5002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GAW Hashlet ROI Tracking on: August 27, 2014, 02:32:05 PM
regarding hash rates/graphs, I think they were having problems with them since introducing merging of hashlets. Seems to be reconciled today, but still keeping a close eye on their profiability.

Now that they are 24.99, I won't be getting any more though.
5003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [XPOOL][MULTIPOOL] DarkCoin (DRK) & BitcoinDark (BTCD) - Paid out $14k!! on: August 27, 2014, 02:25:48 PM
The latest shift for the Darkcoin multipool paid out over 27 DRK.

Cheers!
5004  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ZenMiner (unmoderated) service discussion thread on: August 27, 2014, 02:21:54 PM

So did we got an answer for how the in the world does zenminer makes that much profit mining comparing to other pools?

they take nearly 50% back in fee's. So while the initial earnings look much higher than typical pool's, I think they earn it back by their service fee... However the service fee's reduce over time...

maybe I'm wrong though.
5005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Potential Markets de-listed from Bittrex on: August 27, 2014, 02:03:16 PM
I fired it up again today and it managed a connection and staked a few coins.I am still trying to contact the devs but am getting no response. There is an interest in a takeover by some good people I have been doing some back and forth with but they will need full access to everything nescessary to maintain and develop the coin further with new features etc. Also the problem with dispersal of the coins and seperating dev coins from investors etc so some form of proof of fair ownership or something was mentioned.Nobody wants to be working to build something and end up rewarding those who have caused issues in the first place. Also some great ideas being thrown about regarding vendor adoption opportunities but those things take time to get right.

Anyway nothing can be done without cooperation from current developers.Wonder who is doing all the voting on poloniex because dCOM is way ahead of all other coins.

this belongs in the dCOM thread.

Move it along over there
5006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will bitcoindark (btcd) can be mine again? on: August 27, 2014, 01:54:46 PM
What do they mean by: 1.6 million PoW / 22 million total

does it mean after 1.6 million POW, people will be able to mine the coins again?

The remainder of the total coins are now only generated through PoS.

You can however, mine on my BitcoinDark (BTCD) Multipool and get paid in BTCD.

To whoever is packeting the bitcoindark.org webpage, please stop. You are effecting my personal business and i will pursue legal action for this.

Does your hoster not have the ability to stop that?
5010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NEW FuelCoin - FC2 Re-Distribution x11/pos 2% interest on: August 26, 2014, 10:20:43 PM
I think the dev walked away. was really quite a drastic change they did and probably got in ay over their heads. it's gone no where since a few of us for FC2 coins.

Just a few questions here. I threw my miners on http://btcd.xpool.ca/ and I'm mining on the x11 algo. All my rigs are pointed to the same wallet but when I look at "my shifts" nothing appears. Is there a way to make sure I'm actually getting paid? Also my coins in my wallet have 992 confirms, when do they start staking?

What is the exact workername you are using in your miner configurations?

-u RWAZkV89waNwz6dxQHgYVdRTbVe3uyfhKd

Looks fine to me:

http://btcd.xpool.ca/miner?worker=RWAZkV89waNwz6dxQHgYVdRTbVe3uyfhKd

~21MH/s X11

Cheers

I also always dump the other coins through LTC markets if they exist as then I end up with more BTC versus a straight exchange to BTC.
Based on my multipool set up i only receive BTC so i directly exchange them to BTCD

exactly. I tend to stick to mining coins and dumping them for a couple reasons. One being it brings down their prices (competition) and also can take advantage in upswings. On the downside, it's higher maintenance.
fiat is the competition

this is true yeah,

try lowering intensity to 11
again rejected.

never mind.
I will continue with x11

By the way do you know how many BTCD I can get with 15mh/s scrypt per day at this moment?

curently scrypt profitability is 0.4320 BTC/GH/Day
so that will make it about 0.5 BTCD daily
i will add a profitability calculator on multipool site this week

Thanks!

You can see my stats here

http://btcd.xpool.ca/miner?worker=RDTVREbjF5JeyteiHd9Q6Q5hJRgEnuwrkV

Scroll down to the scrypt section. I have about 8-10mh/s scrypt and usually make 0.5 - 0.8ish BTCD per shift. Varies depending on the overall pool speeds.

Cheers!
with profitabillity of 0.00033057 BTC per MH per day with 10 mh scrypt you get 0.0033057 BTC which at current price of BTCD will be around 0.4 BTCD but you get 0.5 - 0.8, can you please tell me where do you buy BTCD i currently use bittrex for the multipool

I use a combination of 4 exchanges.
well they all have about the same price except for atomic

do you buy all at once or throughout the day?
all at once on the Ask, its automated

mine is trading throughout the day so catches dips in price etc... might be enough to make the difference. same with the coins it's dumping. where as you're set to a fixed return by tapping into nicehash?
