The problem is not only waiting but for how long he should wait. As the hours and days pass by the frustration increases and at the same time, OP might think the site may scam. The best solution would be that the support should look at this case and reply to him that he should wait for the tx confirmation. This way he will be relaxed as it is only the matter of transaction being confirm and no manipulation of scam by the site. You are mostly right but we don't know all the parameters/ details of this specific case, not even if the one who asks the amount is the real support of the exchange. With a very small checking test, I tend to agree with you and I will not deposit anything there but I might be wrong. |

What if it's btc I want to buy with cash and that's why I'm here? Makes sense doesn't it? ATMs take a large fee, exchanges and other in-person services reveal identity, lots of legitimate reasons I'd want to use cash with trusted escrow to buy btc even if it's not as common. Very polite guess though  That's true but in order to keep your identity secret, you have to "pay" a (bigger) price. Either a lot more regarding fees or making an in-person deal, with whatever that entails. Unfortunately, dealing with straight cash is not the best option (atm) for buying BTC unless you know someone in rl. Perhaps to try getting a debit crypto card that has no mandatory ID verification? Still, your limits will be low but it's something from nothing. No offense, you don't want to know my impolite ones. I've seen more than a lot over the years, so excuse me if I offended you. |
