5881  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to minimise the trading fee? on: March 28, 2019, 01:52:33 PM
Any recommendations?
Currently in Australia, I would like to seek for an exchange platform with lowest trading fee but also with regulation.
Don't shoot the unregulated exchange to me, I hope my currency to be safe.
Are you sure you want to find a cheap fee? I suggest not to get too fixated with cheap fees, you should think of quality, look for an exhcange that has a good level of quality, it will have no meaning when it is cheap, but the quality of the exchange is not good. Believe that when you feel comfortable in an exchange you will be able to successfully make exchanges.
Cheap fee also matter mate, you know it depends on what every trader is capable of investing for trading and when it comes to trading, you have to consider the trading fee to be able to start making profit quickly and looking at this exchanges too, I feel it is just greed that is affecting most of them, most of these quality exchanges has lots of volumes which should have made them bring the charges on trading low but yet, they still charge high.

Quality matter too, I am not disputing that fact but cost of trading also very important thing to consider. Trading with lower fee will make the trader make more profit.
5882  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest any time? on: March 28, 2019, 11:58:57 AM
Never buy a coin when it's on its all time high. I made that many mistakes before I finally learned. Never chase that hyped coin and if you really like the coin then wait for it to go down or fluctuate and then analyze the price that it's safe to finally buy.
Simple and clear, it is not that an investor cannot invest any time, the timing of every coin in the market varies, we still have lots of coins that will be registered in exchange this minute, this hour, so the best is never to buy that particular coin of interest at the peak price but study carefully though the necessary chart and analysis to fully pick the best time to enter the trade.

The reason why chart is necessary is to really determine if the price has really reach its peak because bitcoin had once put me in this situation, I was lucky to have quickly made my decision, when bitcoin was around $8000 during the bull run, I could almost conclude that it was the peak, waiting for it to drop, it was through chart that I was able to know that I could still invest at that price.
5883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is right for investment?? on: March 28, 2019, 11:28:56 AM
How do you choose altcoin in the current conditions, when you want to invest in cryptocurrency? Do you see the price or popularity? Share your suggestions and I will appreciate it. Thank you for your comments, success is always for us all.
It depends on the form of investment that you are opting for, when it comes to long term trading, sure, price and popularity will play their own role too but the best way to go about the investment is to choose your investment based on the quality of the project.

If you invested in a project that will crash overtime irrespective of the price or its popularity, you will end up losing your investment in the long run but if you are going in for a short term trading, it is fine to use the project price and popularity to make your decision and when it comes to price, you have to buy when the price is at dip and not peak so you can sell high when it has attain the price you desire to sell it.
5884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICO's Dead? on: March 27, 2019, 07:57:07 PM
Too many number of ICO that does not have working product will make bad effect in ICO market. Demand of ICO still high but investor really choose only good project with live product. ICO market need regulation to avoid fraud and to protect investor.
This is the major point of the matter; many ICOs coming up really need to ensure that the project has an amazing product that will make people rush for it.

Let’s take a look at Samsung, let’s say they decided to enter the cryptocurrency industry too and create their own coin, no matter the level of dumping that will occur from non-serious investors, it will never bring the project down because their products that is high in demand and will always be high in demand will tend to balance the equation.

Hence, most team should not just come up with a project they ordinarily believe in their own eyes to be good based on their own personal exposure or assumption but what is really in demand generally.
5885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The crypto space must be sanitized on: March 27, 2019, 07:26:04 PM
The cryptocurrency crowd funding industry has gained a tarnished reputation over the past couple of years due to an abundant amount of scams, ponzi schemes, and projects that don't deliver on their promises and a lot of this has to do with a lack of awareness so it's very important for investors to conduct their own thorough research and due diligence with each offering whether it be an ICO, IEO or STO and not just rely on benchmarks, hype or the latest launchpad to ensure the investment is worthwhile
We can’t really conclude that all investors that has been a victim of scam didn’t conduct their proper research before investing, as far as the crowd funding is in form of ICO and not IPO, any research you will do on such ICO is based on the whitepaper presented and can never come in form of physical verification since the location of the project we are investing in might even be as far as another continent, it is anything we find on the internet we believe and will be difficult to really filter which one is true or not because virtually all the whitepaper of these projects looks very good and the team looks serious on paper.
5886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction also a result of trauma? on: March 27, 2019, 01:27:59 PM
Generally, only weak mind gamblers become addicted very fast, not all of them. But it is really hard who to save them from addiction. Because i will tell you in my words but act upon wise it is hard to do it. Addiction is very bad it is like a poison in our body. So it is not matter is it addiction of gambling, or drug or anything, but it will be destroy our life, So we should keep it our mind and control ourself from addiction.
I don’t think only weak mind gamblers become addicted. Those whom you refer to as weak mind gambler may probably be that way as a result of one single trauma they suffered from in their childhood. Like someone who has suffered loneliness or who has lost a parent might just grow up to become an addicted gambler.

