581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash Reaches 1500 USD on: November 12, 2017, 09:22:01 AM
Someone linked to this site earlier, https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions, I didn't even know what it was before today. Now in this thread I see people talking about massive amounts of coins being pumped in.

What coins are being pumped in? BTC?

When btc sells in massive amounts does that increase or decrease the value of other coins like bitcoin cash?

I noticed while looking at the site I linked to above, that within only just 30 seconds, you can see many transactions of 100+ bitcoins (in 1 transaction)!

Sorry for not doing my research, but I am overwhelmed with information and figured I could ask, since this is the best place for it Smiley
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is new BTC on: November 12, 2017, 09:08:31 AM
Forgive me I am new to crypto, but bitcoin is the father of all cryptocurrency. I don't think anything will ever be the "new" bitcoin, although we may eventually have something which is better suited for transactions (like Litecoin, Dash, Bitcoin Cash, etc.)... Bitcoin is what the rest of the market values itself against and is also the main crypto used in exchanges to purchase other crypto. For those reasons, I don't think it's ever going anywhere, but rather staying at the top. If anything climbs close, I would wager that BTC is getting ready to make a large leap forward. Who really knows though, this market is so new, nobody can predict what is going to happen in the future. I'm just taking guesses with about a month worth of knowledge under my belt. I learn fast, but this game is traveling at lighting speed.......
583  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Starting from $0... Is there any possible way to make some money within a month? on: November 12, 2017, 03:12:11 AM
I don't have any idea on how you could make some money immediately, but I have suggestion for mid-term planning.

You write pretty well. I guess you could set up a blog about cryptocurrency, maintain it for a few months then use it to participate in blog bounty campaign. Almost all ICO bounty is offering a blog campaign. You should rank up your account too so you can join a well paid signature campaign. You could earn as much as $100+ per week when you reached Hero Member rank by just making high quality forum posts, which I'm sure shouldn't be a problem for you.

This is great advice. I have been thinking of starting a blog about crypto. I'm still learning, but within another week or so I should be able to start writing about ICOs and the basics at least. I just completed my Fiverr account...it took me about 2 hours to do including posting my first gig. Hopefully this will all lead to somewhere.

Thanks for the great reply!
584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best airdropped token you ever received? on: November 12, 2017, 12:23:47 AM
Recently i received litecoin gold airdrop and sold it at 1.7 Eth. Best airdrop i have received so far...

Wow. That is a great score. I'm hoping some of these airdrops I am signing up to will be as valuable as yours was. Very nice!
585  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Starting from $0... Is there any possible way to make some money within a month? on: November 12, 2017, 12:00:39 AM
You have a good set of skills if you really actually know those stuff you listed. Try out Fiverr. Your gigs should be cheap at the start but the longer you do services, the higher your reputation becomes. Now with crypto, with zero knowledge, it's pretty much just like asking "how do I make money being a software developer with zero programming experience?". If you want to invest, earn the money in FIAT. Then use the money to buy cryptocurrencies.

Also, kick cancer's ass for us.

I have fallen out of the loop with freelancing over the years, but I'm now trying to get back in. I am making a Fiverr account in the next couple of minutes...kind of sad but I didn't even realize it was such a big freelance marketplace.

I have kicked cancer's ass before and I am in the process of doing it again!

Thanks a ton for the great replies!

Is there any possible way for a complete newbie to crypto that has practically 0 money to invest, to make some money, even over a month or two. I just want to make possibly $100 BTC so I can try turning it into something. I have spent probably 100+ hours researching ICOs and cryptocurrency in general and I am just having 0 luck getting in on anything because I just don't have any money to invest.

Hi, An. I'm new here, but I still wanna give tips that might be useful. Maybe u already know. If u've already researched for ICO like u said, u must be also have met airdrop program, because some ICO also runs airdrop. I think it's more worth it than faucets. U have "capital" as content creator, some airdrop asks their participants to promoting their project through social media, articles, design, translations and many more. besides Medium, u also can write on Steemit. Many people out there also starts from 0, following potential project.

