5981  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Refund lists for round 17 of Dz Coop. on: March 10, 2014, 10:26:51 PM
I got an email back saying I got refunded however, bitcoin-qt conveniently started up today saying I need to re-index. pisses me the fuck off. Bobsag3 knows what I mean. I'll find out next week sometime when it gets finished unless someone else has some sort of trick to speed this shit up.

Would you guys prefer faster blocks and quicker difficulty adjustment or merged mining with BTC?

Merged mining would ensure the best network security, and is the route I would prefer, but we would need to find someone to help us put that in. I think it's the best solution to keep the coin supply where it should be, but also increase network hashrate and get it somewhat stable

How does this merged mining work? It is compatible with the pools?

5985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptogenic Bullion | The Gold Standard Virtual Precious Metal | CGB on: March 10, 2014, 11:08:15 AM
It is with great pleasure that I announce the most recent updates from the Cryptogenic Bullion development team!

Client Version 1.1.6.6:
-   Updated splash screen
-   Updated logos
-   Updated checkpoints
-   Fix to getbalance vs listaccounts discrepancy

Download here:
http://cgb.holdings/#download

Work has already begun on Version 1.1.6.7 scheduled for release in about a month. Below is a sample set of the features we are looking to add in the next client:
-   Visualization of PoS staking and estimated time until next reward
-   Button for unlocking wallet to stake instead of having to go through the console
-   Update checkpointing code

Lastly we have been working on a complete rework of the website (design and content) which will be released shortly.

Stay tuned!

I'd love to see getnetworkhashps added to the next update.
5986  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Refund lists for round 17 of Dz Coop. on: March 10, 2014, 02:40:47 AM
I should be done with most of the refunds... its been a mess.

Going to make it easyer from here on out (Phil please add this to the OP so people stop asking me the same questions)

Send an email to: support@minersource.net

Include:
Forum Name
Order Number(s)
# of Shares
Refund Address
Original TXID of payment

If any part of this is missing in the email, I will not be able to process the refund.
Any email sent tonight will be taken care of by midnight mountain time.

What info do you want if the shares were transferred? I wasn't the original purchaser...

Thanks

5988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SHA-256D][KGW] BIG OIL COMES TO CRYPTO: THE PETRODOLLAR (p$) on: March 09, 2014, 06:38:03 PM
That is correct.

To put it in cryptocurrency terms: 50% of the total coins will be mined within the next six months and at block 43200 the PetroDollar will turn into a version of bitcoin that destroys itself, block rewards halving every five years.

looks OK to me, however - to be the harbinger of doom and gloom yet again, it's gonna take some dedicated miners to keep this coin active, I hope the hash-rates we are currently seeing at pool are going to continue after block 43200 for the good of P$. This is one coin that can succeed, but it's going to take dedication. I'm putting all I can into it, which is currently a 50GH/s BFL (the rest of my rig is all old getwork hardware and I can't get my proxy pointing at any of the P$ pools to hash correctly.)

My bfg proxy point to my P$ pool just fine... What seems to be the problem?

Hi guys, I'm on Pitythepool! and seem to be building up hundreds of unconfirmed coins.  Any idea what's preventing them from becoming confirmed?

umm yes. the network needs to find 120 more blocks before a block is confirmed. read back in the thread to see why they are so slow.

yes, trying to.

I just purged my git pull and re-cloned it. It completed this time.
