61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trend or long term projects? on: January 31, 2024, 05:52:15 PM
Crypto is mostly unexpected and we don't know which token will give us high profit. sometimes we expect a big pump in the token and we believe that this project has a lot of potential but this token performance remains low throughout bull and bear season just like DOT and Cardano while some coins we often called them scam and spam pumped hard like ORDI, Pepe, Floki. It's all about trend when trend end then no one want to buy these coins.

What is your suggestions about profit from altcoins. Should we rely on only buying long term projects or we should invest according to trend despite of looking that trends coin will have no value in future?
All coin cannot give you profit and most of them are only profitable according to trend but after sometimes they become useless. The better way to earn money is that buy a coin according to trend and if it slightly pumps then sell your coin immediately because there is no guarantee that after year it will be same successful or will goes into dip.
That is why many people buy altcoins when they are first launched and make their profits and leave. Some altcoins are just like Ponzi Scheme, those who came and invest early make money or profit and those who came late would be the ones that face loses. So that one of the highest risky aspect of investing in altcoins. So if you want to make profit invest early and not procrastinating it. You can withdraw your capital and invest with the profit to see how the coin will go in the future.

I will also say invest according to trend because once tht trend stop the project might collapsed and as I said you can continue the investment either with the capital or the profit made from the investment. And all depends on the profit you made from it.

One thing is for sure - when investing in a new altcoin, it is better to sell it immediately after listing on the stock exchange. And then you can buy more, if you want, because at the start of trading, everyone starts selling and rolls down the price. I lost money on this many times, because I did not sell and hoped for growth, which was after a long period of time and in very rare cases.
There are exceptions, but they are very rare.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Monero so unpopular? on: January 31, 2024, 03:07:22 PM
Privacy is a necessary feature in my opinion, but why hasn't Monero become a main coin?

Monero is a privacy focused coin that makes it popular to people who wants their payments to be untraceable. And Monero is so much effective in that sense that it is one of the most used coins for people laundering money, funding terrorism and providing illegal goods and services. It's the coin of choice for darkweb marketplace. It is often associated with crimes and hence considered a criminal coin.
That's why it's a prime target for law enforcement agencies. They are doing all they can to crack down and stop the use of Monero. They have made it such difficult to buy and sell Monero that normal traders and investors who have nothing to hide don't bother taking the trouble of owning it.

They made buying and selling more difficult, is that so? Monero can be bought on almost any exchange, including binance. Monero is also sold on exchangers. But, I wonder why it is not available on decentralized exchanges...
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you feeling the old professional bounty managers? on: January 30, 2024, 04:36:30 PM
Those were golden days of Altcoin wherein could have easily become rich just by joining in bounty campaign but post first quarter of 2018 everything got changed and scan projects started popping up and this damaging the reputation of reputed bounty managers and left them to take abuses from the users and red trust from DT members. Devs were not even paying the bounty manager and they had enough of it and decided to stop brining the bounties and either they became an active participants as Bitcoin paid signature campaign and some have silently moved away.

Everything is correctly said about bounty managers.
I personally remember those glorious times and I remember how it all ended when the crypto winter came. Of course, there were a lot of bad companies, but it was possible to filter them out, then the bounty and ICO disappeared altogether for a long period of time. These are just different times and everyone is aiming for retro drops, in the future they will come up with something else.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Monero so unpopular? on: January 30, 2024, 04:13:36 PM
Monero is very popular in narrow circles, but not all beginners have heard about it, so it's easier to keep money in bitcoins, due to the growth of the latter. Monero is used to launder dirty money, including dirty bitcoins. The scheme is simple dirty bitcoin - montero - bitcoin. The money was laundered, but it is stored in bitcoins or in stablecoins, therefore there is no big increase in the price of Monero and its popularity.

Who told you Monero is used for money laundering?

I watched a big interview with a man in uniform who is engaged in crime investigations, and it was he who told about the scheme of laundering bitcoins through monero. And it looks true, since I've been studying how the monroe blockchain works.
65  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Trading Strategies for Newcomers: Pointers and Suggestions on: January 30, 2024, 04:00:12 PM
Has anyone tried trading through bots? They are advertised everywhere and talk about big profits. Has it always been interesting, has anyone tried them or are they just useless programs?

