581  Economy / Economics / Re: Low BTC price is good for Bitcoins at the moment. on: August 24, 2015, 05:29:26 AM
yeah btc is still going down which is good for ppl who want to buy bitcoins
and those ppl that are new who want to try bitcoin ..

What newbie will vest its trust in digital currency looking at it collapse down from 18 months now, I think only price boost will attract people, while price crash gives them a window to invest. A very few newbies join and often panic and run away, making the crypto market as sensitive as it already is. How will we conquer mass adoption when the price is scaring the oldest btc users too :/
582  Economy / Economics / Re: Dollar coming to an end on: August 24, 2015, 05:27:34 AM
maybe dollar is inflating once again you know
but it won't come to an end though there are a lot
of currency less worth than a dollar like my currency here in
Philippines
That's just a hype , no currency especially dollar is going down

you might believe that the dollar is indesstructible because of major mass adoption, but the only reason dollar has value is because it is petrodollar. Petrodollar is the currency used to buy petrol, petrol cannot be bought in any other currency except petrodollar, and I am talking on a macro level, when countries are trading and buying petrol. Once its not the currency to buy the fuel, it will be doomed and they are already in massive debt.
583  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: August 24, 2015, 05:23:09 AM
Get rich fast? Or get rich over time lol. Idk, I bought 50,000 Iraqi dollars for $50 USD. Hopefully within the next 30-40 years there economy rebounds. If it hits .10 cents to the USD thats a $4950 profit. Thats not getting rich BUT, sometimes stupid stuff like that can help out for retirement and crap.

what your point ? can you explain it ? why Iraq within the next 30-40 years will be up ?
now iraq is have a seriously war problem need i think more than 100years to solve it

War problems don't require solutions which take a century to come up with, its the consequences of the war which are equalized which require a 100 years. Iraq has power mainly because of its resources, its allies and its geographical location, they might expect war but so are US and Russia, look at the growth of both the countries. Everybody has allies now, nobody really wants war now, except ammunition business Smiley
584  Economy / Economics / Re: Global stock market selloff has started on: August 24, 2015, 05:19:52 AM
I'm afraid the recession isn't over yet. The media telling us how good the economy is doing all the time (bit too enthousiastic if you ask me). I'm on the verge of buying a house but I'm afraid for the next 10 years.

Don't! My wife and I have been in the market for buying a house for the last year or so, but we've held off so far. Mainly because there is very little inventory and what is available is way over-priced. We're in San Diego and to buy a median priced home right you need $109K/year. Wages aren't keeping up with the prices, shrinking inventory and huge increase in price over the last 12 months; all this indicates we are in a housing bubble. Prices should start falling soon.

I live in The Netherlands and we have the exact same problem. I'm not going to pay my whole salary to my mortgage to live in an average house. Many people aren't even able to buy a house yet. Think I'll just rent. And yes I think the prices are going to fall soon as well.

Some people who have decided where they really want to live, buy the house and pay the money in short EMIs and I think that would be either equal or around as much as the rent you will be paying, if you really want to buy a home, I think that's a smart way. Otherwise, if you're a young lad and yet to settle down, rent out a house with a room mate, it will be pretty economical for ya
585  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: August 23, 2015, 04:36:12 PM
i will pick bitcoin...i never liked gold ...maybe if i have bitcoin in one day i will be very reach Smiley)

Are you sure that you will become rich with bitcoins? Bitcoin market is very small so it can go any extreme position either 500+ or zero level but gold will surely increase slow and forever. So i will choose gold for my long term investment

How can you state that gold will increase forever? Its been decreasing value per year for the past 5 years, reaching its all time lo this year. The only reason bitcoin succeeds gold is for its potential, because its value can increase 10 fold-100 fold but gold? No, I don't think so. I've seen companies gone which were there for a century, what is a shiny object in comparison? Smiley Things change.

Bitcoin has already dropped over 80% from its all time high and showing no signs of increasing any time soon.

