5761  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is Declining? And What’s Next? on: August 11, 2019, 10:57:21 AM
I think there are times it declines and there are times it increases so it is still important to ask why it declined even if it went up. I mean when it was declining we were all speculating and when it went up we are like "well it is not declining, it went up", of course it did but why did it went down in the first place.

You all do realize that when bitcoin is bought and went up if the people who sold all their coins and dropped the price didn't do that we would have been higher right now? I mean when it was 13k and people sold the price went down and it rarely ever went back there, if people didn't sold at that time all these buys since that time would have put on top of it and we would have been over 20k right now. It is a sad reality that sellers are causing us all these problems.
5762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: August 11, 2019, 10:27:42 AM
There are people who do it on games of skill and not games of luck. I have personally met with someone who was a professional poker player and he has been making his money from poker for about 6 years now.

He first started with pokerstars where he knew how to play poker a bit and played there but he was still a novice and didn't really play good enough to make a living. Then he kept on losing money gambling all day everyday to get better because it was 1 cent 2 cent bids and that was basically nothing, he lost maybe 50 bucks a day at his worst days but usually came close to break even most of the time, it took him maybe a thousand dollars at most for a year and eventually he started to get better by reading and talking and studying the game.

Now, he is not making huge amounts of money from regular games, he just attends tournaments and even though he doesn't win most of them, one or two big tourney wins is enough to live for a whole year since rewards are huge.
5763  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: August 09, 2019, 05:47:51 PM
How the hell do you turn 240 into 9889, I mean obviously by gambling Cheesy but really 240 ripple is about 70 dollars and of course there are people who gamble with thousands of dollars so I am not shocked that someone gambled away 70 bucks, that is common and its not really the news here. However how do you really throw away your 70 bucks on something that has such a low amount of chance to win?

I know he won and that is amazing but there was a HUGE chance he would lose all of it as well, it just didn't happen out of luck but 70 bucks on such a low odds is basically "here take my money casino" in any other circumstance. He has the balls of steel and I applaud him for it, not something many people can accomplish, not just the win but also the braveness to throw that money like that.
5764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How I lost 200,000 EURO on Bitcasino.io on: August 09, 2019, 03:39:25 PM
Game-protect lives on these kinds of topics, he loves it when someone loses money, think about it who profits from getting you to lose and who profits from scamming you?

If a casino was a scammer and they scammed you then they will be known as a scamming website and they will not get any more customers and whatever they have made from you will be the last money they made, so they will basically lose their job and even though they have a lot of money that is just tip of the iceberg for a real good casino, without scamming anyone you can keep printing money forever so they literally have no interest in scamming you because they want to be known as a good place in order to keep making ton of money in legit ways.

However, game-protect wants it to be scam, he wants you to lose all your money, if all casinos are legit and good then we need no game-protect, hence he wishes you to be scammed, he wants you to be scammed, he is happy when you are scammed, do your own calculations based on that.
5765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What messenger do you use to chat with your crypto gambling buddies? on: August 08, 2019, 05:44:36 PM
Definitely telegram, first of all the good part about telegram is that many people who are in crypto uses telegram because it doesn't require you to give your phone number to anyone. So, that leaves whatsapp aside, you can't use whatsapp since it requires you to give your phone number.

Now that leaves discord and slack left, well slack is more for startups and business' mindset so people do not use that neither that is aside. That leaves discord and that is purely for gaming, other stuff are talked there as well but its known for its gaming platform. Hence, telegram is the best place for bitcoin and crypto related stuff.

Plus, I do not have a telegram "gambling buddies chat" group or something but we can find crypto related groups there all the time and there will be people who like to gamble there as well where you become friends.
5766  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the main advantages and disadvantages of your crypto exchange? on: August 08, 2019, 05:01:29 PM
I use coin swith and they have 0.5% fees. but I don't like it, because I think this is a lot. for example, changelly has 0.25% fees. on the other hand, cs supports more than 400 coins and changelly just 150. Which one is better to use? and what is you exchange?
Haven’t you heard of Binance, if you have not, then you have been missing and wasting money for too long, why is that exchange so greedy to have been charging 0.5%, when many people are even complaining of that 0.25% as being too over charged.

