581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling? on: September 04, 2017, 09:52:19 AM
I am often late from work due to gambling. Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling?

Absolutely not, and you should reconsider the amount of time you are giving to gambling. I'm afraid to say this, but those could be some signs of gambling addiction. I mean if you were on the transition from being a semi-pro gambler, that could be ok. That also happens with guys that are becoming pro-athletes. They often need home schooling etc, because they activities is very time consuming if they want to take it to the next level. If that is not your case, and gambling should be just an hobby, then it should never affect your job, since that needs to be one of your priorities.
582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 World Cup qualifications, UEFA zone, discussion and information thread on: September 04, 2017, 09:46:35 AM
The fact that Italy lost to spain doesnt mean that they will finish in the second place. They still can win the first place if spain will slip in their next matches.
Even if Italy finish the 2nd place, they will go through the qualifications.

Yes I agree with you. I mean there is Spain and Italy in this group, one of them will of course need to go through qualifications, so I'm not worried about Italy. I'm sure that one way or another, they will qualify, since they are not really playing bad.

I'm curious about the game between England and Slovakia. Only two points separating these two, so England needs to win this game. They should be more than capable, but they already have a few draws, and sometimes they have trouble scoring goals. I expect England to win this one, but the game will probably be under 2.5 goals.

584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge is Dead? on: September 03, 2017, 05:41:03 PM
I don't' think Doge is a good coin for trading, because it's price almost never moves, so you will not be able to participate in pumps and dumps, and get some profit from it. In the long run I also don't see many changes on it's price, so although it doesn't seem like you will profit from it if you buy and hold them, at least it could also mean that you will not have any losses as well. Despite all of that I don't think doge it dead, because it has some good use for gambling. BTC is just so high, that it's a lot cheaper to gamble in casinos using doge. The fees are quite low as well, so I don't think Doge id dead.

Didn't expect such an expressive win for Spain yesterday, but I guess they were very efective. If I remember well, there were only 4 shoots on target, and that ended in 3 goals for them. I curious about what Portugal will do today, and also Belgium.  A very important game for Portugal if they want the lead of the group. As for Belgium I still expect a lot from them, so I want to see if they can do better than a draw this time vs Greece.

Neither did I, especially with Italy's ascendance in the region, at least in terms of national leagues. Such a feel-good factor floating around the Spanish camp now, and Villa's last goal just brings back so many stirring memories of their supremacy... it feels like just yesterday. I would say they're just about safe to progress now. Can't see them even drawing to Lichtenstein in two days, but one shock result and a loss to Albania in October is all it takes to shake this foundation.

I think it kind of "shocked" us all, but Isco's goals were quite good, and it completely changed the game in my opinion. I expected more from Buffon on the free kick, but there was nothing he could do on the second goal. It was just to hard for Italy after that. Spain played well, and I enjoyed it, and the last goal was just amazing in my opinion, I just loved that cross from Ramos to Morata. Great game to watch.
586  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinflip on: September 02, 2017, 07:23:43 PM
The only coin flip casino I ever played was on directbet, but they are closed now. I know betcoin.tm also offer flip, but I never tried it, and I don't even know the site that well. I didn't understood 2 things though. You want a coinflip on a player vs player game? Because from what I read, you said you didn't want to bet vs the house. Also, making $1700 from coinflip seem quite a lot. Never thought that a strategy could be developed for such a simple game, but I guess it would be possible to in a player vs player game, since you are making a decision, so you can actually try to anticipate what your opponents decision is (unless he is really flipping a coin, and then it's just random, and no one will win in the end, expect for luck).
587  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start my first crypto trading? on: September 02, 2017, 07:07:10 PM
First I'm not an expert but I will give you my 2 cent. You really need to know if you can commit to a strategy. If you don't get you mental focus right, then you ill be up for big losses. Things will go wrong and you must be prepared to lose some money. So start reading trading books and articles, see some videos and try your strategy or try to copy someone else's, it doesn't really matter in my opinion. If you have the right mindset you will be able to see if the strategy works or not, and then change it if necessary, but only after giving it an opportunity.

You of course need an exchange, I think ploniex and bittrex are probably the most reliable ones.
588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: XIII FREE Tipster Competition *Pre-Launch* (Discussion Thread) on: September 02, 2017, 06:58:51 PM
I think bitbollo ideas are quite decent and could work, but I don't really mind participating if the prizes are just the ones from the buy ins.
As for buy ins I would like to see different options, but I understand this new competition could have a slow start since it will be very different from the last ones, and many users where just in it for the participation prize that directbet kindly gave us.