67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Believe, "Passive Investors Make More Than Active Investors?" on: January 29, 2024, 01:47:34 PM
Are there any active traders among the people reading this topic? It is very interesting whether it is possible to really make money on this, or if there is a negative experience. They write a lot of things here, but no one shares their trading experience.

69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top altcoin that you won't buy anymore on: January 29, 2024, 12:39:22 PM
ETH, USDT, BNB, XRP, USDC, Cardano, Doge, Solana, Tron, Polkadot, Polygon, Shiba Inu, Toncoin, WBTC, etc etc are the top altcoins which I won't buy anymore because it's centralized, can be frozen in non custodial wallet and low security. There's no point for me to buy those coins since I need to check my coins everyday and make sure my coins not disappear.

Only few coins can be trusted, one of the example is BTC.
It is not easy to invest in altcoins because your mind will never be at rest. Bitcoin is the best to invest in because it is more decentralized than any other cryptocurrency you can think of. If you don't want to take the risk of investing in this altcoins it is better to go for bitcoin because it is more reliable to invest than the top altcoins in the market. Altcoins are are highly risky to invest,  bitcoin is more preferable to invest without any fear.

I completely agree with this opinion. But, I would like to add that we must not forget about investing only 10% of the total fortune in one asset, since this is a diversification of risks.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs in the Real World on: January 29, 2024, 12:25:44 PM
The possibility of establishing a market like that is completely gone, when NFTs were first introduced this is the first thing that came to my mind, since an artist that expresses their art mainly through a digital media does not have the advantages of those that use more traditional methods to create their art.

NFTs seemed like a great way for those people to monetize their talent and for collectors to finally become capable of fully owning a digital image, but scammers ruined the reputation of NFTs, and now I doubt there is anyone interested in collecting art this way.

I don't understand NFT collectors at all. For example, a picture can be hung on the wall, but what to do with NFT? Just knowing that you have a collection on your computer is ridiculous. In my opinion, NFT can have one use - proof of ownership for artists who work in the field of web design and film creation, advertising, etc.
I understand what you mean and if you were to ask me I think the main attraction of NFTs is not really as pieces of art or as a proof of ownership, but as vehicles for some people to launder money.

As with NFTs, those people can just create a bunch of NFTs and buy them with their own money, this creates the illusion that a transaction has taken place and they can declare those profits to the tax authorities of their country and make that money legal, when in fact no transaction took place as they just sold those NFTs to themselves.

This is a very interesting opinion about the use of NFT in money laundering. But what about the fact that own NFTs should be evaluated by an independent party, because when checking the transaction by an interested party, they may ask the question - why exactly such an amount was paid for them?
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs in the Real World on: January 28, 2024, 05:10:50 PM
NFT? Aren't they dead? Well, I don't see NFT as a proper way of investment. Instead, I see them as a trend that has game and gone after some time leaving people with nothing. There was a hype at the beginning but right now I don't see much movement in the NFT market.
So them coming back for making a change or impact in the market seems like a fairy tale. The Golden era of NFT has died and I don't think it will ever come back. And it is also hard to make real life NFTs. You cannot input blockchain data in real life object. They can be cloned or copied so there's no way for a proper validation.

I've always wondered about the essence of NFT projects as investment in the long, I've never been a part of any of their communities because I really don't understand their vision, all I see is their focuses on games and arts. I guess they'd have to sale a masterpiece to a very rich art enthusiast or a celebrity to earn their tokens, my concern is that the art piece can be duplicated and anybody can have it, except the buyer keeps the original. I'll agree with you that NFT is a trend, and if they don't add any new innovations, then they're as good as dead, with investors funds going down with them. I don't know much about NFT so don't take my words as facts.

72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make $5,000/DAY With Passive Ethereum Arbitrage Bot on: January 28, 2024, 04:14:22 PM
This is another advertisement about earnings. If you could earn $5,000 a day, you wouldn't tell anyone about it. For me, it is very doubtful if someone tries to make money using this bot, please write about the result.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to farm airdrops on crypto? on: January 28, 2024, 04:05:34 PM
This is only my opinion.