In Binance, there fees goes for as low as 0.1%, so if you really want some savings and you just don’t want to be making money for some dudes just because they own a platform, you have to move to Binance, they have very smooth platform and they are very user friendly, their customer support is very great and they still have a good security, but would advise you not to store your coin on their exchange or any exchange wallet because they are not fully saved, at least you can hear what happened to Binance of recent when they were hacked.
5767  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical Analysis Bullshit or Not? on: August 08, 2019, 04:19:03 PM
Interesting post (great for beginners) detailing 3 premises to understand what technical analysis is and how the crypto market works https://www.publish0x.com/crypto-chart-wizard/technical-analysis-bullshit-or-not-xlzvwm
Technical analysis is not a bullshit and it is very effective for those that knows how to learn it, the reason why some people feel technical Analyses is bullshit is because it is too complicated to understand, so you end up not being able to read the charts very well, except that you are a pro chart reader, so TA is okay, but it does not always work in every market.

I feel that it is very difficult to apply technical Analyses to the cryptocurrency market, I prefer to apply technical analysis when I am trading on Forex market because Forex market is quite stable for TA to perform very well, and if you look at cryptocurrency market, there are too many coins and it even only functions more for those top coins, for me, I would not rely on TA alone but mix it with fundamental analysis which I prefer more.
5768  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If it's all so fragile, what's the point? on: August 07, 2019, 09:59:39 AM
You have to fully understand that cryptocurrency market is too volatile and this is why trading through it is quite difficult, but as volatile as it may look, that is exactly what makes it more profitable than other trading market, and if you are to trade in this crypto market, you have to first ensure that you have the patience and then also keep greed at home, or else, no matter the skill or strategy you have, impatience and greed will knock them off. And like you said, trading is so fragile, and you have to just handle it like an egg.

Handling trading is to ensure that all the necessary risk tools that is needed to properly manage the risk is activated for your trade to eliminate any form of risk that may be present in the market while trading. I checked through your rules and they are still quite fair to me, I think you just need to work on more strategies.
5769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I've lost on: August 07, 2019, 08:41:42 AM
I lost all hope after waiting forever and gambled it on bitcoin gambling sites trying to triple it up, just to make my money back.
Well wrong decision. You lost hope because BTC went down to $4k. Now can you see it's going towards $13k again? Current price is: 12,200 and we will see a new ATH high either end of this year or sometimes in the next one or two years. Impatience is what lose us.

Sorry that you had no clue what you did and ended up to this loss.
I can’t blame him for this decision, the only mistake was to put the money into gambling. Majority of us didn’t envisage bitcoin would bounce back so soon, when it went down to 4k I was particularly very discouraged. Even though I trusted bitcoin so well and knew it was just a phase and would definitely go up but the need to get money would not allow patience prevail. I also withdrew mine for other business that wasn’t so much profitable but I still have regrets and just see what bitcoin is now.

What I have seen with bitcoin is, it requires a lot of patience.  I don’t think Bitcoin is for everyone, those who do not have the understanding will keep on making mistakes like the OP and me.
5770  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or LTC ? on: August 06, 2019, 07:25:06 PM
Just trade the top coins. Seems "something" is just trying to suck life out of Altcoins but the top ones are not being affected that much.
You may trade litecoin too but I can guarantee you that litecoin will disappoint you many times but it usually end up rewarding  patient holders

Litecoin is a good investment but the bear market has made this coin not get the best growth during the past time. Now Litecoin is making a very good comeback in the last 2 months and the investment in this coin will certainly bring a lot of profit in the near future if the value of Bitcoin can be stable at $12,000. I have personally held many LTC the bear market and will continue to hold until the LTC reaches $200 by the end of this year.
Litecoin use to be a very good investment, but ever since they lost their value to the last bear market that all cryptocurrencies list their value to, it has been difficult for them to make a comeback like some few other coins too and I think Litecoin and some few top coins are only where they are now because of the dominance of bitcoin, I am waiting for the period where all these altcoins will make a dominance of their own without having to rely much in bitcoin for their growth of value.

That makes me think that at the moment, there is no pint wasting time trading altcoins, to me, it is still better for people to trade bitcoin because that is where all the happenings are really, the volume, trades and other things that will make one profitable in one’s trade.
5771  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Local bitcoin trading site doing KYC NOW on: August 06, 2019, 06:50:27 PM
Traders decreasing from where? How can that happen because of KYC.
I dint think so, It is just based on assumption that we think KYC is decreasing the number of users day by day, who caress about KYC from a system that is given one money, is just like me looking for a job now and they ask for KYC, do you think I would reject it, no I won’t do that, I will only ensure that the job is a genuine one.