The gold position is currently strengthening and is now on an upward trend.

from something which was considered digital scrap and 50 cents being a big value for bitcoins at one point of time, it boosted to 1200$ so you should rather calculate the better asset by considering its potential rather than considering its currency value, because as I said things changed before, things are changing right now and things will definitely change in the future. The only thing inevitable is change.
586  Economy / Economics / Re: My bank account's got robbed by European Commission. Over 700k is lost. on: August 23, 2015, 04:32:57 PM
Bitcoin is something completely different and therefore in my very humble opinion should not be taxed.

I would hope that any BTC to BTC transaction will be tax free while if one wants to cash out in fiat then one should pay taxes on it.

Any State or Nation or Federation or whatever have no rights on BTC!

lot of places bitcoin is taxed as capital and all the profit made on bitcoins is considered as capital appreciation and taxed accordingly, which is not such a happy advantage for every day bitcoin users, rather damages the profit made with the investment. Do not avoid paying taxes, rather stay safe than launder the money.
587  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: August 23, 2015, 04:31:25 PM
I am not sure how fast like that, because so many scammer now  Sad

scammer give you high risk but if you take that risk you get high profit ( if you luck)
i think better he try trading and make low profit 5-10% / week that better than gambling

there are many trusted btc users which often give out gift cards or cheap deals here and sell it for very cheap in return of bitcoins, so don't really worry about gambling, etc. Not everybody is a cheat, just know the trust level of the person from their profile and only trade with trusted people, you will always be in advantage and they won't scam to damage their trust level permanently.
588  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank of Bitcoin on: August 23, 2015, 04:28:51 PM
Bank of Bitcoins is not available in our country  Angry

When bitcoin is giving you the power to be your own financial bank, you do not need any third party bank for their services, enjoy bitcoins the way you deserve to Cheesy
589  Economy / Economics / Re: How can btc make a difference? on: August 23, 2015, 04:26:49 PM
btc can help the powrful man to move large amounts of money fast and easy...i nobody can find ho do that

This is one of the best feature of the bitcoin and with very less fee one can do big amount transaction but this is not possible in banks.

Anonymity is one of the best features of cryptocurrency technology, and financial institutions will never accept such a technology which destroys their very existence by giving all the power of a financial bank right into the hands of an everyday user making them their own bank. That's a great reason to fall in love with btc, anonymous and freedom are its very prime features.
Anonymous freedom is only one step for people who want to be silent about how successful they are. If you are some kind of businessman, startup creator anonymity is not what you want.
It is similar to how people are starved for fame and followers on various social network. Anonymity can bring you first wave of users who want to be left alone. Big business is not about that at all.

Anonymity has helped me made important transactions privately causing no tension in my area of field, and that was a nice advantage for me. Also, anonymity gives an everyday person the right to keep their privacy limited and I think its nobody's business to know what I am spending money on, except the person who is holding it, which is me Tongue
590  Economy / Economics / Re: What can greece central bank do? on: August 23, 2015, 04:25:01 PM
I don't really understand the organization structure of EMU. Does Greece central bank have the right to create euro? Who controls greece central bank? Why couldn't Greece central bank print some Euro to repay their IMF and ECB loan???

Greece Central bank is reliable on the Eurozone for printing more euros, they do not control the finance but are affiliated with the Euro bank which provides their funding and sanctions loans and their baliouts! The Greece Central bank is controlled by the government, which is right now indirectly controlled by the Eurozone Tongue Greece central bank does not have the authority to print euro, they only have authority to print Greece currency which well, even Greeks don't use Tongue
591  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin really save Greece? on: August 23, 2015, 04:22:00 PM
Greece has a population of 11 million. Bitcoin can handle at most 500,000 transactions per day. This means if Greece adopts bitcoin then less than 5% of the Greek population can do a single transaction per day

Oh, you think they have enough money to buy capital reserve worth of bitcoins to keep it as their national currency? If you are not talking about Greece adopting bitcoin, what are you discussing if bitcoin can handle the Greece population? Bitcoin has the potential to handle half the world at the same time right now, and after more serious adoption, there will be better tech for better performance.
592  Economy / Economics / Re: Minimum wage. on: August 23, 2015, 04:20:06 PM
What are your thoughts about the minimum wage? Is it a job killer or a way of ensuring companies pay their workers fair wages and what do you think about its effects on employment?