Find a tokenless project and research about their platform. Take note on the tokenomics on their docs. See if theres a community incentive rewards/airdrops of any allocation. This is one thing to note before doing anything.

Do these common task that probably present on their platform as they are still prelaunch their project.

-Bridging and swapping
- Adding liquidity
- Voting for proposals usually in cosmos eco or dao
- Minting NFTs releases
- Lending / Borrowing of funds
- buying domain names
- Staking some possible tokens like atom inj and tia.

And viola AIRDROP it is when the time they launch their project. How to spot if its good? Usually it is followed by big projects or dapps on Twitter and some OGs.

I advise you not to study anything, as you will spend a lot of time on it. There are websites and telegram channels that track all airdrops, if possible, you need to take part everywhere, because sometimes the most dubious project can make a big profit.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking Hidden Gems! on: January 28, 2024, 03:56:05 PM
These three areas are where you would find hidden gems Defi, AI, and Memecoins if you are seeking good ROI. You would need to do your research before you invest in any crypto from those niches. No one here would recommend you a new cryptocurrency as it would look like a promotion. Go through different blockchains and find out what are the upcoming projects on those blockchains. As of now, Solana has some good projects coming up you can find details if you check their social media handles.

these are good suggestions but since he is new, i think sticking to BTC or simply just going to the top L1 projects will be best for him since its always the L1 projects that will make a good run during bullrun.

ETH, SOL or BNB will be the next thing should he have if not BTC. the prices of these tokens will always go up in the bull run, the information about these tokens is easy to understand too for someone who are new in the industry.

I absolutely agree with this, you need to invest in ETH or bitcoin. I invested a lot in other coins and nothing good came of it.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins profits or bank profits, which best? on: January 28, 2024, 03:42:06 PM
If you have a lot of money, then it is better to put it in the bank and get a stable income. And if there is little money and the interest on the bank deposit is scanty, then I would advise investing in altcoins, preferably in the top 10. But you may have to wait for years for the altcoin to grow, so you need to invest at the beginning of a bullish trend.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Notcoin mining on: January 26, 2024, 02:41:28 PM
I mined automatically, using a click script, via Bluestacks, 700,000 in 3 days. And my referral, whose link I have already registered with, has 25,700,000,000 coins. So I'm not sure if I should continue.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About Altcoins Investment Experience on: January 26, 2024, 02:16:09 PM
I did invest in lots of altcoins and i received many tokens from bounties as reward. I experienced that, most of the tokens turns into shitcoin or dead after a few months. Some Altcoins performed very good for a certain time then all of those lost 90-95% of values and still traded on exchange with so called volume. Thus process is continued. Even top altcoins also replaced by new altcoins. 2017 vs 2023.

Moral: I think BTC and ETHEREUM is better option for investment, Can be trusted blindly, profitable for long. Low Ranked Altcoins, Memecoins and shitcoins are just headache and reason of huge losses in long time. But anyone can invest his money wherever they want.

As if he voiced my thoughts, there are also a lot of coins in wallets that cost nothing, and how much time I spent on this is just terrible. I should have sold what I earned right away, but I decided to wait, in the end I didn't get anything. Don't make the same mistakes.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dead Coins: Over 50% of Cryptocurrencies Have Failed on: January 26, 2024, 02:01:59 PM
The most interesting thing is that at this point in time, I come to the conclusion that Bitcoin and Ethereum are the main whales in which it is best for a beginner to invest. Four years ago, I invested in several ICOs that are just scam, which makes me very sad. If I kept my money in Ethereum and didn't buy anything, I would be happy. In general, the industry has become very similar to pyramids or SCAM projects, it is faster to raise money to list on exchanges and then come what may.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin (DOGE) on: January 26, 2024, 01:49:11 PM
As time has shown, Dogecoin is a fairly popular cryptocurrency, even if we consider, for example, 2018. I actually recently found a long-forgotten Dogecoin wallet on my computer and was very glad, because then they cost nothing and got to me for free, but now I can sell for $ 300))

He writes about NOTCOIN, and if you follow the link, then airdrop on TONCOIN  Grin Grin. And in general, the site is one-page, created on a free constructor, I did not go further than the start page.
