It can be found on ravearchive.com  Smiley

Thank you, 777coin! Best giveaway on Bitcointalk, for sure! What would Games and rounds be without you?! Cheesy
1103  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 20, 2014, 11:38:38 PM
It looks to me like Huobi is forming a nice base at the 50% retrace level off the recent top. Bears can't get any momentum going.... launch soon? Well, I hope so. Smiley
1104  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: any way to get a couple mBTC for free? on: July 20, 2014, 11:36:02 PM
Seems 777 is still around and that's about it.

Yep, 777 still has their giveaway in Games and Rounds. It's .0001 only, BUT you can post for and receive the giveaway every day, and there is no withdrawal restriction.
1105  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: signature area on: July 20, 2014, 11:33:42 PM
Signature campaigns pay out really well when you get high-up, but I have to say it's difficult to get anything meaningful as a newbie. Looking at 777coin, however, makes me feel like I could actually earn something whenever...

I think I'll wait till I'm a member though.

Well, you could get something. Some would say "might as well." With 777 you can put in a referral link, so if you reel in a big fish, you get 10% (I think) of the profits. No links as a newbie, but as a junior member... Wink
1106  Other / Off-topic / Re: USPS 1-day Express, took 3 days! on: July 20, 2014, 11:31:32 PM
I've claimed a refund before. It was a hassle and took several days to sort out (and longer to receive the refund). It actually wasn't worth pursuing and I wouldn't do it again. Unfortunately, lost/delayed+redelivered packages are something I deal with from USPS, Fedex, UPS, OnTrac -- all of them.
1107  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much of a role does alcohol play in your lives? on: July 20, 2014, 11:29:02 PM
In my younger days I drank a lot socially, but I don't get much out of the bar/club scenes these days. I go through periods where I drink only once or twice a month.... other times, like now, I usually have a six pack or two of micro brew in the fridge and drink one or two beers each night after work. Smiley

1110  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: day trading - what's the catch? on: July 19, 2014, 09:47:50 PM
Hello,
I dont get it. Price at Bitstamp is always like 10+$ more then BTC-E. If you buy from BTC-E and sell on Bitstamp even with the taxes is profitable. Right now the price of BTC is around 620-630 for a long time. Isnt that going to be really profitable if you do this a lot of times doing the same and the same again. Buy from BTC-E sell to Bitstamp, withdraw USD from Bitstamp and Deposit to BTC-E?

It takes time and headache to complete the arbitrage process. Wiring money into BTC-E is apparently not easy and people often face delays in getting credited properly. In that time, the price could go up considerably.

New York’s New Bitcoin Rules Are Going to Kill Its Startups

http://www.wired.com/2014/07/ny_bitcoin/

It's only a draft/proposal at this point, right? Still open to public comment, and changes? Hopefully the bitcoin community and business/financial community can lobby for some more business-friendly regs.
1112  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which of the 6 new states would you move to if given a choice? on: July 19, 2014, 09:44:17 PM
Silicon Valley is nice place hehe i like it Cheesy

Yeah, except as carved out here, it's probably more appropriately called the San Francisco Bay Area. This Draper guy doesn't know what he's talking about.
1113  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you enjoy eating Shawarma? on: July 19, 2014, 09:35:08 PM
Dude, I love Shawarma. I get a Chicken Shawarma plate from a local place around the corner every few days. Don't you ruin this for me now! Grin
1114  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Share where you get free bitcoin or invest on: July 19, 2014, 09:33:11 PM
From signature campaign like you do Tongue

Same here. But I guess OP already knows about that. Smiley I trade a little bit (altcoins mostly) too.
1115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are girls using Bitcoins? on: July 19, 2014, 09:31:51 PM
taught my wife how to access my wallet and sent me funds - does that count?

Nope.

Pretty clear to me that girls aren't using bitcoin, but hey, bitcoin is still a geek's world. Smiley
1116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ask Amazon for Bitcoin Payments on: July 19, 2014, 09:30:47 PM
I've asked before. I've only gotten a boilerplate response. I think Amazon is way too big to touch bitcoin for now. Not until there is a much bigger market cap and market liquidity against USD.
1117  Economy / Speculation / Re: This Bitfinex Credit Bubble cannot end well on: July 19, 2014, 09:29:00 PM
With the new changes, do you think Bitfinex will liquidate BTC to USD in a predictable way? Or do you think they will speculate to some extent? (i.e. not dumping every day at 00:00 UTC, etc)
1118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What items are best purchased with bitcoin? on: July 19, 2014, 09:27:10 PM
Definitely industries with high chargeback rates. Adult entertainment/porn, for instance, faces this issue, so I would think that these types of places would take to bitcoin.
1119  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the top features/functionalities you look for in an exchange? on: July 19, 2014, 09:26:05 PM
More trade types/options. For example, the ability to easily both market order and sell order. It's nice to be able to stop buy/sell as well (at least if there is sufficient liquidity to justify using stops).
1120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Poll : do you trust an exchange to hold your bitcoins ? on: July 19, 2014, 09:24:55 PM
Some exchanges are verified because of an audit but as you know some of them can close when they want unpredictably.

I don't trust any of these audits. From what I can tell, none of them have been carried out in a manner that proves current possession of assets to cover all liabilities.
