Firstly, I least expected the starting eleven I saw. But it's a credit to Ole for having the guts to try new things. Martial started and had a goal in his name. This is to tell you that Manchester United has good finishers that can get goals; Ronaldo, Martial, Greenwood, Rashford, Cavani and Sancho, Bruno and even Pogba. The problem just lies in Defensive midfield, I am surprised why Manchester United does not want to solve that problem. Rather they prefer gambling Fred there or forcing Pogba to augment for the position.
The weakest link in Man Utd squad is lack of a quality defensive midfielder, Fred had not been protecting the defence line very well, that area isonly the weakest link in the team, Matic is neither a better option too, while Pogba is more offensive than defensive, I think they should have addressed that problem in the last transfer window. I agreed with rotation and resting of some players by Ole, Everton is also a good team which can't be underrated, from my own ooint of view EPL has become too competitive for all the big teams, gone are days when the big teams will always beat the smaller ones. The problems start from Ole, the man doesn't have the skills / knowledge to be the Man Utd manager, he just can't! Neither the defensive line nor the midfield has serious issues. The players need someone to push them to produce big, be serious without making ridiculous mistakes, and at the same time to enjoy playing. It's obvious that everyone else can do whatever except Ole who is the manager! Another game that Man Utd threw point to the sea... |

In the most interesting match today, Atletico Madrid - FC Barcelona, I bet on the victory of the hosts, but no result in this match will surprise me. The guests have not lost a game in the league yet, although there are many objections to their style of play. They are definitely playing below their abilities. Atletico had a good start to the season, but in the last game they unexpectedly lost to Alaves, one of the weakest sides in the league. However, I believe that for a match with such a prestigious rival they will be properly focused and they will be victorious.
If Atletico Madrid doesn't win this Barcelona team, with all of these troubles that they have, then I can't see how they will win the title. They already threw in the garbage can 3 valuable points against Alaves, so a win is a must. For Barca what can I say? Every game with any team is a derby for them. Probably one of the worst (if not the worst) seasons of their history...  |

Harry Kane scored a hat trick against Mura 05 yesterday. He may be back in form. We haven't seen a better performance than Kane in the last few Premier League's matches. His performance in today's match is very commendable. Tottenham won 5-1. If Harry Kane and Min Son can perform like this in the upcoming matches, they may be in the top 5 of the points table in a few days.
We can't be based on yesterday's Tottenham performance for their EPL matches. Mura is perhaps the weakest team in the whole European competitions and EPL doesn't have such low-caliber teams. So yes, Spurs played well, score a lot of goals, and for sure gain confidence for the upcoming games but against Mura IMO all the EPL teams will have "great" performance. |

Spurs will face Mura and even if they will play with reserve squad, I expect them to achieve quite big win. IMO, muravis one of weakest teams in tournament.

I don't think any of us expecting such shock result. Barcelona can lose but 0 - 3 is a shock result. I don't feel any strange or surprise if Barcelona lose matches with their squad. They are becoming another Arsenal and I think Messi can feel happy now in PSG. He would have not been able to do anything now, if he had stayed in Barcelona.
Since the departure of Messi, Barca is a whole different team and it seems that all are full of stress and anxiety to prove that they can deliver without him. This needs time but Barca is a team that can't wait. Hopefully, they will correct soon one of their mistakes (hire another manager) and from there will have to find a way to unstress the team and realize that will need time to rebuild and forget Messi. |

It's weird. Real Madrid's performance is inconsistent and unpredictable. In La Liga, they look good but after a big win against Mallorca, their performance seems to be dropping (draw against Villarreal and had to lose against the Sheriff). Real Madrid play at home and they played a full-strength side but they failed to get all 3 points from Sheriff Tiraspol.
In my opinion, Real Madrid's defense looks fragile and Sheriff Tiraspol could take advantage of it, though they had few chances.
This is Real Madrid's old problem. Last season, Real Madrid had such games in which they lost with complete dominance, and now, with very weak defensive play, such results will be frequent. It is difficult for Madrid to play against teams that have been on the defensive for the whole game and sometimes go on the attack. Real Madrid by name is a team that knows from the start of any season that almost all the teams that will face and play, will deal with it with a defensive orientation. So I don't believe that because Sheriff plays defensively Real faces some unexpected and huge problem. They have a lot of chances to score and finish the game but they stumble in a very good kipper (for yesterday) and in Sheriff's big luck in attack, with 3 shots on target delivering 2 goals. For sure though, Real needs to build up their defensive strategy and cohesion. Ramos and Varane are obviously missing for this season's Real team... |
