61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to invest in BNB now? on: April 07, 2021, 01:24:20 PM
BNB is one of the promising coin I've invested. You just have to be in the right time so you won't buy on its peak price. I guess it's better to wait for the reversal.

Today is a very special day because of the launching of TKO in Binance. Lucky those who bought BNB because of the TKO staking. Price started at $10 per TKO.
62  Economy / Economics / Re: holding bitcoin from early 2010 till today on: April 07, 2021, 10:25:02 AM
Salute those people who patiently hold their Bitcoins since 2010. I think there are people who still hold their Bitcoin but for sure won’t disclose it here for security purposes. I envy them  Cheesy
If I’ve known Bitcoin back then, I probably living my dreams today  Cheesy

65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchanges are not recommended. on: August 11, 2019, 11:58:15 PM
It's a technique that you have to know so that you won't be deceived. Many are doing that. So be careful on fake volumes. If you want to avoid being trapped by it, you should start learning how to read the chart. You won't be fooled if you won't let them fool you.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding multiple altcoins on: August 11, 2019, 11:39:13 PM
I also have multiple coins but I prefer to store it in different wallets so that when one gets hacked I still have the other. I put some my coins in different exchange also so that I can trade them from time to time.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stop Blaming Bounty Hunter! on: August 11, 2019, 11:10:21 PM
Since I signed up for the Forum, there is a subject that the project teams have been constantly complaining about. People who deal with Bounty are seen as a dumper.

I've been studying for a long time. I talk to many project teams like a private investor and ask how many (%) discounts they can offer to me for a $ 100,000 investment if I want to buy tokens during the ICO process. Coming offers you can not believe. Today I encountered another project. A year ago Winklevoss brothers invested as an early investor to the project. And they will do ICO soon. The price difference between the price they sell now and the investment they received from early investors is exactly 2500 times! I can't believe! They're trying to sell what one person got for $ 1 to another person for $ 2500.

Let's go back to the bounty! Projects usually allocate 3% of the figure they sell for bounty. So for example, a project that collects 10 million investment distributes only 300k bounty. Can you really dump a coin with a 3% bounty (which is distributed to an average of 1000 different people)?

$ 10,000,000 to $ 300,000? Really? Are you that naive? Or do you like to treat bounty hunters as cheap workers?

Please stop blaming bounty hunters! And stop huge discount your early birds. They are dumping your coin, project itself! I think the market needs more transparency!
Project team itself dumping on many occasions which are done with the thought of money making only not for creating something useful to the community but they take hunters as a reason to blame and hide themselves from the attention.

Yeah. That could be. Who else could have a large portion of their own project? They can be those dumpers who make investors believe that bounty hunters are the one who caused the price. Then they will distribute the rewards to the hunters when the price is so dumped.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing does not have to wait long on: August 11, 2019, 03:32:54 PM
That is true. You can still gain even if the market is down. Because there is what we called short selling or buying. Bitmex is the one that I knew that has short selling. Even if the market is down, you still make a profit in short selling.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you check crypto prices? on: August 11, 2019, 02:31:21 PM
At first, I was addicted also because my friends told me how much would I gain, then I can't get enough sleep because I was always checking my phone every night. Of course, I don't want to be left out when my invested coin pumped. Eventually, my excitement fades away when I experienced a huge loss. But I still have interest in crypto, it is just that I do not expect that much. I just think of a long-term view.
70  Economy / Economics / Re: If the government supports bitcoin instead of the existing currency. on: August 11, 2019, 01:01:19 PM
Neither bitcoin nor paper money has any real value, but notes have national credit support, and what if bitcoin also gets national credit? The government will lose its macro-control policy but it can also effectively eliminate inflation, two relative ratios. Is that a good result? Of course, I know that the government is very unlikely to support bitcoin, but who knows?
But they never support crypto currency as their national currency.Because it can destroy the governments revenue so they will keep their fiat money as their national currency forever. But if they do then it will do more benefits to the citizens not to the governments.

I am not being pessimistic here but I do not see for now that the government will accept cryptocurrency as our main currency. Because of the reason you have mentioned. In this world where money is power. They will never allow cryptocurrency even if it got too many advantages compared to disadvantages because the government does not want something that they cannot control.
71  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some not so obvious things that damage a country's economy? on: August 11, 2019, 07:31:03 AM
The technology itself. We have seen how technology helps and change our lives. But on the other side, we do not see the disadvantage of this. Like the on-going development of AI today. Some experts believed that one day, 40% of jobs will be replaced by AI. This will affect the economy because it will have massive unemployment.
72  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: August 11, 2019, 06:41:02 AM
Most of these "hacks" are inside jobs.  They come up with excuses so they can easily run away with users' money.  I've seen it time after time and it looks like this will never stop as long as there are greedy people in this world.

