61  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expected predictions on: May 27, 2018, 06:03:52 AM
People in the cryptocommunity are saying that the value of cryptocurrencies will rise at around the last quarter of the year, they are saying this because they have seen it, they saw it happend quite a few times in their past years as a cryptocurrency holder or trader, I have experienced it once and I believe that cryptocurrency will rise again.
Yes, you will see that during the first 2 quarters of the year, the prices of bitcoin is down and fluctuates almost every time but upon going to the 3rd especially on the last quarter, we can always expect a huge increase in the market. That is what has been happening from the past couple of years so that is the basis of all of us. I guess we can expect the same thing this year too.
62  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [ P L E A S E - R E A D] Dissolving all Filipino Merit Beggars on: May 27, 2018, 04:51:41 AM
63  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: How to add Ethereum to MEW? on: May 26, 2018, 05:15:24 PM
Parang hindi ata nasagot ang tanong ng OP sa mga previous replies ah. Para mag karoon ka ng balance sa MEW, kailangan mo muna lagyan ng balance yang coins.ph mo. Pwde yan through cebuana or palawan tapos pag nasa coins.ph mo smpre naka PHP wallet un, convert mo naman sa ETH, then send mo directly from coins.ph's eth wallet to your MEW. Kung may bitcoin ka nman, gamit ka lang ng shapeshift.io madali lang naman intindihin yon. sana nasagot ko tanong mo.
64  Other / Meta / Re: Want to act as Bitcointalk police on: May 26, 2018, 11:07:45 AM
Will you report yourself for an alt account? You are clearly an alt account of someone because you know many things about the forum despite being a newbie.

Creating a single moderated thread in the reputation boards as suggested by @Welsh is the most appropriate one. Another thing is that not only Senior members are the one you should be urging about this issue, in fact, even member ranks are also reporting multiple accounts they find in the forum.
65  Economy / Economics / Re: market refresh or just a pump ? on: May 26, 2018, 09:41:38 AM
Yet, the market hasn't recovered. There are still many pumps and correction happening until now. Indeed some improvement happened but it just slowly and just a little. a sign of improvement is indeed already existed but is still very slow.
Look again, the market is turning green now and recovering. Due to the recent dump, there seems to be a large purchase volume.

Basically pump and diump behavior of bitcoin are normally happened because its serves as a great source of opportunity whether to be able for us to make profitable investments. Hopefully bitcoin will started to pump right now in order to decide to invest with possible outcomes. So we need to observe the market place if it is really pumping perfectly.
LOL, you don't need bitcoin to start pumping before you decide to invest, now is a good time to do so before it fully recovers then you will have to wait again for a dip to invest. We have a strong support at $8k now so it is not possible for bitcoin to continue decreasing to $6k.
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you feel the rise of BTC anytime soon? on: May 26, 2018, 06:34:35 AM
Under current conditions the observers are split into two parts, some assume today's low value, as a pattern there will be its high value swing, because in such conditions can trigger large volume purchases. Some others consider the trend to be long-lived can even be lower than now.

Well, I am expecting a large volume of purchase in the market given the current situation of bitcoin right now so we should be expecting a price recovery anytime soon but probably weak-handed people are selling their bitcoin again thinking that they can purchase at a lower point of entry. They are taking up a double edge sword because they surely not know if it will continue to decrease or not. In my case, I will be just holding and continue buying whenever I can.
67  Other / Meta / Re: How can we update the latest thread? on: May 26, 2018, 06:28:42 AM
Just click the notify button located in the upper right of the topic so that every time someone makes a new post to it, a notification will be sent to your gmail associated with your bct account but if you dont want to have those notifs, then just put that topic in your watchlist.

69  Other / Meta / Re: Merit rewards are ok ? on: May 25, 2018, 10:46:44 AM
Then the essence of the merit system will be lost mate. If that will be implemented, then anyone can earn merit by just spamming in the forum because as you said it will be like giving stakes. I urge you to visit the Meta Section so that you can read threads regarding merit and so that your idea about merit being awarded to posts that makes the merit giver laugh be change.
70  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does speculation affect bitcoin negatively? on: May 25, 2018, 12:33:46 AM
From last few days, so many negative news regarding btc have been aired. Then lot of people speculate the price of bitcoin and just after that I have noticed some significant change in the price index of btc. Do you think that these speculation affect the price of btc a lot???
Of course! Baseless speculations/predictions or what most of us call is, FUD is one of the major things that affects the price of bitcoin in the market. News about bitcoin influences weak handed people to believe on what they are saying so for example someone who is known in the crypto community posted something on their social media account like "sell now, blah blah blah" so immediately, they will believe it and sell their bitcoin thus resulting to them contributing more to the dip.
71  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you follow trading advice from crypto influencers? on: May 24, 2018, 09:48:24 PM
At first, I follow advice from famous crypto influencers but after learning that not all of their advice is not the correct one to take. The case is that, they state a lot of advice on their social media accounts telling people about their point of view on the current state of cryptocurrencies in the market and there will be a 50-50% chance that some of their predictions will come true. They just have a better technical analysis on the cryptos than us so I just take their advice as an idea and I do my own research.
72  Economy / Economics / Re: What happnes to BTC,if the oil price goes up? on: May 24, 2018, 06:03:41 PM
I can't think of any relevance to oil's price increase to cryptocurrencies price so probably it will not affect in any other way. The connection of oil to the world economy has no connection to the way the price in the market changes so I would love to hear your theories about the connection between those two.
73  Other / Meta / Re: [Suggestion] on: May 24, 2018, 11:25:57 AM