If u talk about time, many airdrop also runs in a very tight-short time about 1-2 weeks. And in the 3rd week is distribution of the tokens. Means, in the 4th week we can trade the token to ETH if it's already tradable on exchanger. So many, possibilities and various type of airdrops, so try those might fits to you and ur ability.

Thank you for your reply. I agree that airdrops seem to be a great way to get into cryptocurrency. I have been spending a good deal of time researching and signing up for them. I hope that I get some new tokens during this upcoming week and that some of the tokens I have may be worth something in the future. The most I got so far was 15000 eREAL from their airdrop, but they don't seem to be worth much of anything right now. Here's to hoping!
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best airdropped token you ever received? on: November 11, 2017, 08:07:33 AM
Alot of scam airdrop this day, that get yu confuse,I receive postoken, quit profitable

Hah! I went and searched postoken and saw that they are worth about $.80 a piece and with a large airdrop that would be quite profitable. Only problem is that on their website you still get a "sign up for airdrop" button and form...only to be told once you have filled it out that the airdrop is over. Lol.
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best airdropped token you ever received? on: November 11, 2017, 07:51:19 AM
Just curious if anyone has had any luck in recent months with airdrops and what your all time best airdropped token was?

I understand that over the last few years people have scored a few times, but the market has been growing quite fast now, and it seems that airdropped tokens are usually not even worth a fraction of a penny. I follow the airdrop thread on here and have been lucky to get in on 4 so far in the last 3 weeks.

Thoughts?

In recent months, nothing good has been distributed. Decred and Byteball are the best airdrops of all time. All that is now being heard is a scam.

Pretty sure that NOT everything being airdropped right now is a scam... That being said, I wonder which airdrops we will look back at in a year from now and say "Wow! Glad I got in on that one!"...

On that note, does anyone have any advice to which upcoming airdrops may be great ones to get in on?

If you do content creation, might I suggest creating an account with Medium, finding an ICO you're interested in and writing about it, then approach someone from that ICO for a bounty to post it? At worst you help your portfolio but maybe they will see the value in your post and extend you a bounty.

That just reminded me to log in to my Digital Point account. I have had an account there since 2011, but couldn't remember my old email and login info for the longest time. For some crazy reason, out of nowhere, I just remembered it. I was able to login, change my email to the one I use now and bam. Maybe I can get some work from there...but thanks for the suggestion, you totally helped me out by reminding me of Digital Point. THANKS! Smiley

I don't mind working for it, please give me some advice.

Like I said before I can build websites, do some graphic design, write articles, and even do some pretty decent promotion through social media.

Keep trying, Anthony, keep trying. Don't just post ads for your graphic design or article writing on this site. Do it on freelance sites. You don't have to get paid in bitcoin, you just need to get paid money, from which you can use some to buy bitcoin.

Keep trying. Keep your head up. You'll get there, just keep trying!

Thanks. Yeah, I have been posting in the services section of Craigslist and also tried using XBTfreelancer, but I am just flat out having some bad luck lately. I do appreciate the encouraging words, I could use it right now. I have been doing exactly what you recommended too, just trying to make anything so I can turn it into bitcoin. I guess getting in here so late to the party is probably also not a great thing. I will just keep plugging away at it.

Any advice on good sites to use for posting services or any real sites that you can actually make money from by doing surveys and such? I have googled so many key phrases lately looking for ANY way possible to make money from home using my computer (without having to meet clients or anything in real life), but I am honestly striking out hard!

Just as the title states. I have been trying to offer services (web design, graphic design, content creation, etc..), but have had no luck on various sites. I have tried some faucets for over a week, but I have barely made $.25 cents in 2 weeks. I have tried some mining with Nicehash and some browser mining through coinpot, only to get about $1.50 in 2 weeks. Many sites I come across are either complete wastes of time or literally scams.