This has nothing to do with control of the mind, the victim might just see gambling as a means of catching fun at the beginning but before you know it, he would be increasing the fun by spending a lot of time and money on the game just to satisfy his or her desire, he would be thinking his healing the pains and won’t be long, the player is already an addicted gambler. I think it is best for those who has suffered any form of abuse not to gamble at all
5887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever managed to recover your losses? on: March 27, 2019, 09:05:40 AM
If I total all lost in gambling I thinl more than 5 bitcoin since I played gambling but now I really recover my lost a little but not literally all of my lost but it's okay for me because I still have more time to recover it and I will make sure I will recover it when this year end.

If luck bless you then definitely you will achieve your goal and recover it. But be aware because it is not easy to recovering the loss, most of the time when we try to recover the loss in gambling then gambling give us more losses, even out of range. Its my experience of gambling, that's why i quit to recover the loss, i do play just for fun.
I don’t think luck would play out here. This situation needs more of wisdom, strategy and then luck can now come in. For someone who has lost up to 5BTC and still on the journey to recovering more I would say that is really a dangerous mission.

I am happy you have successfully recovered some but ill advice you learn to start playing for fun and try to abort the motive of going on the journey to recover all so as you might not end up losing all the ones you have earned or the ones you’ve been able to recover so far. Just my little suggestion though.
5888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nasty Sell Walls are killing the free cryptomarket on: March 26, 2019, 08:37:04 AM
It is one hell of a reason why we need to also learn to really play along with theses whales, because they are very smart and already been an experts in this manipulation of a thing, best option really for now is to pause selling on those coin we earn or bought by holding onto them for so long, like you said, by doing so, the sell wall manipulation will become useless to them.

I leaned that another way one can use to play along with this whales is also to learn how to make use of chart analysis, I was told one will be able to know when they will pump or dump a particular coin through this, I haven’t tried t though, still thoroughly learning more on chart analysis but for now, I am seriously holding my coins.
5889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dice - why do you play in a particular casino? on: March 26, 2019, 08:01:41 AM
It is the features and if there is additional technology than what we have now.  In reality it is the advantage one casino has over others that makes us to gamble in those sites.
That’s very right because most times I do that comparison a lot. The world is advancing in technology so it is expected for all casino sites to always upgrade. Some of those features that I personally don’t  forget to consider are the graphics and the payment system. By the time, I list out all the features of the sites and I compare with others then I choose the one with the best features and those features are what actually give it advantage over other sites. But, the greatest advantage a site can have over others is reputation. A site that has never had scam history will always be considered the best over others.
5890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling.. way to loss on: March 26, 2019, 07:20:06 AM
As a matter of fact playing gambling is way to make money instantly but there is small assurance that you can really make money from it. In addition to that, most of people still take the risk to play gambling because of instant but I think there are good and bad playing gambling to gain instant money. However, if I need instant money sometime I play in my favorite gambling site which I take the risk to play in order to earn instant money. but it's depend to the people if he/she will play.
Maybe if I need to have instant money I rather to keep it than to play it in gambling but it will still depend to the people on how he/she can gain instant money.
I see life generally as a risk and i am not afraid of taking risks. If i have instant money, I wouldn’t mind risking it to play. Who knows what would happen just by playing.

At least there is hope that i might get it back in double fold, so i won’t be scared of trying my luck after all holding until it will not increase the money and there is possibility of spending it on other non-important things. That remind me of the story of my old time friend, he walked down to a gambling location and according to him, the money he had on him that day was just the last but he just felt like playing, so he played it and that was the beginning of his breakthrough. He was lucky that day to win a huge amount of money that transformed his entire. What if he didn’t play?
5891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does online gambling operations manage gambling addiction? on: March 26, 2019, 06:49:21 AM
I know "Brick n Mortar" casinos have special counseling and advisors on call for people with gambling addiction and they also apply some measures for the gamblers with gambling addiction to "ban" themselves.

