So all of a sudden my VERI tokens are not showing up in myetherwallet.com is it just me?

nevermind they show up if I click on "Tokens (Ethplorer.io)" . Before now they were just always displayed at the left. Oh well

For what happening right now, its a battle of ico's. Many investors will keep an eye on this coin. Will try all the possibility to have this coin on the day of crowdsale.

This crowdsale just ended for a token that seems very similar. Veritaseum

Thanks for advertising a different closing time then the real contract closing time,  Great work Veritaseum Team.

Made me transfer round a whole load of coins and wasted gas and time.

Yeah I'm fairly sure the clock was wrong.

Can someone please verify that this method is still open so I can at least send the ETH and receive the tokens?

it is extremely dangerous to send ether to a commented ether address that may be modified. I understand this can be frustrating, and it is better to keep your ether and participate in the after market than lose your ether!

Ha yeah you're right, that would be stupid. But you can look it up on the website yourself.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: VERITASEUM DISCUSSION THREAD on: May 26, 2017, 04:59:34 PM
It is 13:58 EST right now. So if it closes at 14:30 EST it should still be open.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: VERITASEUM DISCUSSION THREAD on: May 26, 2017, 04:45:52 PM
I tried 1,500,000 Gas,

I cant buy this token and not happy, this contract will not work

Is the ICO finished? I thought there were at least 5 hours left but the timer has been taken off the website

Why can't I find when the token sale ends? There's no date on the website or anything.  I have to admit this token looks exciting but the organization is an absolute disaster, one of the most difficult sales I have ever researched.

If you go to the Veritaseum website:

http://veritas.veritaseum.com/

Look at the top of the page.  It says "Sale Close" and has a countdown clock.

Thanks, but that website has been down for awhile now.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but are the Veritas tokens that you are selling used to purchase your research, or to trade derivatives on your Veritaseum platform?

You said earlier in this thread that your trading platform is currently operational. Where can I go to check that out? Thanks!

The average bank heist nets about $5000. These guys made off with like 200k? Insanity

Hey guys, here with a small update about how things are going - this post will be fairly brief.

Development
We’ve been working on integrating the new UI and are in the process of tweaking it to work with live data, we’re hoping this week that we’ll have some screenshots to show you in regards to this. We are still running on our expected schedule and ideally everything will be ready for June the 1st which is when the first cycle will officially begin.

Marketing
Twitter has been going fairly steady with a growth rate of ~60 new followers every day. If you haven’t already, follow us on twitter as we’ll be doing a giveaway this week! We’re now beginning to work on the Twitch.tv side of things where we will be looking to campaign and increase our growth through popular streamers for CS:GO (as this program grows, so will the games we target on Twitch as well as the number of streamers we support).

Discord
Here is a chat log from last weeks Discord meeting in the future we will look to make this more available in a better format - http://pastebin.com/raw/wAue3iGF - we highly recommend rather than reading the chat log that you instead join our Discord and read it directly on there Wink

Thanks for the support as always, a reminder to those interested the ESL pro league will be ending soon on the 15th so we expect some exciting CS:GO matches as this event comes to a close.

To clarify, while the first cycle begins on June 1st, all bets up to this point are included in shareholder dividends as well, correct? Not just those from June 1st to when the cycle ends?

I'm pretty sure bets before June 1st are not included. He asked us when we wanted to start the cycle and June 1 was agreed upon.

I find the current popular idea that because the site is not earning massive amounts now the coin therefore has a low value. Funny cause almost every alt coin has a value based on hoped for predicted earnings later.....How much does ETH make people? Or Maidsafe? care to give me their annual profits?

The fact is all coins are based on speculation of FUTURE potential, personally I find the potential of Gamebet rock solid especially compared to may projects that simply haven't proven themselves of having any real demand. I also wonder if people think once the site makes a decent profit they will be able to wait and buy the coins then.....lol I imagine the person who monkey hammered the price down the other day is trying to own a significant amount of GBT.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

DailyModo do you have a timeframe of when the new UI should go live? And when we'll be able to deposit GBT to the site so we can benefit from the loyalty program and also bet with it?

I believe he said the UI will be done mid to late May.

GBT is not for betting.

I believe you can deposit GBT to your wallet if you login.

I'm really having difficult understanding why this coin is trading below the ico price. There have been no surprises just sold development and support by the dev team. Makes 0 sense

I can explain it in simple terms.  The Devs are very busy with the new web site. With the release of GBT, it needed to be listed on an exchange and Yobit was the fastest exchange to take the coin.  I don't believe the Devs knew the extent of the fraud happening on Yobit.  Last night, around 2am EST,  I saw the chat room on Yobit talking about getting ready for a large dump. A computer bot took over the GBT on the exchange and within seconds it dropped to 5sat and then started to slowly climb higher. I have been saying this for weeks now...."We need to boycott Yobit and get the Hell away from it!"

How can that be profitable for anyone selling at 5 sats?

Honestly this coin is complete trash and the support is a total joke.

I lost a bunch of coins when I sent gems from the getgems messenger to poloniex. They disappeared from my account and were never registered on the blockchain. They just vanished.

I've opened a ticket and talked to the peled about it only to be ignored for over a month now.

Not only that but I was a significant investor in the ICO and never received any of the air drop. The coin is dead and the development is dead. They really never developed anything anyways, they just cloned the telgram messanger. They got your money and are finished.  It is really is too bad, cause there could have been something here.

I understand people are trying to prop the coin up to get some of their investment back but honestly just accept your loss and move on.

I am sorry you lost your coins and hope the Getgems team can still get it resolved. There can be a number of reasons why. When it comes to crypto, sometimes we can be our own worst enemy. I remember when I first started. Security and just the general knowledge of your coins can be a big issue, you have to know a little about what you are doing in that area.

For instance, in order to get the airdrop there was an e-mail sent out to all the ICO holders. A response to that e-mail was necessary in order to collect the ICO portion of the airdrop. If you had changed e-mails or did not respond to that e-mail you would not get the airdrop. All I can do is speculate on your situation. The support is a little thin, and Getgems can't afford to spend all the ICO money educating people about crypto.

Nobody is trying to "prop the coin up" ....just trying to "counter" all the FUD (lies) coming from this board. It's hard for me to read and not respond.

Throwing the "baby out with the bath water" is not a good solution. Again, I hope you can get your situation resolved, and am sorry for your temporary loss.

I replied to the email about the air drop.

Ive been in crypto for years. This was not my mistake. I have a screenshot of the transaction.

I don't think this has been asked before, but what exactly can I do with Steam Silver? Is it convertible to bitcoin? I'm really unfamiliar with steam, I'm not a gamer. Thanks!

Gonna throw this question out there one more time. Does know one know what the frig steam silver is? Can t believe I didnt get an answer

Maybe read the opening post...

Steam Silver is a currency used on our site obtained from depositing steam items on our system. Steam Silver is represented in USD (1 SS = 1 USD). Steam Silver can be used to place bets as well as purchase items from the Stream Market Place. In the near future, there will an on-site exchange allowing users to directly list orders for Silver and Gold.

Later you can trade SS with GG. Yu can than trade the GG for BTC.

Thanks stranger, silly me was looking on their website.
