684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin saved my year on: January 06, 2018, 01:30:10 PM
I started 2017 broke and with a very low wage. My girlfriend also broke up with me in the beginning of the year.
Although I had committed some trade mistakes I was able to get 400% gains, thanks to btc.  This gave me hope and made my year a lot better.
I wonder how many people bitcoin "saved" this year, even preventing some suicides maybe.

685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sold everything on: January 04, 2018, 12:25:07 PM
Hi there,

first I want to say this (because I think many people that feel bad will read this as well) :

I think it that the price of BTC will go up again.. I cannot be sure, noone can, but it will probably be ok again.

But....I sold everything... My cryptocurrency that is Smiley
The reason is that I can not grasp the reason of the cause behind the value changing so much whenever it happens.

"ooooh now it went up a lot"...
"aaaaah now it went down a lot"

Then you google and google and wonder....WHY? Why did it go up a lot. Why did it go down a lot.
Sometimes you can find out about some guy with influence that said something on a conference on the other side of the World.
Sometimes it is because a site like coinbase made a mistake or introduced something new..

If lots of people buy, it goes up.
If lots of people sell, it goes down.
I understand...

But if I look at the big picture, it is still a mystery Smiley

So..while I still had a little bit of profit I sold everything.

I did not put in my life savings, but still enough to make me feel bad if the bitcoin would go down a lot more.

I also have to think about taxes (I hate doing taxes!). Here in Scandinavia I have to write down everything. All the order numbers, the amounts,,.... I will take me hours of looking up how to do it properly.
And then I have  to pay 30% taxes over the profit because they validate the bitcoin like a lottery here (and I see the resemblance as well!)
I also bought it from websites from other countries and then the amounts are of course in the wrong valuta... .....horrible....  Wink

I wish all of you "bitcoiners" a very happy 2018. May all of you have profits!! (I feel like a ferengi all of a sudden)

And ehh...I probably will be back again. Just like a lottery, it is a bit of a "kick" one can get out of having a profit.

Demesmaeker

I think that we are in the same spot, I used to work on bounty campaigns by creating those translations and promoting their ico's through signature campaign, They are paying a decent amount of altcoins for our hardwork and i exchange my coins to bitcoins and wait for the highest price that will come up in the market and in the end, I always sell all my coins because i need the money. It depends on people's needs if they are going to hold their coin or if there's an emergency so its normal if this kind of scenario will exist we should not feel bad about it.
686  Economy / Speculation / Re: Right time to buy bitcoin on: January 04, 2018, 12:18:29 PM
At this time bitcoin price is very dumping.I think it's time to buy bitcoin.Do you think, this is the right time to buy bitcoin or wait few days. Please tell me?

Market has ups and down. You can always wait till the value decreases and start to invest. If you are want to star trading then i suggest that you should invest today because the value this month is decreasing on bitcoins and it is stable in $13k dollars. Investing strategically is the best way to do to earn more profit from the coins that you have invested.
687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your house for investment in btc. on: January 04, 2018, 11:53:47 AM
Just imagine selling your $259,900 house for 43BTC and 2 Months in street.

and after just 2 months sell 43BTC for $498198.

Again buying the previous also you will be in profit of $472298.

would you try this technique.

Your property will increase its value even more so it only means it is more profitable than bitcoin. We never know when bitcoins will rise or fall again because of the markets volatility so it only means that exchanging your house for bitcoins is very risky and it is better for you to just work on bounty campaigns and earn altcoins, Take time and do not rush things because you might end up being broke.
688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: January 04, 2018, 11:17:42 AM
Are you a bitcoin fan?
Do you spend a lot of time on bitcoin? Reading news, trading, or even writing your own analysis.
But how did you first hear about bitcoin?
Is it some articles you read about? Or just from a friend who has traded bitcoin for a long time?

Share your experience with us. Grin

My friend told me about this forum and from that they i learn how to work on bounty campaigns and promote ico's platform in order for them to get more investors. It was really hard to work on the corporate world so i prefer working at home advertising this bounty campaigns and doing some services like translation that will benefit the ico.
689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hotels accepting bitcoin on: January 04, 2018, 11:09:53 AM
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/videos/b/4a0b16dd-6783-4dac-9fa0-76e923c9a774

According to this link, a bloomberg news site, it was mentioned that there are two hotels in LAS Vegas that accepts bitcoin as payment for hotels, food and drinks. If you want to visit this place as a tourist or to gamble and you happened to lost your money to gambling you can always use you stored bitcoins to get a room to sleep and relax and enjoy the food and booze.

If hotel is accepting bitcoins then it only means that more and more businessman are thinking positive about bitcoins and they do believe that the value of this coins will increase even more in the next years to come. More consumers will really invest if this kind of mentality will be applied to everyone.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you donate Bitcoin for the poor and needy? on: January 04, 2018, 10:52:33 AM
The point is to keep a bitcoin separately for donation to the poor. Donating a bitcoin directly will make sense if the receiver is aware of the functioning of bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. A poor and / or needy man can be sometimes an educated man or a knowledgeable man who is struggling to meet his ends. Bitcoin can otherwise be encashed and given to the poor.

It is always better to think big. I would rather create a trust or try to invest in healthcare or education of a poor child. All quick helps will not last long. Educating one child by spending a $25000 or more will reap great benefits to the society in comparison with feeding a whole lot of people once with the same money. Though it is not bad to feed but it is better to invest in a system that more than once continually feeds.