How can online gambling sites deal with gambling addiction? The Brick n Mortar" gambling sites have a social responsibility and local licensing requirements than needs to be adhered to for them to operate in a specific country or town, so they cannot avoid doing this.

Please give your inputs and ideas on how this can be done with online gambling sites.  Wink
I don’t understand the idea of Brick and Mortar casinos applying a measure for gamblers with gambling addiction to ban themselves. Addicted gamblers would never accept they are suffering from addiction in the first place, so how do they expect them to ban themselves.

If this site actually cares about addicted gamblers, they would be able to know gamblers who are suffering from addition from their history and then auto ban them, and also request that they seek professional help. But, I have the feelings that most of these sites make more money from those addicted gamblers and they will find it difficult to put measures in place to automatically ban an addicted gambler and advise them to look for help.
5892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: March 25, 2019, 06:53:03 PM
Bogut is better because he doesn't require the ball that much. When you have Draymond who doesn't require the ball that much that is great for you, when you also have Bogut that means you can forget about 2 players to score, they can definitely get couple of baskets when they are wide free but that is not really what they are there for, they are there to fulfill a role they were given. That way you can share the field goal attempts between curry and Klay and Durant, even Klay doesn't usually get as much as curry and Durant but sometimes he just goes supernove and hits a bunch of baskets.

When you have everyone on the floor trying to score, than it becomes a challenge between who will be shooting, after a while some players will be like "it has been 10 possessions and I haven't touched the ball yet" and that is not really a good way to distribute the ball.
5893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: March 25, 2019, 02:42:17 PM

they have no value or has a very low value and transferring it to other wallet cost more than its value so i just ignore it maybe one day their price rise up lol
This can really be annoying and frustrating when you consider the total quantity the exchanges are proposing to pull when you request to transfer some coins to your personal wallet, usually, it is not a good advice to leave your tokens on an exchange for so long due to security reasons but one have no choice that to leave them in this case, so many of my altcoins that I have attempted to transfer ended up remaining on my exchange when I consider what they are about to charge.

I am still believing that one day, some of those shitcoins value will increase and with the hope that the coin will not zero and disappear completely to thin air.
5894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Accredited Investor Portals for buying ICO on: March 25, 2019, 02:11:51 PM
What do you actually mean when you talk about crypto accredited portals, are you not referring to ICO or STO , STO are very much regulated by the government and they are investment platforms where investors can invest money into a project in order to make profit in return in few months or even years, one of the popular company that carried out an STO recently is binance exchange which is the most popular crypto exchange in the world.

I don't understand the part you are talking about down payment, maybe you can throw more light on what exactly you are looking for.

Our coin fails the howey test so it isn't considered a security, however the SEC may not agree until we release the beta version of the project.

Most of the ICO/STO platforms charge significant fees to list your coin on their site.  Coinlist was charging $50k last summer, now charges $20k, I'm not sure what republic charges yet but I think it's somewhere between 2k-5k upfront.  They also typically charge 2-5% of the proceeds from the sale in addition to the upfront fees.
But have you looked at the IEO option, though I don’t know how much Binance charges for their Launchpad but it will be the best platform for you to really take advantage of now that it is still new and gaining attention of great investors and if you really want to meet up with your target without much delay.

You seems to look like a very serious and committed developer, though I don’t know what your project is all about yet but whatever the project is, I do wish you best of luck and I hope you get all the necessary support you need, kindly update us from time to time on the development so we can also partake in it and give you necessary support from our own end.
5895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sparkster: ICO Investors Threaten Legal Action Against Sparkster on: March 23, 2019, 06:37:50 PM
Now the lead of Sparkster excuses his mother to escape, so humiliating, I hope investors in the UK will take him to jail. Ian balina is an unreliable person, do not believe what he values, everything he does for money, not an honest person.
For the fact that he promoted the project doesn’t mean he is a member of the team, if it were to be you, wouldn’t you do same thing.