I don't mind working for it, please give me some advice. I do have cancer and emphysema and I'm pretty young, so for now I am stuck at home, behind a computer, with no extra money at all. Like I said before I can build websites, do some graphic design, write articles, and even do some pretty decent promotion through social media. My life has taken a very big turn over the last month so I am really looking for any help possible. Please advise me what I should do.

Thanks,
Anthony

If you took the .03 and bought ethconnect tokens, you would already have made 4.5k in just a few days. This is not only possible, but given the current state of the market, highly likely. The question truly is: How long will it take? My guess...if you do your research and don't gamble like a madman...maybe 3 months.

$200 (.03) buying ethconnect @ $.50 with a 15% bonus = 450 ethconnect tokens
ethconnect selling for $10+ on various platforms already.....................................................

People have been buying them for the last 2 days at $10 dollars in various places. I say that it should be easier than you think to do this if you do enough research. I am about to do a similar experiment and I will post a thread here when I do so that people can follow along.
595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the coin that made it all possible but killed itself in process on: November 11, 2017, 01:18:25 AM
Wasn't bitcoin around $4300 in the beginning of October? Then it just continued to hit record highs all throughout the month? So it takes its first step backwards after taking massive leaps forward for entire month and people think the sky is falling?

I mean don't get me wrong, I am new to crypto and have yet to get any of my wallets to over a 0 balance, but still... I have been following the news and this forum pretty close. Will be nice when I actually have some money to buy some cryptocurrency so I am not just a fan, but I'm on the team lol.
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: November 10, 2017, 09:38:09 PM
This team has done a good job with their website and roadmap. The product looks promising, as more ICOs launch, new and better exchanges will be needed in the market. I signed up for the airdrop, followed them on twitter, and joined their telegram group. I recommend you do the same. The airdrop is scheduled for Nov. 20th.
597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would make you invest in today's running ICOs? on: November 09, 2017, 11:37:26 PM
With so many daily ICOs launching, some people might be confused as to where they should invest.

What would make you invest in today's running ICOs?

Is it the Whitepaper?
Is it the Website design?
Is it the Project Team?
Is it the Product?

I have been trying to gauge how well their system is going to work for increasing the value of their tokens. If the whitepaper or website is poorly done, then that is usually a red flag to me for how well the ICO will be executed. I have limited knowledge of the best people working in the industry, so I usually have to Google the team members and see what that leads to. I would say overall for me, it is the product and the system built in to increase the value of the tokens over time.
598  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are Signature Campaigns? on: November 09, 2017, 11:31:57 PM
Do signature Campaigns provide a good source of extra income? I am new to cryptocurrency and wondering how I can begin accumulating some coins. I see a lot of forum users with branded signatures, so I am assuming it pays a decent amount over time?

Thanks!

Thanks for the info. This is a nice little guide that is helpful for all newcomers to the forum and to cryptocurrency.

One question: Is it possible to make a decent amount of bitcoin from doing Bounty Campaigns?

Thanks!
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXY] Experty.io - Get Paid Calls For Your Expertise 📱 on: October 31, 2017, 07:32:15 AM
There has been many new coins lately with a ton of airdrops and launch campaigns coming through this forum. I have been very reluctant to follow these launches due to the lack of professionalism, creative and innovation surrounding their projects. I have found only a couple projects worth watching and this happens to be one of them. The website, forum post here, and social media campaigns, are enough to show anyone that this team is serious about innovation and they are going to make a significant impact.

The one piece of advice I want to offer is to possibly add a short video on the homepage of the website which explains in a very simple manner exactly what this project is aiming to accomplish and how they intent on doing that. By doing this you will greatly improve your chance of getting people that land on the site to convert to believers. Not everyone is technically savvy, but that doesn't mean they don't want to invest in your ideas and vision.

For example, put the video that you posted in this thread (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJoDr6ax5gI) on the homepage of the website.

I joined the telegram channel and followed you on Twitter so I can stay up-to-date on the project. Best of luck and it's nice to see such a well put together launch.
