581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HZ] Horizon Long + Fair Distribution|Decentralized Asset Exchange on: April 29, 2015, 08:04:37 AM
I'm not sure what ponzi is?  Like I said I work out a dividends plan   , some dividends plan I have look at  I did not like , That paid dividends for gold, silver was if you buys  share and hold them, but you had to buy minimum 50.000 share and hold then for 60 days to earn dividends , I did not think  investors  like to wait 60 days to earn dividends , so I'm trying to work out a fair dividends plan for all ...

After review, we have taken the decision to reject HZGOLD as a trusted asset at this time. The reasons are as follows:

1. The description of this asset is extremely confusing and consists of nothing more than vague statements about how 'HZGOLD is best asset'.

2. There is no mention of how this asset will create value for investors.

3. The Twitter account seems to be hastily set up and (apart from Pizpie), has zero followers and again seems to consist of poorly worded and vague statements about the benefits of investing in gold - not even HZGOLD... just gold. There is no other information to be found at all.

4. The submitted logo again appears to be very hastily constructed. Simply finding a picture of some gold on Google Images and writing 'HORIZON ASSET HZGOLD' over the top in default black verdana font is not convincing us that much thought has gone into any of this.

5. You claim to have a plan for HZGOLD, however nobody has seen this apart from 'a financial services that is know very well about cryptocurrency and how it works'. Would it not have been better to get feedback from the actual community rather than rely on the opinion of an unnamed 'financial services that is know very well about cryptocurrency'?

6. From your post, it appears that English is not your first language, yet your name, 'Kevin Prell' is an English name. I then googled your name and found a twitter account for https://twitter.com/kprell26 which seems to be much better written and corresponds with some of the older posts made on this account. I could be wrong, but there is such a huge difference between the language styles that it leads me to wonder if this account might have been compromised. If you could post something to @kprell26 about this asset, it would certainly help in this aspect.

As mentioned above, the multiple red flags mean that unfortunately, we are unable to endorse HZGOLD.

Thank you for your work investigating. This asset was red alert for me from the beginning. Smiley

To martismartis

I'm  working a dividends plan , The HZ collected from share  will go for that , ( this for a example
If you bye share of HZGold  and hold them , I will pay you dividends back in HZ) , but the time frame has not set up yet. I'm working on that .

I will update the dividends plan soon

Are you creating a ponzi? From where dividends will come? Could give us some business plan of how you will earn prifit and pay dividends?

                                                           Asset Id:  12279329634424595840

Gold is the most popular as an investment,When asked why we invest in gold the standard answer often involves, ‘because it is a safe haven. Is gold a safe haven everywhere? YES or NO for gold to act as a stabilizing force for financial markets by reducing losses when it is most needed.’When and why we invest in gold Traditionally we refer to gold priced in dollars, looking at daily data the authors ‘find evidence of the strong-form safe haven’ for Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, the UK and the US Is Investing In Gold Still A Good Idea? People from every sector of society have been talking about investing in gold for years now. That some investors achieved incredible earnings relying on this precious metal is undeniable So in closing Let all make HZ GOLD One of the Best ASSET -Kevin

Curious, why nobody is using NZxchange for exchange to btc or NXT? There is no liquidity at the moment.

i find it quite silly that they are even considering NXT .... there are so many other options like ethereum and bitshares and counterparty. seriously nxt???

i mean i've been reading about it and everyone says its a premine scam...

so i dont know what to believe anymore...

maybe i should install the nxt wallet to see for myself. -_-

Yes, it could be good start before making your conclusions Smiley

I shan't say more. You have equal purview to the same things I have. But whatever you said is a lie, if not,

You need to show why it's a lie. Originally the "fair distribution" slogan was based on the fact that 75% would be distributed. 10% were for developers and marketers. And 15% for future development.  Some people though that even 25% was pretty high as UP had also collected plenty of BTC and Nxt during the IPO.  That 25% number ended up becoming 71% at launch date as shown here.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1022311.0

That's your "fair distribution". Never mind that the worlds population is 7 billion  and 9.99995% of humans actually have zero nem. The whole idea of "fair distribution" is a joke to start with..

I am sorry but I have to agrre here for a moment. 71% coins held by the DEVs is not doing us much good with the people coming from the outside, but hey decision has been made and we have to live with it!!

The 71% number is complete and udder FUD. http://blockexplore.in/search/richlist/

74% of NEM is held by only 100 accounts, which looks worse until you release that almost 2/3 of that 74%, (e.i., almost exactly half of all XEM) is money being held not by individuals but by funds held in multisig accounts set aside for massive development and ecosystem projects. http://blockexplore.in/search/richlist/

Of those funds they are being held in multi-sig, devs are a minority signers.

