while there was a problem with poclbm miner's GPU usage looked if it was throttling @ 80-85%, phoenix/phatk was fine @ 99%

change your miners for a while Wink

587  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: How to use GUI mining in Windows Server 2008 X64 on: June 01, 2011, 12:23:38 PM

588  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mtgox doesn't work? on: June 01, 2011, 12:15:39 PM
Exception!
In order to trade on the exchange you must add either US Dollars (USD) or Bitcoins (BTC). You can redeem your funds at anytime.

I wanted to add some coins
589  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Please test: New Experimental Pool "Eligius" on: May 31, 2011, 12:00:37 PM
The EU pool on Eligius has been having bad luck recently.  Only two blocks solved in the past week!  Average should be about 3-4.
It's a pretty small pool, so you are going to have runs of good or bad luck like this.  When the luck is better you will make a lot, when the luck is bad, not so much.
Luke: since Eligius is still a little pool, why not join the eu and us pools together to minimize the variance?

just noted that with phatk kernel I can run on both us and eu servers and it divides hashing power evenly 50:50 unlike poclbm
590  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: The effect of latency on: May 31, 2011, 09:43:55 AM
you submit shares, they turn into a block eventually, but because you lag behind, more are being rejected and in rare occasions you can make an invalid block

acceptable, well it depends on pool taxes, you could live with 180ms and 0,5% tax, 99% uptime versus 70ms and 2%, 99,9% uptime
591  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: The effect of latency on: May 31, 2011, 09:26:31 AM
yes, you have more stale shares
592  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Hidden web miners are ruining my life. on: May 31, 2011, 06:34:31 AM
it's not money laundering but those fags running that kind of websites are giving Bitcoin a bad name
593  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: 5770 acting really strange after my pc was disconnected on: May 30, 2011, 09:01:07 AM

594  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Huge ~40% Drop in Network Hashing Power (5/27/2011) on: May 28, 2011, 06:14:57 AM

595  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: I manage 10,000+ computers, how to mining ? on: May 27, 2011, 09:33:31 PM
good lord i hope hes a troll
can u imagine 10000 computers joining up?
i wish he said he had 10,000 people who were interested in investing in bitcoins lol

of course he is a troll, a stupid one, if he can't figure out how to start mining himself, how could he be managing not 10 000, but 10 computers...
596  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: SDK NOT important on: May 27, 2011, 10:57:41 AM
MTBF is ~50 000 hours, if you expect to mine with your card for more than 5 years....then use SDK 2.4 ...
597  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Radeon 5XXX with Radeon 6xxxx on: May 23, 2011, 10:13:08 AM
the only problem was that after I removed 5870, 6950 started to freeze win7 x64 when I play shockware flash videoclips(with or w/o hardware acceleration) Angry
598  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: [MINER] Phoenix - New efficient, fast, modular miner **BFI_INT support!** on: May 20, 2011, 01:45:15 PM
i have a 2 6950 (FLASHED to 6970) in crossfire i cant pass the limit of 355 Mhash/s using this command line for each device
[ start /dC:\phoenix phoenix -v -u http://mi******@gmail.com_0:*****@www.deepbit.net:8332 -k phatk device=0 WORKSIZE=128 VECTORS BFI_INT AGGRESSION=12 ]

i was hoping with this crossfire get closer to 375 Mhash/ per gpu.

thanks in advance

phatk gives more only on ATI 5xxx GPUs, use phoenix with aggression=11 and fastloop for 6xxx
599  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Large Roadblock to Bitcoin being accepted by Large companies on: May 19, 2011, 10:13:24 AM
There probably should be an enterprise client, or rather an enterprise system for handling bitcoins. Every large transaction would need to be approved by upper management.

it's open source, just find programmers and they could code whatever management you like...

at the moment make separate wallets for every dealer you have
600  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: GPU's Can't Stop Mining? on: May 18, 2011, 09:29:33 PM
cause RPC errors buy either unplugging your cable or disable LAN card, wait till 0Mhash/s on all miners and use ctrl+c to stop all not just one
