581  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beware! You are not safe if you are using facebook! on: November 05, 2019, 07:15:09 PM
Beware! You are not safe if you are using facebook

because facebook is a network which is managed by CIA, and not only CIA, there are many more agencies those are tracking you, including all of your activities, and furthermore, facebook does not care about your privacy, last year, facebook sold 250+ million users data.

You mean, we need not to disclose some of our privacy in facebook? If they doesn't care the privacy that we had, what's the purpose of their security access protection? and other ways of log-in like the google authentication option prior access to our account.
I wondered why these agencies will going to track us, since I am not linked with any crimes or whatsoever. Those individuals that has been target for this was only for a case to case basis, and as per understanding you're not subjected to tracking if you're not a target for government's scrutiny process.
Good thing this idea and warnings came up here, it really helped us be aware of what possible situation that facebook will be used for particular on some serious situation like what has been said.
582  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Holds Above $9k on: November 05, 2019, 06:34:21 PM
Although it occassionaly drops to near breaking the $9k, it still holds up and I'm positive that the next bull run will soon happen. I'm not quite sure how that IPO might affect bitcoin. As far as I know, IPOs are for the stock market and is separate from ICOs for cryptocurrencies. If they would also enter the crypto-market, then that could be quite huge. But until now, the price is still struggling to reach an uptrend.

It wouldn't be easy for them to withstand on this struggling market, since were in the midst of unpredictable scenario for each and every crypto. I was not so familiar with that IPO, and what I am focused as of now is for bitcoin together with other promising altcoin assets. They can't combine stock market and cryptocurrency, it would be a huge coverage for them as they would desire to pursue those plans without enough resources, unless some whales will do some tricky rides as well.
583  Economy / Economics / Re: BEEN IN THIS GAME FOR 6 YEARS on: November 05, 2019, 01:54:12 PM
It is my lesson learned that in convincing people about Bitcoin you should not focus in the future. They will not be convinced about it. They are thinking about risk and what will happen to their money. Instead of your predictions which are not a guarantee nor even accurate, focus in the past. Let them see how Bitcoin is transforming into a billion dollar technology from a simple attempt to contribute to a little to change the world. Let them see how the $9,500 Bitcoin started from $0.00000.

So you're talking a brief history if bitcoin from zero to thousands, and now bouncing at $9K and above. In line to the scenario of convincing people, I guess it not important to exert an effort proving the importance of bitcoin for them, because it was just a waste of time. We need to treasure every moment for very important things, but for those non sense people who can't even listen for 1 minute, don't waste your time about it. Time will tell, and I think history prevails the truth over the latest price nowadays which could be more potential to reach a much profitable value in the near future.
584  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc to the moon soon? on: November 05, 2019, 01:23:38 PM
What do you think?

Soon enough.

I think we are slowly building out a new range, a la Q1-Q2 2016. No need to fret, this is actually a good thing. Slow moon is the best moon. With any luck, we've still got another 6+ months of trading below $20K ahead of us.

The market is really  building it's rhythm  but who knows the future? maybe we can see a good thing coming this year but provably it will not reach to $20k level since end of the year is so near  to happen and most provably we can see the good effect by the time we will getting near close to halving day and hopefully we can reach again to $20k after 6 months or maybe closed to it.

With respect for bitcoin reaching at $20K each, I guess that's far too long to achieve this year and if bear market will stay dominating the entire crypto system; that expected price will not be possible. By the year 2020, more people we're sighting a productive market as many predictions came out with most promising feedback but I am still referring on the actual trend and not the predictions. So far, there's more speculators tried to show some of their graphs and yet the results is far more to be witnessed along with realistic outcome.
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is this news can affect to BNT price? on: November 05, 2019, 12:53:08 PM
About bancor:
Bancor (BNT) offers a marketplace that facilitates the exchange of cryptoassets that may otherwise lack consistent liquidity on exchanges.

in december 2019, bancor will be airdrop to all BNT holder, total value is equivalent to 10% BNT’s market cap at the time of the snapshot. (If the airdrop occurred today, it would amount to $2.0 million, based on today’s $20 million BNT market cap.)

source: https://blog.bancor.network/the-bancor-airdrop-is-coming-42d78709427f

So, is this news can affect to BNT price? beside the news above, currently the BNT price is -93% from ATH.

what do you think?

