James
I understand your thinking about 'why would people use a knockoff' but i have to say, i think there will be a massive wave of clones once your concept enters public beta. Perhaps this should be a very serious working assumption in the strategic road map.
He's already taken care of that aspect by coding in such a manner that cut/copy/pasters won't end up with a working coin.

I voted one year for free teleport, I think 3 months is too short a time frame to get adoption and network effect. A year in my opinion is good enough to establish the use of btcd as a gateway and get enough traffic. We should think long term, this makes more sense to me 3 months is a year in crypto! I think we would like to try and minimize the scam coins taking advantage of the BTCD network at our expense... yeah? I voted 3 months and think that was already generous...

Anyone know of any new multipools that are supporting this coin as they seem too far from and only one or 2 about???
What do you mean?

Can someone help me to find out the source of increasing network hash rate ?? Unless... 10 MH/s at CryptoRush.in 40 MH/s at Hamsterpool But total network hash rate is 100+ MH/s ? There was 10-15Mh on www.hasher.ca but not anymore...

Well I am fairly sure I am mining on the right fork, if not I've wasted a ton of power. iSpace/P2pool and a bunch of others are all on that fork running about 10.9K diff right now, the others are much lower like that one p2pool node at 15 diff. If Poloniex doesnt start working I might have to see about selling some CGA direct or something.
Log a ticket with them to have them check. They've fallen off the proper chain before.

yeah all my dep to polo have gone into lala land. Turned off the coin on my pool and haven't looked into it yet. My wallets wern't displaying the warning about transactions so my guess was that polo was/is off the proper chain.

As I wrote earlier, it's terrible! I made a translation of the exchange and wait for confirmation 4 hours. A confirmation is still no !!!!!!!!!! This is normal I do not want to be rude and send someone to hell, just good luck !!! Your asking about a transaction correct? Blocks are taking a while to find right now.. your transaction will be delayed!! What a bargain postponed? Are you an idiot? How can you work with a coin, which has confirmed more than an hour? Example: You buy something and sit (masturbate) yet confirmed your translation. It is very convenient in a sex shop, but not for me. I am very sorry that my useless 6Th worked in the pool. Open your eyes to reality! And do not be offended by my true words. Your 6Th would pick up a some BTCD at btcd.xpool.ca

James, would it be possible to get automatic proof of stake by our addresses in blockchain? I mean we won't have to leave our wallets open for staking. The system will check PoS through the blockchain.
If this is possible it will be a great feature, I suppose
But then you aren't staking, so don't deserve extra coin. If people aren't staking, then there's no BTCD network supporting the coin. Yea well I'm not staking because the wallet is using a gig a day because of rogue nods on wrong software.....it needs sorting Jon He gave you 2 suggested IP's to block. Did you?

is it possible tos e the whole network hash rate somewhere? coin-miners shows the pool rate as the net hash rate and time to block is "61074694510704 hours 58 minutes 40 seconds". WTF?
it needs to be coded into the src. not hard to do really. I've done it on a few poorly coded coins.

Been reading up in this thread about this coin and i think this is solid stuff. Pointed 2TH towards the xpool and are considering adding another 4TH. Only downside seems to be i missed the release Thanks a bunch! Payouts are daily M-F after 7 PM EST. Cheers http://btcd.xpool.caJust added some new coins to SHA which just jumped up the profitability. Would be good to get on this now. Aye the SHA multipool seems to be doing quite good so far to be honest Good thing you masked mined coins with .xXx. Yeah, I spend a lot of time researching and keeping coins up to date, just to have other pools doing the same as mine I must say, that's one of the nicest looking pool websites I've ever seen. I'll be pointing some miners at it tomorrow. Thanks mate. Appreciate all the support. We all need to get as much BTCD in our wallets before the price really goes crazy. sha256 190.58 GH 0 confirmed 290560 unconfirmed Put some on now to test fantastic, thanks

edit: I just looked more closely at my *coin machine, and right now krugercoind is taking 20% of one CPU core. I wonder why?
and that is just idle. No idea what its doing, but add it to a pool and have people mining into it, and it'll be 4x-5x more CPU. The 15 second block time probably doesn't help with resources. Out of the 58 coin wallets I currently have running, KGC has the most blocks (over 2 million - more than double the next highest) and ranks third in overall RAM usage (532MB), and first in resident RAM usage (495MB). Could just be that the db is growing too large and getting out of hand. Perhaps a redo from source which uses leveldb, and a change to block time (double period) could do the trick. If not, it's only going to get worse. sounds plausible. fastcoin behaves in a similar fashion and has fast block times and a huge blockchain. I would think changes as you suggest would help if someone was able to do a hardfork and if it would survive it.

Are we officially counting this coin as dead, yet? or are there still active pools
The wallet needs some performance fixes before I'll put it back on my pools. It was a huge resource hog. Interesting, never heard this. Since KGC is just basic PoW it shouldn't be too hard to redo the code by forking from more current source of another coin. Has anyone else experienced such issues with KGC? edit: I just looked more closely at my *coin machine, and right now krugercoind is taking 20% of one CPU core. I wonder why? and that is just idle. 5 workers on mokux and 250th/s+ Again, working over 51%? well if any one is mining on there that on this thread please stop pointing to mokux and go to manhattanmine. Same problem would exists there.. Although it looks like the big hash rental on nicehash is currently in dead state. now gone from mokux too i still see 140 Th/s Why is this so difficult?!? If someone is renting so much Hashes just use the pool with the lowest hashrate!!! Turn your brain on!!! (@ posters above: I donīt mean you with this of course. I mean the renting guy) I think its someone renting with a malicious purpose. I suspect it is as well.

Some fun facts about my BitcoinDark Multipool since it's now 1 month old. BTCD Paid out to miners: 5966.68445000 Todays BTC value: ~25.13400191 Canadian Dollar value: ~ $14,000 Thanks for your continued support and may we double our numbers this month. http://btcd.xpool.caCheers and Happy Hashing! You are making calculations on current price, that is not same as price before 1 month Of course, which is why I said today's value.... but isn't everyone holding anyway??!