Some months back, I could hear the sound of many people crying out loud for regulation, if cryptocurrency was to be regulated, do you know that one of the most in the regulation would be KYC, so I really don’t see why we should have issue with it. KYC is something that is beyond our control and there is no amounts of negativity we speak about it that will change it from being required because it is a government own policy.
5772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Habit of Giving Up Is Just An Escape on: August 06, 2019, 06:12:51 PM
It is better they leave than to stay in the market and keep gathering the fund, because it is at that point that they have gathered enough they start thinking of how to scam and run away with the money, at least they are still better than those that would stay, gather the money and then when they enter the exchange market, they dump the coin and then still give an excuse of either investors dumping or bounty hunters dumping, meanwhile it is not true, they are the ones that dumped just to exit the market, thereby using the excuse I mentioned above.

It is better that we eliminate lazy and people who are not pushy from the market at this early stage, so encouraging them now is just like inviting more dead projects to be giving birth to.
5773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is There A point To still Hold Litecoin As An Investment? on: August 06, 2019, 04:17:58 PM
Although there is nothing much exciting about Litecoinfor now, and even the halving that I relied on had no effect on Litecoin, it was just as if the halving was made for bitcoin, instead of Litecoin surging, it was bitcoin that responded instead, and if not for the increase of bitcoin, Litecoin may not have seen its recent little increase.

I think if you are to hold Litecoin, it would be wise to just hold half of what you have right now and probably put the remaining half into bitcoin, although I am feeling that the altcoins season would be here soon, so alternatively, you could just hold it and wait for the altcoins season to come and increase the little it can increase, then you withdraw the whole altcoins before it goes back to bear market and keep you wondering for another long years.
5774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 06, 2019, 11:04:34 AM
Why in the world do youngsters like Saini get carried away when they perform well? These kinds of players will probably never make it big in the Cricketing world thanks to their own stupidity. Lots of potential, but there isn't any point if you can't control your emotions.
It is just part of game and their celebrations but I am sure new players will slowly learn how to behave on international stages. There had been many players who had failed in their entire career to groom, if you remember the incident of Munaf patel's clash against umpires in an IPL match which ended his international chances but it is too early to conclude on this young man. Usually blowers behave rude out of emotions but everything should be complying within code of conduct and players who realize these survives and finds success at least in team selection process.
5775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: August 06, 2019, 07:05:44 AM
We know that lottery has attracting many people to buy the ticket with a very low price so they can buy a lot of tickets and hope that one of their tickets can win the money, any money. But the truth is that the lottery is pure base on the luck so we are difficult to see we can win the money even to win the jackpot. We all too greedy to buy a lot of tickets and we spent too much money because we think that lottery can give fast money to us, but the reality is just a game that needs the luck to win.
Indeed right, the lottery game is based on luck and it is hard for anyone acquiring the massive amount of the prize pool on a lottery. The odds are low chances and the value of tickets to purchase is very cheap. That's why people that want to rich quick are hoping and dreaming that someday they will hit the prize pool of lottery and live happily ever after and an early retirement once you hit the jackpot prize. Well, we can't blame that there are some gamblers must they choose lottery than other gamble game.
I have a contrary belief, I am not really into lotteries because of how cheap it is and I belief I would still do it if it was way more expensive. The reason I would choose lottery is because I understand its strictly a game of chance and I am quite so optimist that luck would always be on my side and even though I do not win instantly, I could keep on playing believing that the time is just not ripe for me.

This cannot be compared to other games that you have to put in a lot of skills, research and also more money and at the end of the game still get fucked up because the house is always the winner. That’s bullshit. Rather stay on a game that you know its complete luck based. No manipulation whatsoever, this is my pure reason why I choose lottery and would again choose it over  all forms of gambling.
5776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: August 06, 2019, 06:00:03 AM
Don't gamble while you are intoxicated, for obvious reasons judgement is impaired and you will be reckless with how you play.
This is against my motto of gambling. I do gambling for entertaining myself and I do have the habit of having multiple fun simultaneously. Yes, I do drink regardless of I gamble in physical casino or dicing online. I do bet on my favorite sports by watching the live matches along with alcohol and cheer girls.