He's managed to get his account ruined with multiple red trusts so he probably figures he hasn't got anything to lose. I was hoping he'd learn his lesson and change his ways once he managed to get his initial negative feedback changed to neutral, but instead he ramped up the trolling for some reason and now look at him.
I don't know why he messed up his reputation in the forum and he keeps on messing up his current image but maybe a little more of members complaining about his behavior will make him redeem himself from his actions.
I can't understand the logic behind this request.

Because he has tried (and spectacularly failed) to get suchmoon, actmyname, and marlboroza to remove the red trust they've given him. Since he can't change his own feedback, it seems he now wants to change the entire trust system to benefit him.

and now he's trolling the forum creating topics where arguments are wasted and useless.
74  Other / Meta / Re: If this contiunes, we'll lose the Bitcoin Discussion topic on: May 24, 2018, 04:44:35 AM
I am really avoiding the Bitcoin Discussion board as much as I can since almost all of the topics there are just repetitions of old topics and most of them are getting deleted. Newbies can continue posting to the same threads they are making and they will continue to have a reduced post count whereas we (member who can distinguish a good topic from the bad ones) can choose a decent topic in that board and continue the flow of conversation there.

I really hope that there is something we could do to prevent newbies from creating such threads and to save the essence of that board.
75  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy Token When Bounty Hunters Sell They Coins on: May 21, 2018, 03:44:24 PM
I did it once when I had a little extra cash to buy SalPay because of a lot of bounty hunters immediately sold their tokens after it got listed in an exchange whereas I believe in the potential of the coin so I bought a little at a much lower price. The downside of this is that you will have to wait a long time before you can see profits because altcoins that get dumped immediately by bounty hunters, take a long time before they can recover.
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin started its uplift ?? on: May 21, 2018, 03:31:54 PM
As of now, the price of bitcoin has been increased by 1.62% today. Whereas ETH is falling down. Will btc price go up go forward?? I am afraid to make any investment as this moment. Whats your thought??
You should not really depend on the pieces of advice that you will get here but rather make the decision by yourself so that you will not blame other people later on if the outcome is not what you expect it to be.  You will just read either invest now while it is still affordable or wait until another dip occurs. Just search for the latest news about the crypto world and there you will get a better grasp of the idea why bitcoin's price is going the way it is now.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I invest in altcoin now? on: May 21, 2018, 06:46:16 AM
In the current dip situation, I want to put engage some of my savings into alt coins. but it is tough to me to choose the right one. Could you please help me to choose the right one which at least not push me towards FUD?

It is a wise choice to pick an altcoin where to put your savings. However, you must choose a strong coin and you should not go all in. Remember that you should invest only the amount you can afford to lose. If presume that you want a long term investment. There is a variety of good coin to choose from. There is ETH, LTC, DOGE, XMR, NEO which all are good coin to invest in. ETH is my personal coin of choice here. It fuels many tokens out there so we can easily say that ETH is much stronger than the others.
78  Other / Meta / Re: Something About Merit System on: May 21, 2018, 04:53:26 AM
Can you cite some examples where people red tagged other people for giving other members merits and let us see the post that user gave merit to so we can judge why it is considered as merit abuse?

I guess you can't distinguish an obvious merit abuse that is why you are whining here because you think that, that is the reason why you, and most of the members here are not getting enough merits.
79  Other / Meta / Re: How to get Merit – Cashi's useful tips from a Newbie for Newbies on: May 21, 2018, 04:48:09 AM
I feel like they are doing it because they want their post to be look like a well created, constructive post.

If that's what they are thinking, then their ignorance is really on a whole new level. They should learn using "~snip~" or just quote the sentences that they want to emphasize in their reply. No need for quoting the whole OP again.

To be honest with you I thought the author of this topic got huge merit but I feel disappointed seeing you op no merit yet. Then how could you be an effective advisor if you yourself didn't have any merit. Fuck!

Although the OP will be helpful for newbies, there are already a lot of topics with the same content in the forum and I'm sure that right now, most of the members know how to earn merit for themselves, they are just lazy to do so.
80  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine that economy that we know it today is not needed.... on: May 21, 2018, 04:39:03 AM
As the saying goes, "Money makes the world go round" means that it would be impossible for the world that we live in today, forget the use of money. Also, the fact that our resources are limited makes it more impossible for a world where money is not needed. We need to pay for services that others provide so that we can continue having their services.
