On a similar note, I propose we all set up a day when everyone in the world starts running east for an hour. The added momentum opposing the earth's rotation will slow the earth down and make the days longer. We can do that before winter instead of daylight savings to make days longer, and then all run west in March to make the days shorter again. Who's with me?

Note to self: Remember to don't hump my new coffee table and type at the same time. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Nah, i'm just typing all of this on my android tablet, and sometimes the autocorrect gets wonky.

This wasn't a scam. I am extremely honorable, and never scam or steal peoples money.

There was, uh, nothing to sell, so no money to return from proceeds of the liquidation? You know that is not an argument. If it fails, it fails. (Everything will be sold off) and (money redistributed to investors evenly). Just drop it and leave me alone -.- I'm too busy to deal with this right now.

Can you guys hurry up and post the next round of this internet bitch fight? I have to go to work in a couple of hours and I need my morning drama fix before I leave.
Bump. Only an hour and forty-five minutes before repentance has to go to work. Help a fellow BT'er. Let me try... WHO CAN'T YOU JUST LEAVE ATLAS ALONE?!!If you keep bullying him, I'M JUST GONNA KILL MYSELF!!! And then I'll kill all you too! That'll show you!

i'm keeping the money already donated, sorry. WHAT? Look man, I'm glad I didn't invest, and I called this a scam from the first reply (Although you didn't pick up on that I meant Scamcoins when I said Solidcoins), but this is just low. It seemed you might actually want to do this at some point, so I changed my view to "he's not a scammer, it's just not a very well thought out plan." Then there's the fact that you JUST posted that if this didn't work out, then you would give the investors their money back. Well listen to this: Closed because of lack of interest IS that it didn't work out!If it fails, it fails. Everything will be sold off and money redistributed to investors evenly. Stand by your word, and return the money to the people, or I'll see if I can get you marked as scammer. There was, uh, nothing to sell, so no money to return from proceeds of the liquidation?

Agreed. Free inevitably leads to thinking "Too good to be true." Even scammers know that if you want to scam someone, you have to make them feel like they worked for it (by scammers I mean salesmen, though there's often little difference).

*Sigh* Fine. Closed due to lack of interest. ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif) i'm keeping the money already donated, sorry. I'll see if I can come up with something better tomorrow. Too busy tonight and have to concentrate on cleaning up and preparing for my fancy Italian dinner party this weekend. Not kidding about being able to cook btw. This was last New Years Japanese dinner ( Osechi-ryōri ) where I spent two days preparing 14 different dishes from scratch: http://bit.ly/sBAFkc

spread knowledge of the existence of bitcoin without improving the services or products.
This part I've always found most confusing. By saying Bitcoin doesn't have services and products, I guess you are implying that USD has services and products? So, what is a product of US dollars?

As I said, there's also the issue of assuming every one of these free energy things is invented in US, or in a country that supresses them. Competing governments like China, North Korea, or Iran would LOVE to get their hands on this tech just to show up the western countries. Why aren't these inventors selling to them?

But more to the OP, what can I buy with bitcoins that I cannot buy with paypal? Ok, drugs from Silk Road. What else?
Not much... yet... but we want an alternative to fiat money. We want anonymity. We want to backup our money (without FDIC). We dont want inflation. We want control. Tell us how Paypal will help us with that? Paypal is the wrong example. Tell me what I can buy with Bitcoins that I can't buy with Verifone? Anything from China, India, Russia, or other distant country without a $20 to $40 international transaction fee. So, um, you can buy a lack on an exorbitant fee.

Okay, I will look at the example of a kid on a playground. The kid sits on a swing, pumps their legs, and starts moving, seemingly getting free energy. Have you seen how much sugar kids eat? The kid is burning chemical energy taken in from food to pump the muscles at the resonant frequency. It is not energy for free
. It IS free energy on Halloween. We're just not taking enough advantage of it.

You two are just making it worse for the both of you. Have you considered calling each other to resolve this?
Matthew, what you're doing in this thread is a low blow. You are already aware of my opinion about it.
Atlas, Matthew seems like a nice person, and since he's giving his time away to you so freely, you should consider taking advantage of his free counseling when he calls you. Otherwise, try finding someone in real life to help you out. You need to get out of this state of denial.
This post does not represent the opinion of the moderation staff of Bitcointalk.org.
Maged, you're wrong. Denial Detected
Considering ones mental state is VERY subjective, I'll say you're both wrong. And insane.

Wine out of a fountain machine is kind of ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) I don't drink alcohol, so wouldn't know...

Do you know how much energy fridges and coolers pull? It's one of the most price intensive posts in any restaurants list of costs.
While we're on the topic: How are you going to serve drinks? Especially things like wine or anything carbonated?
It,s a pretty cold area somewhat high in the mountains. Doesn't get too hot out there. As for drinks, maybe a wine fountain machine where you refill your glass like you do with soda? Truthfully someone took the concept of "no human interaction" too far.
I think that makes my idea for the location even better, because our seniors are already quite used to a lack of human interaction. Japanese are even building robots to replace elderly care nurses!

Lolectrolysis! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Only slightly more confusing than how magnets work, and just as ridiculous. But, BUBBLES! And Hydrogen! Obviously every time you make hydrogen, you create energy, right? Anyone?

About time! Maybe now they can concentrate on Christian terrorists as well, like the ones firebombimg abortion clinics and mosques, shooting up holocaust museums, planning to shoot up police funerals, and blowing up or crashing planes into government buildings.

Rassah, could you give more information, such as estimated overhead; cost of the robots/kitchen equipment, how other restaurants in the area fair; will it also accept cash/credit or be bitcoin only; what food, water, gas and electricity would cost.
Electricity costs $0.13/kWh there and gas and water are pretty cheap too. I meant to be more specific about it, but flubbed up when asking: what do you estimate would be the operational costs of water, gas and electric come the end of the month and the bills arrive? Seems like completely automated cooking and delivery would bring in a hefty electric bill for the robots alone. I don't know and won't know until after the robots are designed. Probably not much more than about $1,500 a month for gas and electric, which is less than one employee would cost.
