Bitcoin is just in rough position right now. Once more companies and governments accept the coin, it'll gradually stabilize.  Wink

I dont think it will be like that. Let say many companies using bitcoin as their other payment, but government they will not that easy accepted that because this bitcoin can't be controlled and goverment must take full control of it so it will be stabilize so I think it doesnt have a chance
5922  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 07, 2015, 12:19:33 PM
The simple practice of risk vs reward is always a must in bitcoin. Investing is the more profitable option rather storing is the safest option. You should know this! Smiley

Yes its true but if you can do both why you only do the investment? Sure both is profitble but the higher risk always investing and the storing things is the safest way to earn some money altough the result is lower than investment but it still worth

Since i bought Bitcoin, the price decreased 40%, not a really good investment, or atleast it carries alot of risk.

But the potential reward is also good. I mean i look for atleast a 1000% return, so my current -40% pending loss will be dwarfed by the potential profit.

If you just invest in bitcoin better not to use that bitcoin for anything, just stack it as many as you want but its a little bit risky right? So if you really want to get profit better do trading with some of your bitcoin that you bought may be that will cover your 40% lost altough its not too much but its worth to try rather than stack it just like that
5923  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: May 07, 2015, 12:16:05 PM
You can also get a second job. And by the way having a goal is crucial, because otherwise saving will be meaningless.
How do you say that having a goal is crucial and savings is meaningless. Having a goal will added to your willingness to save. This would help your patient. But it will become meaningless if theirs something happened and you need to pull out a money like emergencies.
.
yeah better the deposit on bank or insurance. i think that's option for save he money

Insurance is not an option to save your money. With insurance you just spend some of your salary to it and you can directly cashout if one day you really need that money and you can't get all of it in 1 times. The pprocedure is to much when you want to cash it out
5924  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: May 07, 2015, 12:10:08 PM
Some of the gambling opportunities are actually not that risky. For example, betting in favor of Mayweather in a fight, or betting in favor of Madrid/Barca winning a match. People make a lot of money with those. Of course usually the odds are in favor of them, so it means you need to risk more money to get better results, but it usually works, I made some cash with the last Mayweather fight.

Gambling with low odds also can lose, like Manchester United match, who bet him will lose a lot. That gambling things is always too risky to play, better make do some bitcoin trading to get some cash. Slow but sure

Lol, and how trading isn't gambling? It's a game of odds that a stock will go up, just like it's a game of odds that a fighter will win a fight or a team will win a match.

The things is we dont gamble when doing trading. We just hope the price will skyrocketing and when its the time we just sell it then get some profit, so we dont do the gamble here. The price is too volatile, not any people here start to gambling with his bitcoin in trading. It is so risky
5925  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I start Investing USD? (Betterment?) on: May 07, 2015, 12:06:52 PM
Just stay away from fiats, keep it all on metal, stocks (very few) and Bitcoin. All of the fiat you need just keep it on your local fiat, thats what I would personally do.

You can't ask people to stay away from fiat. With this fiat we use it to buy bitcoin. If you didnt have any fiat how can you invest in bitcoin? How can you do things? You need some like may be 20%-30% fiat then the rest you can use for invest or whatever do you want to do
5926  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: May 07, 2015, 12:04:14 PM
waiting for the wave to start, then i buy or sell depend on trend
For the newbie you always should be careful with your trading. No one knows when the trend ends. You may be left at the peak and not get out quickly. Don't invest too much at the beginning.
Observe first the trends and if you see that the trends is good. now you can invest your money any value you want.

Its not that simple. If youe really know the first trend, bitcoin is too volatile and you need to play it fast if not you will lose some profit. Like for example the trend is going up and you are buying and wait it till its highest then suddenly drop instantly and you still hope it will raise again. That will make you lose a lot from it
5927  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: May 07, 2015, 11:54:17 AM
Did you earn some bitcoin today? If so, how did you do it? BTC

Earning 140% of my investment from www.CrazyPonzi.com. It is not everyday, it is in every 120 hour. But I am more or less satisfied with this return. It is kind of calculated gambling for me.

Is that true? Because I every ponzi is always run away after they got enough of their money plus when I saw this website it say that this is a gambling game? But still give use $140 return altough some of them got paid
5928  Economy / Digital goods / Re: wtb hero member on: May 06, 2015, 05:45:02 PM
That means they are just wasting their time create hero account and then sell it to people for a cheap price. Why are they doing that? Many people will think that this is like a scam account or may be got banned before or any other thing might happened to this account

Not everyone creates accounts to sell at a later date. If you've got a spare Hero account or don't really need it any more 0.45 is still a decent amount merely for a forum account but I agree it seems silly to sell so low and the account is worth much more but sometimes people just need money or want a quick sale.

Yeah I know some of them is really need money, but do they need to sell it for that cheap price? It was their hardwork for at least 1,5 years. Why will they do that? Better use it for signature campaign or other else rather than selling it with a low price
5929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NSA is attempting to crack Bitcoin? on: May 06, 2015, 05:42:58 PM
If they can crack mine, they deserve the 20 bucks I have in my wallet

Why they need your 20 bucks? Your 20 bucks is not worth for them, they aim bigger. If they can crack bitcoin then your buck means nothing to them and they have the power to control all of bitcoin in this world
5930  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: May 06, 2015, 05:26:05 PM
If dollar crashes...gold will go to da moon
BTC also? - i hope so

If dollar crash I dont think bitcoin is going to raise too because bitcoin is somehow related to dollar too. If it crash bitcoin will have a chance to collapse too and we need  to pump again or at least maitain it so dont let dollar drop for now

if the dollar collapses, it does not necessarily mean that bitcoin will crash too, bitcoin in this scenario can suck euro value or another fiat currency, or we can simply restart from zero and base its value on goods(the same they did with the fiat currency when they were born)

But still for dollar is the highest currency and if bitcoin suck euro that means at that time euro must be the highest one right? And its a wasting time if you start again from zero. Need to gain slowly but if that can be done its good then, if not how are we going to do? Bitcoin will sure collapse right?