With this brilliant news, it was so hard to say a definite conclusive words about BNT price. What's most certain about that, promotional matters really can help an exchange brought up their popularity after all those efforts provided by Bancor's team. This is huge amount of money being airdropped, is somewhat a very serious strategy gambled by BNT in order for their crypto to established a strong community in the future. My personal insights on this, I am positive that the news will bring large factor for the price of BNT to reach a remarkable value, and we'll see what's the outcome when that $2M airdrop is over to all qualified.
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Unrealistic bounty allocations on: November 05, 2019, 12:13:33 PM
What kind of a bounty hunter are you? the one who is always eager to promote new projects? or the one who select the projects that appeared to be worthy? or for example you like projects with million dollars allocation like...

Well here is the fact, any bounty that gives out huge bounty rewards are unrealistic, we all know that we are in a bad crypto season but still they think this is the best way to lure you, this doesn't mean the project is scam but forget the dollar price tag and don't bother to calculate based on $$$$ because you can get 10$ instead of your 500$ worth of token, i prefer already listed and trading projects, what about you? do you agree or disagree?

We all know that even before many bounty campaign give unrealistic reward that just to tease the hunter but in the end they will not give you a huge reward and give us a penny instead. Even me I prefer a listed bounty campaign but not all listed bounty campaign project is worth it sometimes they gone too and in the end all that listed campaigns in exchange will no value. So it's important too find or research a project that have potential and will be grow the value.

Doing some serious research about a good project is very important, but I wasn't amaze on those upcoming latest projects because it was so hard to determine which of them is the most potent. Unlike before the green days of crypto, most people used to have direct involvement to different bounty projects with a very promising bounty promotion which gathered 80% of their actual crowd funding. Unfortunately after 2017, the following new ICO's wasn't able to sustain on that stage and sadly all projects joined by many hunters, tend to fail on their allocations and yet scammed all bounty participants. The scenario has no realistic funds raised, due to investors were losing trust on ICO project, and that time crypto market starts to decline.
587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo vs Kovalev WBO Light Heavyweight Championship on: November 05, 2019, 08:49:51 AM
Canelo told that he rejects this belt, because he is going back to his weight division.

I saw this one coming, Canelo can't stay in the Light Heavyweight Division. He will be destroyed by Ward if the latter will un-retire.

Next fight for him is the trilogy with GGG and it's the best move for him if i were his handler.

If Canelo can stay on in the light heavyweight that could make Ward come back, and this could be a making of a mega-fight and huge paycheck, but if his team advised him to stay and go back in the middleweight, we can consider that it's about money, Kovalev can come back as a champion he is not really that old.

Of course this man is still has the strong potential to fight even for younger fighters, and with his performances I bet he can still knock them out. It's kind of money issues why they came up to that decision moving back to that certain division. Most probably there's a serious reason for that, and I guess that's a confidential information behind their part. In the long run we will find it our sooner.
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: November 05, 2019, 06:34:03 AM
To all bounty hunters on this wonderful forum i want to know if its advisable to continue with the bounty you have been promoting for 12weeks that got extra 8weeks added more, have you promote projects this long that ends up with good end results? Thank you
depending on the type of project. when a project really needs extra time for development or waiting for an investor I might be waiting for it. however, 8 weeks is a long time.  when the project already has a product, has a famous partnership, and also already has a partnership with the market so that after the sale, the tokens can be traded immediately, it is a project that is worth waiting for. in addition, we have also been working on the task for 12 weeks. but, it needs to add extra allocation in accordance with the extension of the bounty. that's my opinion

This is a very frustrating thing about extentions of a bounty campaign, and I don't even care how much allocation be added to it. What's more important is that we've going to catch a good reward somehow, because even if you been successfully completed with the campaign hence a project didn't obtain a good market, still it's a useless efforts. If a project continues with their campaign, developers should provide a transparency towards participants so they won't be disappointed in the end.
589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: November 05, 2019, 02:49:51 AM
Rockets are still struggling, they are showing inconsistencies but their loss to the Heat will make them look beast when they bounce back today.
The line seems high and they might not cover it if they win, so I will buy points and will take them at -2.5 instead.