Yes I will donate Bitcoin to the poor and needy the way I feel is best useful for them. One percentage of the income can always be set aside for donation. After all, life is short and it is best to help as much as we can.

Everyone started with nothing and maybe some of us are already wealthy before they are being introduced to bitcoins, But for me, I will just save my money till the day will come that i would not even need to work in order to live, I will only help people when cannot do something about my money but for now i still need to save it.
691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: January 04, 2018, 10:34:16 AM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.

We do not really need to think of them, But always help those people who are really interested on bitcoins because this people will also contribute to the market and they might be someday the source of bitcoins community to bloom even more in other country.
692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: January 04, 2018, 10:32:50 AM
im sure it can...but it will take a long time to make bank dissapear...
but make sure that all people know what is btc...in my country just a less people know bitcoin...

I think that banks are scared because most of the people are investing on bitcoins rather than placing their money on the banks, But it is true that profit is much better on bitcoin depending on the season. Banks will really disappear if most of the people will decide to focus on bitcoins but it will take a very long time in order to make this things happen.
693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major benefit of bitcoin? on: January 03, 2018, 01:01:54 PM
I can answer my question by saying that bitcoin has what others don't and that's being the pioneer in the crypto markets. Which is why everything is priced in bitcoin But really....what does bitcoin do better that any other alt? What's the intrinsic value of bitcoin that I can't get with other alt? Transaction fees? No. Fast network? No. scalability? No. A functional product? No. Full anonymity? No. Descentralización? No. So? The markets are priced in bitcoin, and being that base of value is pretty important, but...is that it?

In my own opinion, Bitcoin is the best because of its value that is greater than any other cryptocurrency, Another thing is that, The growth is faster unlike to other altcoins that grows slower in the market and it really takes time for their coin to increase its value. Most of the investor are only interested because of the growth and positive speculation about the bitcoins.
694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: January 03, 2018, 12:41:42 PM
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

The only bad thing about bitcoins is that, It can be used by terrorist for illegal transactions but beside that, Bitcoins is very useful for every and it help other people to have a work and buy food for their family, Bitcoins should not be banned for different countries.

You should not be sad if you girlfriend leave you, There is a lot of work to do yet and you can focus on the bounty campaigns task like promoting on twitter or advertising on youtube. Create your own time management and focus working to forget about your broken heart and earn more money when the payouts is already handed out.
696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: January 03, 2018, 12:31:26 PM
Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers

If you are going to ask anyone like your family to join this industry, I suggest that you should not ask them to invest money and hold their coin and they should work on bounty campaigns to earn altcoins to start without any investment. In this way they can have profit without any risk.
697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: January 03, 2018, 12:29:46 PM
I just wanted to know that, what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit. But i want to know what is the risk involved. Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.

The amount of risk you will be getting will be depending on how much capital you are going to invest on bitcoins. If you are worrying about the value of bitcoins that it will fail then you cannot avoid that to happen. Everything in business has the risk to take in order to be successful.
698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth? on: January 03, 2018, 12:26:35 PM
Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth?

Of course, Every bounty campaigns needs social media's in order to advertise their coins. One of the reason why there are so much investor in some of the altcoins is because of facebook and if their promoters are stars then there will be more people in the community that they can get if they hire an actor or create a propaganda on tv to advertise.
699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: January 03, 2018, 12:22:01 PM
Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?

There are different ways to store your coins whether it is bitcoin or an altcoin but you should also consider what type of coin you are holding. As of now i am currently holding ethereum coins and bitcoins, I use myetherwallet because most of the traders here are using it and i place my bitcoins on liqui.io because it is safer with higher fees. You can ask everyone if there is more safer place than this wallet i suggest and exchanger.
700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is an Illuminati Scam? on: January 03, 2018, 12:19:49 PM
Hi I am a newbie here in Bitcointakorg. Also I am new to Crypto trading fielding as well. While I was talking to one of my friends about Crypto Market. He doubted this new currency trend. As He said There is Illuminati behind this project.  He submitted me some facts exacting some one's article that It is a scam and that could cause to loose everything one day. I will list them here below one by one.

1. Bitcoin is not a company, It has no corporate entity..
(You can't sue bitcoin, inc. If the promises you were made about bitcoin price valuations don't pan. There is no bitcoin, inc)

2. Bitcoin doesn't have any earnings, revenues, profits, profits or P/E ratios.

3. Bitcoin trading isn't regulated by any one.

4. If the internet goes down, Bitcoins cease to exit.

5. Very few accept bitcoins as form of payment. ( although this could grow)

6. Bitcoins transactions are not free and fee getting increased time to time.

7. You can't sue anything if you loose your bitcoins,

8. Nearly all bitcoins promoters have a conflict of interest in attracting more buyers in to bitcoins.

9. Bitcoin isn't very liquid market compare to stock market, Transactions can days to clear

10. Because of bitcoin isn't regulated by the SEC, Bitcoin promoters can claim any forward - looking estimates for future
( the government cannot take any legal action against them )

I would like to know you people's views regarding above facts, Really Appreciate your participation, Looking forward to learn many things from you as a newbie. Thanks in advance.

Projects are being made by developers who are creating ico's and promoting their altcoins. In this way there are a lot of people who will have a job because they need participants in their campaign to advertise their coin in order to get more investors.
