5761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Alert] Scam attempt in the name of gambling house and moderator on: July 06, 2020, 02:43:43 PM
They planned it all to execute their scam as soon as you take their bait. Thanks for sharing it here for the others to be aware with this. that cloning of the username of the members here might attract some newbies to follow those steps which will eventually lead them to disaster. there are lots of these offers on telegram which is now the center of the social media of most of the crypto gamblers and investors that's why they are using it now as they used on the emails.
5762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you hide your identity with bitcoin? (100%) on: July 06, 2020, 02:20:28 PM
Everyone in the community except for the few members is doing that right now, hiding their own identity including our boss Theymos. The only thing they can find is the place where that IP address will lead them but if someone is using some proxy or any other browsers to hide identities, it will only lead you to some fake addresses. It's really easy to hide your identity at some point but if the one tracing you is master in this field, you might get tracked but I tell you it's not that easy though.
5763  Other / Off-topic / Re: Don't regret about your past mistake & Don't go against common sense. on: July 05, 2020, 03:06:13 PM
Instead, we can use our past mistakes to make it right the next time we will make some decisions. That's why we have this thing called "Move on" so that we will start another journey again by not repeating those mistakes we've made. sometimes mistakes can get us to somewhere we don't expect. The truth is, I only found this community after I lost my funds on some scam cloud mining site. I didn't use my common sense back then, because I thought what I was reading about cloud mining was true that it will give me some passive income which turned to scam later on. So I tried to find some more information and finally bring me to this site. after I landed here almost 3 years ago, everything was going right for me.
5764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 05, 2020, 02:33:26 PM
Another day another bad news again, Third Miami Heat player tests positive for coronavirus - report

3 players were positive with covid-19 so far for the Miami heat.

1st- Derrick Jones Jr.
2nd-Not identified
3rd- Not identified

But there's a good news about Derrick Jones Jr.

Quote
Jones is looking to rejoin the team when the NBA restarts its season at Disney Resort in Orlando, but the other two players will not make the trip, according to reports.

This is bad news for the Miami Heat, the game hasn't been resume yet and they faced this new problem. I mean, how will the other players in the team adjust with this? I think without those two players the games will not be the same as usual. They haven't named them yet they might be from the starters. I hope they can still play with all their best despite of this new problem.
5765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FOX prepared to add virtual fans and crowd noise to NFL broadcasts on: July 05, 2020, 02:00:29 PM

i'll admit, when i first read about this stuff, that's what came to mind---repetitive/boring effects like playstation and dreamcast era madden and nba 2k. but it's not 1999 anymore. CGI and sound effects have come a long way. the scope of spectator activity will be exponentially bigger now.

just watch this reel and tell me you aren't impressed: https://www.themill.com/stories/our-cg-crowds-reel-is-here/

Yeah, You're right, the 21st-century version of virtual fans looks fantastic and have almost the same atmosphere with the real fans.  I think this pandemic has brought us something that we don't use to see every day including this one. people always come with some fantastic ideas of alternatives regardless of what we are facing today. this is the good time to try these kind of stuff and I think this would work like some real ones.

5766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My hardware wallet was seized by US customs. on: July 05, 2020, 01:37:40 PM
This is something we do not hear every day, thanks for sharing it with us. I think there are two possibilities here. the first one according to what you said, was checked by the customs to see if there was some huge amount of BTC inside that hardware wallet and might using it for money laundering. the second one is someone might want to see if that wallet is holding a huge amount of BTC so that they can get it with some force and will think of a way to get it from you. In this case, I think it's not safe to send our own wallet in this way.
5767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty managers can do better on: July 03, 2020, 03:01:49 PM

I've had live video chat with projects that turned out to be a scam in the end. What's your point?
The thing is, many projects start legit, and once they see that it's not going well, they take what's left and run away, basically scamming even their own team members...

This answers your request OP and I think this should be valid since btcltcdigger is one the veteran bounty manager you can find in this community. I have joined some of his bounties last 2018 and some of them didn't turn well as expected. As you can see, they also doing their best to promote the best bounty out there but scammers always find a way to fool these guys, I think every bounty manager in this community has encountered this kind of problem and learned from those experiences.
5768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some college students in Alabama bet money to see who gets COVID19 first on: July 03, 2020, 02:21:14 PM
This is horrible, what's wrong with the world today? instead of helping everyone to combat this deadly virus, they found some way to entertain themselves with horrifying acts. these people, if they are really true to their motives, they need to be caught and sentenced to prison as soon as possible and also they need to send these guys to somewhere in the middle of the desert or to the worse prison in the world.
5769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: July 02, 2020, 02:31:56 PM
Public losing trust on Wilder?
If a fighter is refusing to accept defeat and start blaming on his outfit you think that the public would rally behind that fighter. Wilder was too confident in his punching power and he was arrogant moving up the division and everyone was banking on his knockout capability and Fury showed that punching power does not actually mean anything if you are not having technique and how can anyone vouch for Wilder after watching two fights.