GL for tonight, hope we all have a winning night.

Seems a safer point spread that Rockets -6.5. I dont care about the home court advantage It doesn't change the fact how bad they are playing lately. I know they will make some adjustments after the huge loss from Miami, but I just hope they going to get the W.

Home court advantage is a huge factor but we can't guarantee at 100% winnings once their opponent got the lucky shots. If a team got good set plays of their game plan, I think it's their only way to break that mindsets because the game depends on strategy and not on some perspectives. Hopefully they'll recover the loss after all.
590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have anyone tried to stop gamblers from losing while they keep on wagering. on: November 04, 2019, 01:13:43 PM
~snip~

Recently while playing dice, I saw a person who was wagering with large funds to recover the loss. By the time he has lost part of what I have lost. I texted him my experience, and suggested to stop it before things go out of his hands. He didn't responded, finally he lost everything. Have any of you got such experience.
Whatever you did there was really a good move. It does not matter if the other side the guys heard you or not.
Anyway, with me I had this addiction long ago and I got some family support to recover it. When thing really goes out of hand, family is the one who can help you.

These days, I am not much serious gambler and whatever I do, I do them for fun only. But still I lose LOL

Honestly speaking, you can not make money from gambling at all. For the bookies it's a business that is selling entertainment. And you are paying to buy the entertainment.

The Op did what is right, but unfortunately a person next to him was hard headed and didn't think about his future. That's why sudden loss of funds happened badly, just because of ignoring a warnings. Sometimes, an advice maybe good or bad but mostly it brings good things leads to the right path, especially our decision making.
591  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Qualification for Professional Trader on: November 04, 2019, 08:36:39 AM
I think you will just be qualified for them but not for everyone.

How about this. How do you identify a professional trader? Is there such a thing?
They are just showing their wins but not their losses.
I am watching them all in youtube including market analyzers but still I am having a hard time to believe with what they say.
Just like you said, it could all be edited for their own to make it look good to everyone.

For sure it will affect the company reputation if they hide the losses of their traders and they will have a proper screening or rankings so that  the user will define  on which traders is good for them. If you still not satisfy with the information you  got much better to read on their site on how they choose their top rank traders.

Their website had such amazing previews to let the viewers be amaze for those successful traders, but I don't think that they have plans to reveal traders who had bad days on them. Confidential matters always fall unto the decision of the exchange site admin whether they allow it to have transparency, or a discreet information which cannot be disclosed because it affects the reputation of the exchange site.
It's more like the main stream media, every details of an article was sincerely filtered.
592  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 20,000 USD by the year end. on: November 03, 2019, 03:59:21 PM
You can’t reliably predict anything with month to month accuracy. A single whale could tank or fly BTC to the moon between now and then. It could do literally anything in the next few months. My bets are that it will soar long term. However, there’s a very high chance that Bitcoin’s price will stay in the $7,000-$10,000 range for a 2-3 months, because market has to take some time to recover. I think the price of BTC will fall to $7,000 and at the end of the year it will recover and reach $9,000 again.

As the trend became so unpredictable by now, I would rather just say $20k by the end of the year is somewhat imposible to see. We need long years  in order to consider our holdings profitable. Certainly $10k range is achievable this year and not that $20k, because market cannot sustain the raging bearish trend and it's still a big struggles of many.
593  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin becoming a safehaven currency in Argentina on: November 03, 2019, 02:49:45 PM
These economic crisis are really getting worse and deepening by the day. I wonder what an average person will don with just $100 per month limit, that's too low, it's like dictating for people how to live their lives and how to spend their hard earned money.
In all this is just opening more doors for crypto adoption. As fiat get weaker, we get stronger.

