Question: what is the difference between these 2 commands?
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
and
set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 (set without x after)
plus, which command of these 2 shall I use with claymore's XPM miner?

setx makes it permanent in your registry and set only is local and one time event. If you are sure about your settings and dont need to configure, use setx if not use set in batfile. |

Not important, but it was around market price at purchase time. No, it was not to expensive, and seller still have some gpus left i asume. Pay only what you feel comfortable to pay, that would be my best advice regarding price. As a hint, i dont think 290 cards will sell for much more than 250 the next weeks, but this one had included the hybrid watercooling. Happy mining |

Claymore really good job. I didn't have time to follow this miner for a week, but I see you were able to disable mining of other coins using primecoin algo.
with versions 3 and above, pool and solo. Are you happy with time spent for that, so people can't mine what they prefer? LOL.
Well, last i checked i was still able to choose what i wanted to mine... Ofc a developer of software will always try to make it "protected" for his interest, but again, you are free to choose whatever miner you want! Or you can make one yourself? Credits to claymore for making a software that represents more than 60% of current network! If you find that a problem, make your own Fee or no fee, its a very good piece of work. happy mining |

Dont see how i am making a disturbance, only saying what i think. What is silly here, is your wording in private conversations after i pointed out that this does not add up. As for your info, the 5 gpus we were talking about is not so much. I got more than that delivered to me yesterday, shipped from another country whitout issues. Yeah, it sure is not safe to ship. Good call... I have recieved alot of gpus, from several different sellers on this forum from several different countries. None had any issues, not on shipping part or payment part. For me, this doesnt add up. If you really added it to amason, why did i not get a notice about it to have a chance of buying it there??