Yeah, veterans move will always prevail especially when set up beautifully.  I remember when Erik Morales fought a newbie contender whos boxing career was shining that year, Morales gives a hell of a lesson when he takes all of Morales's veterans shot. this is the same as the Fury vs Wilder fight, I think most of the punch that wilder takes came from unexpected angles where he didn't have some idea how to defend it. He must not underestimate fury's skill or he might end up losing this upcoming 3rd match again.

Glanced at it, I am impressed but

How do the scam-alert.io collect, verify comments, tags from community before releasing final tags and comments on bitcoin addresses? Are you sure that they can make released tags, comments are real, and exact ones? I see FUDs behind tags and comments and there are something never good with FUDs.

You can check their email here and maybe send a message regarding your question. I believe they are the only ones who can answer that question. here it is: scamalert@whale-alert.io

I think this is one of the most useful sites you should know because it provides some information on how scams work in the Crypto industry. They also listed some scammer's BTC addresses that had been involved in crimes for us to avoid and a search engine where to check if BTC address has been used by scammers or not. You can check some unknown BTC addresses if it's involved in the scam activity and report some new ones.

You can search it like this: Note below I used my BTC address to see how it will work and it turned out mine was fine and hasn't been used for anything malicious.

But if the BTC address has been used by scammers, the result will be like this.

The site has also listed some top BTC addresses that have been used by scammers. You can see it by scrolling down.

The common scams are:

and finally, you can read some tips on how to avoid those scammers.

Just head straight to the site to check more details about it.

5773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think players can play properly against a recovered Covid-19 opponent? on: July 02, 2020, 12:39:03 PM
I don't know if they still let those players play even though they are fully recovered now. If this will turned bad, the game will be postponed again and will be suspended for another month because they need to check everyone whether they are asymptomatic or not. especially for the NBA games which will resume in the few weeks. I think they won't let those players play because of the risk it might bring to the others and to the association. imagine if someone gets infected by the other recovered player after a few games, I think that would automatically suspended the game again.
5774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Undo button for transactions on: July 02, 2020, 12:13:09 PM
Very complicated.
Much easier solution would be to have some easy way to double check and confirm address of recipient before sending.
One way would also be to save this address in wallet addressbook before sending it.

I always do this thing whenever I'm about to send some BTC to another address. I think every BTC holders have developed this idea of double-checking before sending BTC. No need for the undo button, instead, we must not forget this very important step. If you ask me, I've been doing it for the last 5 years of my journey in the crypto industry, and never in my life I have sent BTC in the wrong address.
5775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lesson plans about Bitcoin achieved on: July 01, 2020, 03:25:23 PM
You can always talk about the advantages of BTC nowadays and some hodling facts just don't forget to tell them the Volatility of the price in the market. which is the most important thing they should know before thinking to buy some BTC. some people forget this crucial information to tell those who want to learn about BTC until they already lost some high percentage of their investment due to the sudden fall of the market or what we called it Bearish trend. If they only knew about it, they could have to stop themselves from investing too much. I read some topics where he messes up with his grandma's savings. after he invested it all, the price went down and all he did was posted it here blaming everyone that no one tells him about the volatility of the price.
5776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: July 01, 2020, 02:55:59 PM

I think all the matches are treated like that because we don't want the spread to continue and we as big sports fans will certainly take advantage of virtual online as they watch the game. I think this will become a habit if we continue.

My area also applies the same thing so whatever we have to enjoy to watch it and believe me it will return to normal after everything has recovered we will be free to go see the match.

Even the American Got talent has no audience when I watched it earlier I think every show and the game match will have this kind of setting since the pandemic still ongoing. I'm fine with this since we have lots of sources to watch some sport matches and game shows. You're right after everything is fine, we can watch every match we want and go to the cinemas too.

5778  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Plagiarism in newbies on: July 01, 2020, 01:58:33 PM
Some veterans members have fallen victim to this kind of action when the banning spree has happened the last year. most of them have been banned because of plagiarism on some of their posts way back from their very first year in this community. Many of those users are now gone last year, you can see almost every day in META section asking everyone why are they got banned and when other users check the possible reason, it comes to the conclusion that the reason no other than plagiarism and that's an automatic permanent banned without some warnings. some others got some second chance but for those who had contributed to the forum. the others are permanently gone.
5779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 01, 2020, 01:08:06 PM

Kawhi and Kobe for the legend edition, anyone? Cheesy

I go for the Kobe version in the legend edition since this might be his last cover in NBA game to remember him well. I'm sure most of the gamers will do the same if they can only afford to buy one. We can say this is our way to support him even he is no longer around. Kobe is indeed a legend no NBA players will play like him.

5780  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New ransomware variant targeting Mac OS users on: July 01, 2020, 12:37:06 PM
There are only few people who uses Mac OS here but still, this information would really help a lot. Mac users should avoid installing any suspicious apps from unknown sources because nowadays, programs like this are known to be used by hackers to steal data from PC users. I always watch some videos on Youtube on how these things used by hackers to fool people for paying them for their so-called PC technical support.

You can watch them here: https://www.youtube.com/c/JimBrowning/videos

This man is known to fool those filthy scammers, you will enjoy watching him fooling them.