I don't see how Bitcoin would be hurt by it. The natural process would be Bitcoin draining any other dying values, just like Gold does in times of uncertainty with fiat.

Like I said before dollar is the highest payment and it correspond to bitcoin. Its like coin, one sided is bitcoin and the other side is dollar, so it really affected bitcoin when dollar go down. And I hope dollar just stay the same and bitcoin will raise again to the moon for sure
5931  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy now or wait ? $41,000 to invest in bitcoins and litecoins on: May 06, 2015, 05:23:56 PM
Wait until an uptrend is confirmed man, really... just look for some good trader and ask him when an upswing is beginning. It's easy to see, but I wouldn't risk telling you when to do it. Everyone kinda agrees this is a good spot for buying and they could be right I guess.

But we really dont know when the trend is coming? If you buy now for example and lets say in a few days it will downtrend so what are you gonna do? That is a little bit risky, its like gambling too. I think you ask some one that can predict well when will the trend coming
5932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the usage of Bitcoin now on: May 06, 2015, 05:19:37 PM
bitcoin can be used in a lot of things! It can be used in nearly everything normal currency is, its just that we need to get people to use it and start accepting it. Theres hardly anything it cant be used for!

Whats the point of using bitcoin in a lot of things? Or you mean in many ways? I guess bitcoin is just as a digital currency that you used to buy something from market. Or may be use this digital money to invest on something. Its just like that
5933  Economy / Digital goods / Re: wtb hero member on: May 06, 2015, 12:26:45 PM
I sold one for 0.45BTC, because there were no serious buyers. So I believe that he will get one for 0.4-0.5BTC.

Was it a Hero Member account that you have created or one that you have bought?
Because it does matter.
and what is the difference if it wasnt banned or negative trusted

The difference is that to create a hero member from scratch it takes a little under 1.5 years with countless hours of posting.
You tend to appreciate that more rather than an account you bought.

Aparently though, FeelTheBeat gave it for only 0.45 because there were no buyers.
He should have waited IMO

That means they are just wasting their time create hero account and then sell it to people for a cheap price. Why are they doing that? Many people will think that this is like a scam account or may be got banned before or any other thing might happened to this account
5934  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Retirement Account on: May 06, 2015, 12:19:39 PM
Sounds like a terrible idea unless you diversify.

This is not a terrible idea because everyone in this world need retirement fund so they can live happily and one more thing that I can add is bitcoin always make a new variation and people nowadays are start to use it as a new kind of payment in this era of technology

Assuming everyone needs a retirement fund to be happy (which is something I disagree with), wouldn't it be a terrible idea to only have Bitcoin in that said fund?

What if all my savings are exclusively BTC (i.e no diversification) and they turn out to be worthless in 10, 20 or 40 years, how am I suppose to live happily?

then you put 50% only and be happy anyway, no one said tu put everything you have in bticoin

but bitcoin still looks to have more chance to grow than dying, so even 66%-75% would be a good bet

Yes its true. I agree on you. I dont think bitcoin is gonna die for a decades. So if you invest some of your fiat in bitcoin, it still worth and you may get a lot of profit from it. And its all depends on you whethere you want to convert it or not

5935  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: May 06, 2015, 12:15:42 PM

Yes. All alt coin beside Ripple should be considered outright fraud (pre-mining, instant mining without letting anyone know).

There are plenty of completely legit alts but you're right, overall their track record is wretched. The ones that make the most noise are usually the crooked ones.

I guess you are misunderstood this altcoin. The one that make most noise usually crooked but its not for altcoin. See the volume of some altcoin and you know that is not crooked. Dont judge the books by its cover, you can't predict anything is this altcoin is going to the moon or not
5936  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I start Investing USD? (Betterment?) on: May 06, 2015, 12:11:06 PM
Dollar is still the number one currency in the world. We can invest some amount to it and need to allocate some to other investment to spread the risk.

Yes for now dollar is the number one currency? Howw about in decades? You can invest it in gold or silver is higher profit because everytime gold always in a good price and always go high never going down, if its going down it will be for a while then it will going up again
5937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NSA is attempting to crack Bitcoin? on: May 06, 2015, 12:02:02 PM
First NSA had already broken Bitcoin, now they are attempting to break it? Are we going backwards in time?

So what do they got after they break it? And why OP ask the same question again? Will NSA break this again for the second times?

No, they are just assumptions, but people got their assumptions backwards, I guess.
What exactly is different between breaking and cracking Bitcoin? Isn't this basically the same thing. If you crack it you break bitcoin algorithms, right?

I think that break is going for the security and cracking is for the code but I dont know what are they use that for? Are they going to take full control or not after break into this system. That is need explaination
5938  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: May 06, 2015, 11:56:34 AM
Utilize your free time and not to consume every penny what you earn.

You always need to spend of your money at least at little bit for your personal things and you really need it. No matter what you can't cut your personal things you just need to find more jobs or make more profit so you can save some penny
5939  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cost of Bitcointalk Accounts. on: May 06, 2015, 11:51:12 AM
I guess it depends what kind of financial state people are in. Somebody might be in financial trouble & need cash quickly, maybe for an overdue bill or something. I personally wouldn't do it but maybe a legendary member could be desperate for 1.5 bitcoin quickly.

I guess we will never know everbodies finances or personal issues.

I guess thats not a problem but why should he sold his legendary account? It is not worth, you build that rank almost 2 years and then you sold it just for some cash? It doesnt make sense and bt its too cheap for 1.5 btc