In this situation with fiat that's getting weaker, every people tend to switch or divert their asset with crypto when government cannot handle pressures over their people. When a person isn't comfortable with how the government regulate their currency, finding another alternatives is a good options just to make their asset sustainable and feasible to earn some passive income. Their mindsets now is moving to a new wave of financial independence, in which government is out of control due to decentralized matter.
594  Economy / Economics / Re: The Risks and Rewards of Cryptocurrencies on: November 03, 2019, 02:01:07 PM
Bitcoin has outperformed other traditional assets in term of ROI this year by huge margin.
It has given returns of 200% over the investment. If you had sold at high of this year, the returns would have been 300%. No other asset came even near to it. So, rewards are pretty high in cryptos. I would like to talk about risk. BTC isn't as risky as many stocks or shares. It has decent marketcap and it isn't going to go extinct in a jiffy. Volatility could be problem. But that could be managed. So risk rewards is oretty good in Bitcoin at least.
Traditional assets are nothing in front of bitcoin. Golds and diamonds have existed with us for centuries now while it has hardly been a decade for bitcoin to be with us and yet the later one has produced millionaires and physical assets failed pathetically in this matter. Bitcoin is not risky at all. Just because it is volatile, does not mean it can be doubted. It is altcoins that can be a risky investment.

Well we have different opinion since even though bitcoins bring good fortunes to the people who can't afford much physical assets but still they are good passed be investment since there's no doubt that value of gold's and diamonds will became more expensive as years goes by and we cannot really know if bitcoins will stay on ecosystem since we all know that any funds can kill the price of the Bitcoin we experience that for so many times and for sure that is the fear of all Bitcoin holder since if bad volatility or price dump strikes for sure many people will get broke.

Many times we've been broke to that disappointing situations, but I wonder why these people who have been there for bitcoin prefers to stay behind and never left the system which Bitcoin belongs to. Indeed volatility made worst market fall upon it's undertakings, strong holders stayed on their principles, and never lose hope that someday bitcoin will be back at the top most peak of its value. I just don't care on those physical asset,  I'm only focused with digital currency this time as bright future awaits for us.
595  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WILL CRYPTO BOOM AGAIN? on: November 03, 2019, 01:21:57 PM
I think this was just one of the increases, there will be another increase not too long from now, I don't know when and I don't know how and I have certainly no clue why people say there is one when it happens (people make up reasons all the time whenever bitcoin goes up or down) but I know that the price will go up once again.

Looking at the difficulty and the hashrate there is absolutely no way bitcoin price stays the same when halving happens, there is two possibilities either the big miners will mine no matter what while making a loss in order to get small miners away and make them stop their equipment or the price will definitely go up a lot.

If the price doesn't go up and big miners mine for a loss then small miners will only close their equipment while its unprofitable and will open back up as soon as its profitable so I feel like price going up is a more realistic approach.
i am not really sure about another boom coming next.

this kind move happens once in a while , we can see it the similar thing happened in the last big movement where the sudden move up did not happen twice thrice or so.
bitcoin style is one big punch staright , i mean like in 2016/2017 where it moving from $500 to $5000 real quick at once within a week.
can we go through this market swing now and get another boom? i don't think so.

too early for bitcoin halving warming up , the support is just too weak at least for now.
So you mean we should wait for future to tell? That would do no good to us. Better would be to learn and understand the digital market instead of wasting time waiting for the boom to happen and then regret when that happens. It is nowhere near to early. Honestly, bitcoin has already come a lng way and it holds far brighter future than any other asset and currency. Invest in bitcoin. It has the habit to not disappoint.

For sure it doesn't mean to wait for more longer months if you can't do that and it's up to your decision if you want to risk to wait for the halving or immediately cashout whenever you receive a profit.  But remember many people think positive about it and you cannot earn huge money if you don't risk a cent on it.