I thought that so. This hacking issues with these two major exchanges may be an inside job. I am not 100% sure but it might be because there's no one else who can do the hacking unless they where the one who developed the system. Maybe one of the developer team of that exchange is part of that hacking incident.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Advise Newbies To Enter Bitcoin Now? on: August 11, 2019, 05:32:00 AM
I will discuss first all about btc before advising to enter bitcoin. I am willingly to help and guide a newbie if she/he is interested to learn and to join bitcoin.  They should understand first how bitcoin really works and the risks in crypto.
Good to do that first as newbies is very aggressive when hearing positive things about investment, if they'll be able to understand and realized the risk that involves around it will be easier for them to be convinced investing inside this Market, the chance of lessen the potential loses can be determined and it's up to them whether they like to proceed or to learn more first.

True. People seem very excited about when they hear that profit gain in crypto is potentially big and they will jump right away to start. But they do not know that there is also a chance to have a huge loss when you enter in a wrong timing. So beginners who would want to start in investing in crypto market should learn first the advantage and disadvantage of getting into the crypto world.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin can't be banned on: August 11, 2019, 03:56:02 AM
I believe they can ban using Bitcoin. The government has the power to ban the buying and spending of Bitcoin, but they cannot destroy Bitcoin. I do not think that they will ban Bitcoin forever. Sometimes it is their delaying tactics to ban Bitcoin (temporarily), but eventually, they will allow people to use/buy. Whatever the government is planning up to, they still knew that Bitcoin is the future answer to our economic problems right now.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fell for FUD. Stand your ground bitcoiners! on: August 01, 2019, 10:27:55 AM
Those who are saying that Bitcoin is a scam do not know anything about Bitcoin. For sure they only knew about it is the price that they can gain when they buy Bitcoin. But it is not only the price, but it is also about the technology and the changes it can bring to our world when Bitcoin and the blockchain will be used in the different sector of our society.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are airdrops safe? on: July 28, 2019, 11:50:19 PM
We do not know, but I've gained a reasonable amount of money for some airdrops. Some airdrops require to do KYC, that I won't participate because they will get your own identity for just a few bucks and its not worth the risk. Just be careful on clicking links of those airdrops, it might be a virus or their means to hack your computer, we do not know.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful of alts you hodl on: July 28, 2019, 11:20:05 PM
I was just looking at the coinmarketcap table since 2013, I was surprised in what I saw, many coins topping the charts then are now almost non-existent, we need to be careful of the kind of coins we hodl especially for long term. Most of these projects just die after the initial hype.

Yes, that is right. I have a few coins who reached a good price in 2017 but suddenly just disappear and decided to not continue. Even those coins who are existing until now but the price is very very low compared to what I bought them. It is a big factor why this happened because of the sudden decrease in Bitcoin's price.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties. IEOs or ICOs. on: July 28, 2019, 11:04:18 PM
I recommend bounty for you

Temtum
Mycro Jobs
Storichain
Sparrow
$ smart fund

That's a number of bounties that I think are promising and will make money.

It's very hard to find good bounties now. There's a lot of good projects that aren't moving forward to continue because of a lack of money to sustain their daily expenses in developing their project. Anyway, thanks for this. Will check this out.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Replace Banks? on: July 28, 2019, 02:28:50 PM
It's not the banks that will be replaced, and it's the system used by banks that can be replaced by blockchain. Blockchain is a powerful technology that can change the flaws of our banking system today. We knew how well the banking system performing now, but there are still flaws in the system that are prone to attack. Maybe when banks use blockchain, attacks or hacks are reduced or totally eliminated.
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & Lightning - Would you pay for coffee instantly if it was possible? on: July 27, 2019, 08:24:48 AM
It feels like a waste to make a payment with Bitcoin.
If the lightning network is activated, I want to pay with a less burdensome cryptocurrency.

Lightning Network is built to help instantly send/receive Bitcoins so by that, transaction fees on transferring are reduced. So I don't think it would be burdensome to use Bitcoin for payment.