If he was a team in the project, fine, it would have been justified if they had arrested him but he is not, the people they need to focus on now are the project managers and sue them if possible but I doubt if the investors can completely win the case because there is no written document backing their investment other than the transactions made via the cryptocurrency system which is yet to be recognized by government of by the law, so I see another shit project walking the face of the earth freely .
5896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIT COINS WILL ALWAYS DISAPPOINT on: March 23, 2019, 04:37:21 PM
Shit coins as always a shit coins and it cannot help them to get your profit in the future, if you pick up the shit coins it is always disappointed and maybe your capital it maybe loss we must have to check it first before you buy them.
If you try to invest in shitcoins has a Short term investment, it is quite very risky because one cannot tell the exact hour or time the coin will pump or dumped except by analysis and that is why many traders make it more with shitcoins than a normal investors because shitcoins to requires technical analysis and fundamental analysis to decide when to jump into trade.

Some of us usually think that all altcoins starts from bottom the very first day they enter exchange, in short, this is not the case for 50% of them, some have the tendency of having a high crash in price first because some of the holders that earn the coin freely dumb the coin immediately it enters the market, so we still have to watch the coin settle and wait for when it bottom fully before buying such coin.
5897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Hard Cap on: March 21, 2019, 07:38:28 PM
If you are into any ICO that has no plain clean info please just stay away and move on ,many of these ICOs gives out only fake Info's just to lure innocent people, be very careful
I think OP should post that ico here so that everyone can look into it. Scammers are really getting better at what they do and it’s very difficult to spot fake ICOs these days. I don’t know if any of you heard about Benefit, the high profile ICO scam in 2018. Nobody was able to tell it was a scam, even icobench gave them 4.1 out of 5, lol. All the things you will look for in legit ICOs was there on Benebit and everyone believed it was fake until they got busted. Long story.

Is it normal that an ICO has a Hard Cap of 72 million dollar? And as of now I cant find the total supply of the coin so that I can compute the total supply and the value per coin, and I guess they should also put the total supply in their site. What do you think?
It can be possible depending on what kind of ICO is that. But these days there are lots of ICOs that fakes everything just for them to be able to attract investors. At the end of it, when it gets listed on an exchanges you will get to find out that everything was just fake. Just be very careful and hold a proper research before you take any move making investment.
5898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Got a Job after loosing hope in Bounties on: March 21, 2019, 07:04:11 PM
First of all, crypto bounties are not for life feeding. I usually put bounty campaign earnings to passive income folder. If you don't have any hope about your future earnings in bounty campaigns then go out , create your CV and get a job.
Lol, I’m surprised how people always think that cryptocurrency is the answer to everything and they are going to make money from it funny. If he wants to be self employed and working online, then bounty campaign is not the answer he needs. This bounty campaign should be just a side hustle and not a main job. He can start freelance job, that is much better.

Bounty campaign can’t be your main job, you need a real job and you can only have this one as your side job. If you don’t want to be working in an office then the best thing you can do is start up your own business where you will be selling whatever you want. Everyone has to work and I do know how boring it is sometimes to work in an office, but it can only boring when you’re not being paid the amount you want.
5899  Economy / Economics / Re: One small step for Bitcoin one giant leap for Crypto on: March 21, 2019, 06:18:21 PM
Yeah. It Happened as shown on the graph but the only thing is that it didn't hold off for long.
Hopefully, another bull run that can hold off for longer period will happen soon.
Maybe we would see the price reaching new all time high then.
I do not think that there is any form of bull run than can hold on for long because once the bull run has reached, you will see many people dumping the coin immediately since majority of them are in for the profit, this action will intend force the price of the bitcoin to go bearish again, so I don’t really think that there can be any bull that will hold long except the price pump was a gradual process and not the way it sudden jumped high in 2017.

If the bullish trend takes little step at a time to climb up, then it can stay at the final bull price for long.
5900  Economy / Economics / Re: Study says 79% of cryptocurrency event attendees are men on: March 21, 2019, 05:40:58 PM
I think this is normal because men often like to take risks, analyze and want to make their own decisions. Women often do not like jobs like this, so there are quite a few women involved in investment.
Besides, women tend to think too much and make things mess, decide by emotions, ... these are weaknesses of women in the field of investment.
I think aside cryptocurrency, men are generally better with investment than women.
Majority of men, live daily planning for the future but women on the other hand do not  know how to safe, let alone investment.

Women always have immediate needs to they want to take care of but men would rather want to be sure tomorrow is safe before thinking of today. And like you said men take risk but the few women who would have even considered investment will immediately back out the moment they know there’s  a little risk involved.