All these are possible for me because I do gamble for fun and in sportsbetting I do place my bets before start drinking.

I agree drinking and gambling is not a recommended way of gambling yet you may go for it ONLY if you do not care about what returns you are making out of your bankroll. It would be complete foolishness to gamble for both fun and profits at a same time. Target either one at a time.
5777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Maximum bet amount on single bet! on: August 06, 2019, 05:23:54 AM
gambling should not become a habit that's why I'm thinking to abandon it completely (or may be I should gamble when I feel like doing so, like you said).

I got lucky few days ago, and made 14 eos from 0.50 eos, didn't withdraw anything and lost it all.

Then yesterday made like 5 eos profit, withdrew 3 eos, played with remaining 2, lost it.

Today played with last three and lost it as well.

Now, I guess, I should just leave it. Lol!
I would like to say that you should not consider quitting as an option at all. There’s no habit that cannot be controlled. Have you forgotten the saying that winners are not quitters and quitters are never winners??? So bro, get back on your feet and think about how you can master your games and as well avoid all gambling contradictory habits if you discover any.

I think for every loss in gambling, there is always a mistake that might likely affect the next games. You actually made that first mistake of not withdrawing that first 14 eos , probably the first lost affected you in playing subsequent games. I never play with so much money and the good thing is that the little I play with brings me back profit.
5778  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy or sell? on: August 05, 2019, 06:32:06 PM
As we noticed the price volatility of Bitcoin when it reached ($13k, the highest price for this year at the moment) and then suddenly the price drops at $9k.

And today bitcoin price is about $9,900. So I'm just wondering 🤔 is it now the great time to buy bitcoin or should I sell? Can you give me some of your opinions? Thanks in advance. 😁
Everything depends on your goal and target, if your goal is to make money off bitcoin in a short term, then you can sell straight away but if your goal is to stay with bitcoin for a long term and witness more increase in the value, then you would not be making the wrong decision because I must tell you that bitcoin value still has lots of great increase to make.

whatever figure you see now, is just a shadow of what bitcoin value will really be in future, and when I talk of future, I am not talking of 1 or 2 years, I am talking of 10 years and more, even before tat 10 years, you would have been thankful for making the decision because I am sure that within the next 10 years, bitcoin might have increased to $100k, and no matter the bear market then, it will never go below $50k.
5779  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the bitcoin price prediction for 2020? on: August 05, 2019, 05:29:00 PM
Any bitcoin price prediction for 2020

any experts price predictions??

I am positive that bitcoin will go from $10K to $20K on the first month of 2020 if facebook Libra will launch at the end of the year 2019. Bitcoin's popularity sure will be boom and a lot of non-believers are going to buy. Libra is the best piece of crypto so far in order to have more marketing strategy and be accepted by society.
Why? do you have to tie thee bitcoin development to Facebook Libra coin that may never see the light of the day? Was Facebook coin in existence when bitcoin reached $20k in the last all-time-high? There are so many factors that have been prepared and would contribute to the growth of bitcoin value in the coming bull run. Just barely some months back, we were in $4000, and bitcoin suddenly rose from that point to an unbelievable point from that moment.

So you should understand by now that the growth of bitcoin relies on positive factor and to me, Facebook is even one such coin that will bring negativity to the bitcoin because of its selfish ambition in trying to make Libra a global currency, there will be more marketing on Libra as whole and not the general cryptocurrency as whole.
5780  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy every dip! on: August 05, 2019, 04:19:34 PM
The only risk I can see and say was a mistake is when someone buys a coin at peak, and even with that, the money in never lost. Any investment in bitcoin is very safe. In as much as we have whales manipulating the market, we still have presence of strong investors too that knows how to drive the market forwarded, and no matter the time you buy bitcoin, it will still always be worth it future.

I am sure many people that see bitcoin as risky investment are those that invested in 2017 at peak price, but if you look at the rate at which the bitcoin technology is growing, they will see that their decision was still never a mistake or risky, they only got delayed a bit out of their timing mistake. The only risk that I see is when you trade on margin and that is the personal risk of such trader and not bitcoin generally.