Nowadays, cashing out some small profits was a rampant scenario, that I noticed not just for holders but also for lots of day traders who haven't get good gains since the last time bull run during 2017. I guess it wasn't easy to wait for long months just to make your profit grow amazingly, so if we're risking out that money always think big and avoid any hesitations because that's number one reason why a person fails with their goals.
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO investors are more excited on exchanges than product developments? on: November 03, 2019, 12:45:32 PM
most investors are no longer interested in ICO, because many projects that ultimately disappoint and even fail, I participated in several projects that looked good in the future, but the fact is that everything doesn't match reality, most ICO tokens are worthless, even the value is far below the ICO price.

What's more making them more eager, was having lots of money from trading exchanges and not those non sense ICO projects, because they thought it's just a headache. Looking back what happened last 2018, most projects was not gaining positive outcome that's why they've been falling down on particular issues like scam and fraudulent developers, and worst was not listed on any exchanges to have trading.
597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do when a project fails you as abounty hunter or investor on: November 03, 2019, 12:19:38 PM
When the project fails and if I am a bounty hunter or an investor, I simply accept the fact that I fail to achieve what I want with the project. I check all the things that I did before and during the project to see what are the mistakes that I have done so I can learn from those mistakes and I will never do the same thing again so I can avoid getting into the same scenario.
As mentioned nothing can be done as an investor or as a bounty participant. We need to accept the fact, maybe the next time will think and analyze choosing the right asset to invest. Lot of my participated bounties have gone worth nothing, some hasn't got listed to exchanges. Crypto market is at its early stage, without doubt the mistake done now will give a learning for the future.

We can't do anything about that but to move on, and in order that you can survive from the problematic market growth nowadays, learning to be more choosy is very important. Unlike the old days, most of the projects we seem to see and hear was too exciting once we've read their whitepaper but a failure in reality. Learning can be so harsh, and once we're moving on it must be more defined and certain for our next milestones.
598  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ascending Triangle...we are about to break bullish. 10.5K within a week. on: November 03, 2019, 10:12:32 AM
I believe within one week from today we will break bullish and reach 10.5K. Maybe higher.
Ascending triangle has formed. Let’s see.

Always good to see bullish, realistic charts/projections. I hope you’re right OP, it’d be nice to get & stay above $10,000 before New Year.

It seems realistic really but there's no bad things blockings it's growth so provably we can see a 10k$ or maybe even more in this succeeding months. And we should remember that halving is coming so provably people set aside those negativity that's why we can see a positive prediction like this coming.

More positive thoughts are coming now, we should be careful on that because it might not be so good if we're expecting too much. Possible frustration will occur for everybody who always looks after on bullish trend, and it's good to see if we're just maintaining a calm attitude while waiting for the right time. However it that's going to perform gracefully this coming weeks, let's see what would happen in due time.
599  Economy / Speculation / Re: One more dump before halving? on: November 03, 2019, 09:45:29 AM
Honestly speaking the bitcoin market is good as of now with slight improvement and not much dump except one particular dump before week or so which provided further pump, but are these manipulation just to for whales to cash out before the halving and then invest again at a cheaper value to get most profit of out it post halving? Are we going to witness major dump before halving?

It's always the frequent situations that we're going to see when bitcoin price obtain the highest price. When halving takes place we can't stop price surges to unpredictable value, and we'll see it amazingly. Though volatility happens at random situations, it doesn't stop us holding our asset until such time it reaches the most commendable price.
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: too many exchanges and will increase in the future, what do you guys think about on: November 02, 2019, 03:06:03 PM
there are too many projects about exchanges now, and everything looks the same.

do you think there are currently too many crypto exchanges? and when the platform was released did anyone use it?

if seen at this time, there are still many exchanges that do not have trading volume. then why are they still making projects about exchange?
Some the developers do exchange project because they know how big money will be involve, as you can see not all this exchanges will be successful if they lack of volume, no users of their exchange, then it will gone like a bubble. If this developers want to built like a exchange project they need a lot of PR and give assurance that their exchange will be on top like binance, bittrex and so on.

Good thing if a coin will have more potential exchanges to cater all their orders and soon increase the numbers of purchases in that specific crypto. The results will be positive and I think more great outcomes will follow through. Once a coin increases a good price, demand will also have a good outstanding growth factor to gain a sustainable value.
