
Avoid any airdrop that asks you to do such. There is something not right about such an arrangement. It is insidious and may likely cause you regret. The most an airdrop can ask for is your wallet address where the crypto can be sent to, and not that you should sign it to prove ownership. BTW, airdrops aren't worth it anymore. Most coins given out this way always end up as shitcoins.