I would be up to an equivalent to a $10 buy in plus the fee (probably $1 fee).

As for the format, and site features, everything in that list looks fine to me, I don't really need anything else.
Also think that getting rid of those 13% bonus ROI based on the betting stake would be better. Since there is a buy in, and we will then get virtual bets, I don't see any need in rewarding "big bets".
589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 World Cup qualifications, UEFA zone, discussion and information thread on: September 02, 2017, 06:50:34 PM
Really hoping for a good game between Spain and Italy. Right now both have the exact same results on their group so this game could dictate the new leader. I think Spain is different from Euro, and I don't expect an easy game for Italy, like the one from 1/8 finals, where they beat Spain for 2 nill.
Although I think Spain will probably come as a winner, I expect a very close game for both, so I will go for the under 2.5 goals, since I consider it a safer bet.
590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's causing this bloodbath? on: September 02, 2017, 06:43:19 PM
Last time it was Bitcoin cash, before that BitCoin was on a massacre.. What is it this time?

I'm sure it's nothing. Probably just normal buy and sell. We did reach the "symbolical" $5k that many users were waiting for a long time, so maybe a lot of them start selling after that. I know I sold some because of that, and already bought it again for some profit. The China announcement regarding ICO could be linked to it as well, but I don't think it was that, since most of us already knew what was happening.

592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: August 29, 2017, 03:54:32 PM
I agree with you. There is no possible strategy do win long run in dice. But I guess that is the same thing for sports betting, at least for the majority of us. The odds are not that great, so you will probably lose long run, even if you are good at it. Unless you are very picky and only choose great odds as well, but I can't do that, and just pick a "winning bet", and accept the odds offered.
593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: August 28, 2017, 04:11:27 PM
When you guys are gambling and already doubled your bankroll, do you still play with the whole money you got or you take away half of your bankroll and start playing with your profit or not?

If I'm playing poker I normally keep it. But If I got a lucky run on dice or casino games, I remove it all.
No point in pushing my luck to far. I will lose eventually, so better stop when I'm winning.
594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: August 28, 2017, 04:09:29 PM
I am just wondering if you still would gamble if you would have enough money? I mean, now as it is, do you gamble for the fun or for the profit?

Sure I would. I do it because I kind of enjoy it, so it wouldn't matter how much money I had, I would still gamble.
595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 28, 2017, 04:08:27 PM
I enjoyed the games I saw from United so far. I wonder if they will be more consistent this year.
I agree with you on Arsenal, I don't see them going far again. Already had a beavy defeat vs Liverpool. Let's wait and see though.
596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: August 28, 2017, 09:59:03 AM
I don't want to be a professional gambler. I don't have the skill for it, and I don't think I would be able to handle the stress of not having a regular income. I play and bet with low stakes, and when I get some profit I just keep withdrawing and buy online stuff with it. If I got a huge amount I would do the same. Withdraw the money and buy stuff with it. I don't think I will ever try to increase my stakes.
597  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: August 28, 2017, 09:56:25 AM
I do not gamble to much but it always seems that when I do, I take the loss big time.  For example, I have lost over 3 BTC in the BustaBit game online.  It is fun and I like to play but I always get greedy with it.  I have won about 2.2 BTC back, but I lost more than what I have won.  For some odd reason, I keep coming back over and over.  I do not know why I do it, why do you?

I don't know. I only play poker and do some betting. For me it's the emotion I get when I play poker, or when I bet. Also a chance to test my skills, and of course, to try to win something.
598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you determine whether you are addicted to gambling? on: August 28, 2017, 09:54:59 AM
How can you determine whether you are addicted to gambling?

I don't know. Maybe when it starts getting problems to your life, or at least when you are spending more time in gambling than on anything else.
599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: August 28, 2017, 09:52:58 AM
If someone which follows the set of rules and be discipline enoff. Can people make 50-100 $ a day just gambling in online casino.....?

I don't think you can do that regularly on a casino. At least not on dice, slots, roulette etc
You can do it in poker of course, but I guess that's the only casino game that has some strategy in it.
600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: August 28, 2017, 09:51:26 AM
Just curious since the last discussion I had was about gambling vs trading. I know trading can seem to be a bit of a gamble as well, but I see it a little bit like poker. It's a combination of math and psychology. Maybe not the same ratio though, just generalizing  Tongue

I agree with you, and I like to see that you've mention poker as well. For me it's the same, you need some luck, but there is a lot of skill involved. You are risking something, so yes, it's like gambling in my opinion.
