Trading is like an addiction, but this bear market seems will be very long. Bitcoin is going to under 6k USD, ETH is now 262 USD, Almost 80% coin fell down. I can't make profits at this moment in trading, Because after getting a little bit of profit, the market again goes under, then another coin eats my profit too. What should I do now?
If you think that you will be earning profit then just continue to trade, the market is volatile so you will never determine what will be the next value, always take the opportunity when it comes that's how cryptocurrency works. |

In my own opinion, day trading is more profitable because you can always earn small profits in the market while holding will not give you an assurance if your coin will grow even more in the future. |

They are still everywhere in my opinion. Nearly every decent alt is a good potential investment because only if market will grow it will surely bring you serious profits.

and today, spend the 100% from that capital and bought it again, so u still holding the same amount as late DEC while steady with the 900% profits..
we all wish to do a 3x on our bitcoins holding. So if you think bitcoins will keep falling then sell you coins and buy back in. most people who short there bitcoins end up buying them back for a higher price. The market is volatile so you cannot always earn a huge amount of profit but the best thing to do is just be patience and wait for the price to grow before selling. |

there are so many cryptos and I find it hard to identify the ones where I should have a closer look.
Obviously one can find cryptos e.g. by listening to shilling on Reddit. But I'm looking for more professional sources like YouTube channels, free/ paid Telegram/Discord groups and so on. What do you use?
For me, I study its background and the developers behind them. I also check many different sources ranging from YouTube channels, forum threads and other credible and, as much as possible, reliable sources that could give good information that could give you a better view of how the coins would improve on and how they would go by in the market. I also check on those coins that have great support from the community so that I know that it could be a coin that could breakthrough the market, rather than those that will die out after a couple of months only. Studying the background of the ico is the best way to avoid scam ico's because in this way you will determine if the platform is really profitable in the future or not. |

Im a newbie both in this forum and the cryptocurrency subject, so I had been reading a lot and studying in the last couple weeks.But I still have some doubts. I always see people saying that there is a bubble in the bitcoin market and that there are many people who own big ammounts of bitcoins and can manipulate the market, so i dont know if now its a good time for a person who doesnt own any bitcoins yet to start buying then (i planned to hold them for a long time, not trading beetwenn exchanges) or if i should wait more. I also see fear about corrections and dont know well how those work and if they have an specific time to happen. Anyway, sorry for my bad english and thank you for the replies, even though I know im te only one responsable for my money.
The market prices today is still down at $10k dollar so it was really nice if you are going to invest a huge amount today because the price will surely grow even more in the future. |

I think every crypto coin will not survive. There are too many crypto coins that exist in the market. Many exist but few will survive. It is because of the competition in the market. Only those coins that are supported by many will survive long last.
You are wrong, there are still some coins that are going to survive in the future and those coins are the one that has legitimate project and their developers will work hard to market the coin in order for the value to grow in the market. |

I think long time holding of coins nowadays is not smart idea. It is because most of the price of coin nowadays is unstable and easily to drop. In my opinion short term is much advisable to do now instead of long term of investment.
The reason why bitcoins is good for long term investment is because of the market's volatility so it was just normal if the market prices sometimes is dropping because we need the volatile market to multiply our coins. |

this is very bad, because social media is a good promotional medium, whereas nowadays social media is actually the tire of advertising for ico and crypto. it could be if this continued, the bounty would end. because only relying on the signature campaign, it seems less than optimal.
It does not really matter if social media's are going to ban cryptocurrency ads because bitcoins grew its value without any promotions and just a huge demand coming from the people. |

Well, look at the price of Bitcoin today compared to the price of Bitcoin yesterday, change happened when we entered August. Is this because we entered the ghost month that Chinese and other Asian countries observe in the month of August and may last until mid of September. Last year, Alts suffered a lot when ghost month started, it red all over as the Chinese and other Asians who observe this festival and stop making business deals or other business decisions.
True this is something that will be with this month. Maybe with some small spike here and there but this is it for now (unless someone invest huge amount). However this may be good point in maybe bu something not necessary bitcoin but some other alt that might come but next month or in next several months. Market is tricky and beside knowledge you need skill too. These two work together after all. The best thing to do is make your self more knowledgeable about the market by conducting your own research, market is tricky but with good information you have, you can determine what will happen in the next month in the market. |

2017 Bitcoin price increased to 20,000$ in just 2 weeks. So no worries as bitcoin prices have been falling for several days. If the market goes up. So the price of bitcoin will skyrocket, It looks like 2017 is going to repeat again for the market