Minimum wage must not exist. Is a way of price controls and price controls never work.

yeah it divides people to fight with each other about how much one deserves, while the company owners like a CEO makes a million dollars in an hour sometimes, but giving fixed salary to its employees at 15$ an hour, so there is no potential in job salary increase, and everybody is on fixed salary judging each other on how much money one of them makes.
593  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest personal bitcoin loss on: August 23, 2015, 04:18:25 PM
Hashie scammed me .5

Now I only trust HashNest for cloudmining.

Cloudmining days died long before when a lot of scammers entered the market, I never invested in it, but my colleagues did and they are reaping their losses, but its okay. You win some and you lose some, I am enjoying better opportunities I am receiving to make btc, and I am to invest in my on crypto ventures which have a direct impact in our real world.
594  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: August 23, 2015, 04:16:04 PM
5 years from now a lot of people will have interest in bitcoin.. Not just in Bitcoin but also in crypto world.. Lot of stores will accept btc as a payment soon.

all depends on positive spread of crypto tech information spread across the world, the more recognition bitcoin deserves, the more acceptance it will receive, and that is definitely a possibility. Either bitcoin will be something really big some day or end up like digital scrap, but I believe my investments are accurate and I will benefit as much as I deserve Cheesy
595  Economy / Economics / Re: Low BTC price is good for Bitcoins at the moment. on: August 23, 2015, 04:14:18 PM
i think people are  attracted to buy bitcoin when the price is big ...not when she goes down
yes, it should be like that sir. when the coin is getting better then the interest of people who do not have even doubled. I think the decline bitcoin even create new user difficult to enter here

yes, bitcoin does experience a very sensitive market, mainly because big whales have their influence on dumps and crashes, and such crashes scare investors thinking they would rather get their money back with a little depreciation rather than losing it all, and people lose a lot of money this way, people often lack patience. I've been blessed enough to keep my faith in my investments and believe I'm doing well right now Smiley
596  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: August 23, 2015, 04:12:07 PM
Save it in a bank and stay away from gambling coz it can make your life worst

The only reason I am into bitcoins is because I want to have the control of my own financial operations and act like a bank, just what bitcoin allows me to do, so I would rather save it in crypto than a bank which gives me minimum returns over long periods. About Gambling, yeah no.. Gambling made my life much better: You win some, you lose some. Deal with it bruh Smiley

598  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: August 23, 2015, 04:08:15 PM
worked hard and successfully invest their money

Indeed, investing in something is the key, working wont do much for you but if you know how to invest you can get rich, obviously a really hard thing to do.

Investing is the gamble of the elite, don't think there is no loss or cons in investing, most of the money I've earned has been lost in investing in ventures which weren't performed to their potential, I think its safe to invest money in your own ventures and believe in your dreams rather than investing in someone else's company and getting salary to help them achieve their dreams.
599  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: August 23, 2015, 04:06:03 PM
yes. i get feel about that.
i hope this can be released.
cause is now time to the future currency, and not anymore use paper money in anywhere we go.
to difficult. and bad feel.

ofcourse the paper money is as useless as it could be, fiat is a financial exchange system which is broken at the moment, and bitcoin might not particularly be a fix but a rather amazing alternative, and not a replacement. Bitcoin can either go really big and become the most accepted currency but looking at things right now, I am questioning the time it might actually take for something like that, a few years maybe.
600  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people are using Bitcoin debit card? on: August 23, 2015, 04:03:26 PM
many people use it.
as we know debit card is more easy in use.
and not make trouble.

I don't feel it to be pretty reasonable because of the transaction fees it takes for exchange, and I would rather spend my bitcoins directly, and use my normal fiat/bank debit card for purchases and online shopping or withdrawing or whatever, because it is less complicated and I do feel there should be trade of assets in order to increase its value, but I don't like spending my assets too much, and treat it like currency right now.