And when you exclude those special funds to fuel projects, what is left is one of the most amazing distributions of any crypto.  http://blockexplore.in/graphs/bubble-chart-no-dev/

NXT FUDsters are coming in here with complete lies.  When in reality NXT was started by 70 people at most, but instead probably had lots of sock puppets.  On top of that even today 74% of NXT is all held by 0.13% of NXT account (143).  https://nxtblocks.info/#section/blockexplorer_distribution

Please notice how FUDsters provide no links or proof of evidence of their lying numbers, yet repeat it over and over again.

NXT is a good platform, but some of them are very shameful.

Jabo

With all respect to XEM team, please don't use PROBABLY, when you try to compare facts. Nobody knows and nobody will know, how it was in reality with NXT distribution and sockpuppets, so let's forget about this and move on. I'm sure there will be left some sockpuppets also in XEM distribution, but I'm not saying it as a fact, it could be PROBABLY. If you try to discuss with facts, so please discuss with real facts, not with PROBABLY.

P.S. 74% of XEM is held in funds, PROBABLY multisig key holders are the same sockpuppet person. Is it fact or what? Smiley

P.P.S. I hold both, NXT and XEM.

EDITED: some typing erros.

74% being held in funds is complete and udder FUD and a total lie. Please stop saying this!

How many times do I have to post the links to block explorers? http://blockexplore.in/search/richlist/

almost exactly 50% of funds are held in multisig accounts to fund future projects. http://blockexplore.in/graphs/bubble-chart/

The other half has been distributed.  http://blockexplore.in/graphs/bubble-chart-no-dev/

Furthermore, I don't have any proof so I deleted my comment that you took offense too.

My bad, my mistake. OK, 50%. This doesn't change my main thought, that comparing PROBABLY and straight facts in discussion leads to nowhere Smiley

Do NHZ devs knows about found bug in NXT?
Hi folk,
please try to update to 1.4.17: https://nxtforum.org/nrs-releases/nrs-v1-4-17/
The team fixed a critical bug.
Cheers,
Chuck

Wow, that thread is really interesting to read. Thx.

It links to here  General Discussion > Bounties "destroyer" sends the 4 bugs!!!  where already 26 people (!) have together pledged 132,500NXT to get a bug bounty together, for the said hacker 'destroyer'.

And now they released an asset "Destroyer asset #16814982501952336922" to collect all that.

Fascinating.

NXT and its community are amazing. Curious, main dev sleep sometimes? Smiley

I guess it is still because BTER was offline for while some weeks ago. The exchange lost much trust.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=956738.0

Why bter and btc38 markets dont gets added to coinmarketcap?

Are there any volume in those exchanges?

Volumes:

Bter- zero
Btc38- 4.3 btc

Hey !!

Is there a genesis account to HZ?

This is ridiculous Smiley you made my day Smiley

I'm happy I made you laugh Smiley

but can you answer the question?

Do you know a coin without genesis?

To satisfy your curiosity: See 4 posts back.

ok ok...
what i meant, and wasn't clear at all i guess is whether there is a genesis account which acts as a provably unspendable address?
like the one in NXT.

Yes, HZ is clone of NXT.

Really, can somebody either explain or give me a hint or a link on how Horizon/NXT Assets can be deleted after they are no longer valid?

I might start a very small experimental asset for some real life physical goods - but if one day the goods are sold, the asset holders should sell their asset shares back to me (for the value of the sold goods), and after they did, of course the shares have to be destroyed (because the goods can only be sold once). How do I do it?

Does it have something to do with the coloured coins like in this quote:?

...as the colored coins are turned in for services, they will be sent to a "burn" account and never used again, essentially removed from the supply and increasing the rarity.

And is there something in the NXT (HZ) system which can destroy obviously invalid, outdated assets? I asked this question before without any answer:

A question about assets:

There seem to be old assets in the system, e.g. assets for bets on the worldcup 2014. Will they stay there forever or is there a way to remove them?

I just want to understand it, or is this an unsolved problem in the system?

Thank you

P.S. Maybe I should look for the explanation on the NXT forum, not here...

You can send unused assets to genesis account. Just I don't ID of it. Maybe somebody from devs can write here ID of genesis account.

EDIT: Seems genesis account ID is NHZ-8HAA-H88W-UVT5-DUGLV. If yous send HZ or asset to it, they are gone forever.

Theoretical:

1. I have 2 different PC's
2. Creating new different wallets on both of them.
3. Creating new account with the same private key in both of them.
4. Starting harvesting locally in two different PC's with the same account.

Questions:

A. Will this kind of harvesting work with the same account on 2 different PC's?
B. Will this configuration increase POI for account?
