We get ignis tokens if we hold ARDR? thanks

No, you get Ignis for your NXT holdings. If you hold ARDR asset now, it will teleport to Ardor mainnet as ARDR token here.
322  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Mistertango - Bitcoin friendly European Bank Account + free MasterCard on: June 20, 2017, 06:06:36 PM
Can confirm, this is legit service (mistertango is regulated and licensed payment provider by Bank of Lithuania) and very useful service. Using it from long time ago. And they are part of IBAN system in EU, thus having own IBAN code.

hello,
The Dev will give ignis who has Ardor like NXT?

No, you only get Ignis for NXT.
And what i can do with my ignis? I have both ARDR and NXT and i do not know, what to do with NXT. ARDR i will hold for some month. But what about ignis and nxt. Very hard for understanding((

Hi all,

The IGNIS distribution model looks like a scam against investors and the NXT subreddit looks like to be full of pumper and dumpers, and haters in general. The whole situation is very sad.

Long story short, NXT developers knew in advance both IGNIS and ARDOR distributions models, which are based on NXT holdings in a period of developers choice, and could have exploited heavily this knowledge by buying NXT before the public could even know about any IGNIS distribution detail (developer's discussions are not public), and then profiting on the pump which came after the announcement. The NXT price chart indeed reflects the most typical pump-and-dump scheme, where after the ARDOR and IGNIS announcements have been made, a 10X increase happens, for then fading out quickly, with dumpers dumping on investors. Moreover, there are not third parties checking NXT developers statements, and it is not clear if the release of IGNIS (or ARDOR for the matter) was necessary. They are justified for "introducing new features", but for the majority of cryptos new features are introduced with soft forks, rather than duplicating coins (chart: https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_nxt).

I am trying to make my concerns heard on the NXT subreddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/NXT/comments/6hazwj/serious_concern_about_devs_credibility/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/NXT/comments/6gzedp/scamshots/) but I keep getting accused of spreading FUD and they keep reassuring me that developers did not do anything bad. I do not have evidence of any wrongdoing, but the crypto space is full of scammers and being skeptical is very healthy. Moreover, the subreddit is full of "buy buy buy" people.

The whole situation should be clarified for creating a safer crypto environment.

I need help.

NXT to Ignis snapshot was publicly known one year ago. NXT price increased last year was for NXT to ARDR snapshot.

Does anyone know why the developers opted to make a whole cryptocurrency (Ardor) over simply upgrading NXT to support the added features? I realize they basically gave it to whoever was holding NXT but other than that it seems like dumping NXT to move on to greener pastures?  Am I missing something?

Start from here: https://www.jelurida.com/ardor-nxt-feature-comparison

Thank you for the comparison page.  From the page I see this

"On each chain transaction fees are paid in the native token (coin) of that chain. End users do not need to own ARDR tokens."

End users do not need to own ARDR tokens but do ARDR token holders some how benefit from the fees on those native tokens/chains?

There will be child chain transactions bundlers, which can be anybody and which will collect fees of child chain transactions in native token and will pay ARDR, in order to include those bundled transactions into the Ardor main chain block.
In other words, if you as regular user, will make a transaction in Ignis child chain, you'll pay just transaction fee in Ignis, set by bundlers.

Following, it's incredible I missed this project.

You didn't miss it, it is just starting Smiley
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | Nxt | Blockchain Platform | Proof of Stake | Official on: June 09, 2017, 06:05:46 PM
So, since the price was up on this, I decided to check it out again. I had an account WAY back when this first got started. My account number was 665469134577085**** (censoring the last few just in case). However, when I download the client and attempt to login, it doesn't allow you to input that many digits. Am I missing something, or was the account system changed to use less digits (in which case, what's my new account number)?

You can check what is your new account id in new format by simply opening this in your browser: https://nxt.jelurida.com/nxt?=%2Fnxt&requestType=rsConvert&account=XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Just replace XXXX.. with your numerical account No.
Anyway, you can login into your account with your passphrase, just click "key" in your login screen and enter your passphrase in the field.

Ardor launch is planned in Q3 2017, exact date is not set yet.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ARDOR | Scalable Blockchain-as-a-Service Platform | Proof of Stake on: June 09, 2017, 03:20:58 AM
HI May i know how can i mine ardor and NXT ?
Please guide me. Thank you

There is forging, not mining. You cannot forge Ardor ATM, as it is on testnet only. To forge with Nxt, you need to login with your passphrase into client and have min 1000 NXT, which is 1440 confirmations old.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | Nxt | Blockchain Platform | Proof of Stake | Official on: June 09, 2017, 03:18:52 AM
Yeah, this could be possible to brute-force - 4 to 6 signs is not that bad. There used to be a tool for it on the nxt board, but I couldn't find it (only did a quick google search though).

Here is an article about a script using the NXT API to brute force addresses - maybe that could be a starting point if you have some programming skills... or if the value is high enough to put real effort in.

When can we expect to know the exact date when the NXT -> IGNIS snapshot will be taken?

If all keeps going according to plan, the snapshot will be in the next 3 months (Q3 of the year).
No further prediction was given. Surely there will be a notice ahead of time.

