The only thing that we can do is to tag them and try to prevent other members (especialy newbies) not to deal with any of them. I can t think any other way. |

Hey condoras. Unfortunately for you the unicorn sticker is on its way to Mbitr as we speak. I have not looked into getting others, but I might because I really liked it too and hated to see it go. Very good and helpful thread, congrats! Hopefully, you will update it with new things, providers, etc. as time goes by since internet privacy is a top priority for all and things change fast in this area.
Btw, something (a bit) irrelevant. It's true that the best way for online privacy is to use TOR but besides the reasons that you and others already mentioned, the main issue is people's safety if they try to use it. So perhaps it will be good and for sure helpful, to create a guidence thread regarding how can someone use TOR safely. Just a thought. |

From my experience, the "best" cloud mining platforms were a pure ponzi.
Get a pidgeon to sign up, and you get extra hashpower. What they mean is, get a pidgeon to pay a fee, and we give you a small portion of that money, which you can probably never withdraw because the minimum is absurdly high

Think about it, why would a cloud mining platform sell it's hash power to you, when it can mine itself?
The simple answer? Because is far more profitable for them. They all promise "buy a $10 plan to earn $15". Who gives away $5 for free? come on
The thing is that they don't give $5 and even if they did, you will get them after 5-6-7 months. But what we are talking about here? For pure scams that sell hope... |

I put several things not true just to make it look like there was activity on the site, but I soon realized that it is not worth using false information. This is just a kind of simple and amateur lottery that I wanted to do to raise some money, I'm honest, and I know that every scammer would say that, but I have principles
So a liar who thought that he can easily fool others with his fake/ scam scheme and get their money, it "recalls" (after his scheme uncovered), that he is an honest person with principles... ROFL!
unfortunately in the last few months i have seen similar things, the desperation on the part of the people who were unemployed due to this pandemic is leading people to look for any way to increase their money, i would not be surprised if someone believed in this scheme and deposit 20 BTC.
It's true that if you are desperate, can do more than "crazy" things. I really dought though that people desperate because they are unemployed due to this situation, will even have 2 BTC in their pocket, not 20... |

If that's the real case, then you can cancel it, an amount will be deducted from your ETH and resend it after you fix the fees. Also, how you send it in the first place since it will more than sure that you been notified that your gas is low? Greediness causes problems and now you "stuck" with it... And as LFC_Bitcoin said, No Collateral=No Loan (even if the amount is 1 sat). |