Appreciated ThomasVeil. I haven't lost a life changing amount, enough for a fun weekend! but I will try to get it back to end being annoyed at myself. A long road ahead for me I think  Shocked Cry If anyone can help, send me a message.

In the meantime, what are the hot topics for Nxt right now? Any pointers would be good. Thanks.

You can follow www.nxter.org, thay give weekly reports on Monday/Tuesday about Nxt/Ardor.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ARDOR | Scalable Blockchain-as-a-Service Platform | Proof of Stake on: June 06, 2017, 03:00:07 PM
Now that ardor's framework is beginning to form . Crypto enthusiasts are recognizing the immense potential of this platform . I am glad that I caught the bus at the right time.

Yep. Sadly, in this crowded market it's not just tech - but also marketing that plays a big role. I hope the ICO will give enough funding - and that it will be well used. I think Ardor belongs somewhere in the top 20 at least. But I'm biased Smiley

Can anybody explain why we need Ardor platform if there are already BitShares, Nxt, Ethereum and Waves platforms? What will be the benefits of Ardor comparing to BitShares, Nxt, Ethereum and Waves?

Here is a good explanation how Nxt and Ardor will differ: https://www.jelurida.com/ardor-nxt-feature-comparison
And you can test Ardor on testnet: https://ardor.jelurida.com/

Is there a white paper for Ardor? I googled but could not find anything. Thanks!

Nxt whitepaper at https://nxtwiki.org/wiki/Whitepaper:Nxt with addition of https://www.jelurida.com/ardor-nxt-feature-comparison and https://www.jelurida.com/ardor-blockchain-platform-design

Everything turned out to be simple. The wallet has already broken 25,000 ulitelo. And the admins do not answer ((((((((

About which wallet are you talking about? There is no administrators in Nxt blockchain.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ARDOR | Scalable Blockchain-as-a-Service Platform | Proof of Stake on: May 16, 2017, 05:03:47 PM
Tell me why one will use Ardor if there is NXT? What is the purpose of this?

Here is a good read to understand differences between Nxt and Ardor: https://www.jelurida.com/ardor-nxt-feature-comparison

337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | Nxt | Blockchain Platform | Proof of Stake | Official on: May 10, 2017, 07:14:32 PM
I am not knowledgeable enough to dispute it so I won't.

I figured that out, you're a speculator. You don't install and test wallets to see for yourself.

And he don't read or do not understand how Ardor will be different to Nxt Smiley Troll confirmed, don't waste a time with him Smiley
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | Nxt | Blockchain Platform | Proof of Stake | Official on: May 10, 2017, 08:55:39 AM
Growing up and evolution of Nxt sounds good to me, I'll take it.

That it is. Always was. Makes no sense whatsoever to pretend otherwise, as you guys are doing of late. It only adds to the confusion and confusion -to most people- is one of the major problems of this project: Too complicated.

There is nothing complicated.
Ardor can do ~35x more transactions than Nxt or Bitcoin, a) using about the same amount of resources, b) on a decentralized peer-to-peer network. This is as dumbed down as could be. No project has this in mainnet. Perhaps some do in testnet of which I am not aware?

Can it do 35x more transactions than Ethereum?

How Ethereum is related to your concerns, that Ardor is only name change of Nxt. Don't see Lurker10 mentioned Ethereum in his post.

And again, did you read about Nxt and Ardor differences from the links I posted before?
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | Nxt | Blockchain Platform | Proof of Stake | Official on: May 10, 2017, 07:09:37 AM
Meanwhile BTC is literaly exploding -above $2,000. within hours-. Get ready for NXT (and ARDR, along with the ret of alts) to tumble further. Significantly

Nxt has a little troll now, a good sign it is doing something well Smiley

Really? A legendary member with hundreds of posts on this thread is a "now"? Wow. But, paraphrasing yourself, to each his own. Love the argument about the facts stated, though.

Trolling posts do not count.

By checking poloniex I see green color with Nxt and Ardor. Do you have other sources, where Nxt and Ardor tumble significantly?

You see 1% gains after tumbling 20% -from much higher prices-. But give it a little time so BTC recharges and keeps going much, much higher. Let's see what happens then. We will indeed revisit this in months to come. Years, even.

That said, I'm the first to congratulate -and participate in the profits- the schemers because it obviously worked -even before the river of new money inundating crypto of late-. Hey, overnight they doubled the market value of this project by simply calling NXT Ardor. That was impressive. And as such, chapeau, once again. Now it needs to go back to 10k -minimum-, to really be a participant of the "raining money" going on across the board. Close, but still not quite there yet. I'd be the first to celebrate for it indeed has some tech value under the hood, as opposed to so many others that have gone x10, x20 and more in the last few weeks. I am very surprised the whole thing is so (price) vulnerable, though, giving the circumstances.

I'd recommend you start from reading this: https://www.jelurida.com/ardor-nxt-feature-comparison and this https://www.jelurida.com/ardor-blockchain-platform-design

It's not a wall of text, so when you'll read these two links, come back and we could talk further. Thank you.
