61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you find interesting ICO ? on: January 29, 2018, 11:28:18 PM
As usual I visit icobench.com and bitcointalk. Sometime it seems to me that all the placements on big sites are payed but we have to find new sources of information. at icobench u can see a rating that can help u to find a good projects and start to investigate it.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟 [BOUNTY CLOSED] Pareto Network - The P2P Financial Content Marketplace on: January 29, 2018, 09:23:41 AM
Received sig bounty. Thanks a lot to bounty manager and team
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it important to understand the new information? on: January 19, 2018, 03:12:26 PM
Should we know the latest news? Is this important for us?
have u ever traded in stocks? of course news are important. humans are emotional beings. that mean even ppl read an article with rumors, they get panic and sell their coins without serious reasons. so u can guess what might happen if u follow news.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoins You Bought On This Dip on: January 18, 2018, 04:40:45 PM
it was very hard to decide in which to invest. so i chose deeponion.i hope that will be back to 19$. so i would get x2.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: January 18, 2018, 04:38:46 PM
The number of successful ICO's are decreasing dramatically.  Just wanna know about successful ICO's in the fourth quarter of 2017 and if anybody still believes in  ICO's.

i don't believe in icos much. i only invest in when all points convince me, especially team members. its not important do have a unique feature. they can clone but should make it far better.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO VS ETH on: January 18, 2018, 04:36:53 PM
after big rising of ethereum ppl think that neo is cheap so the buy it. it also a good coin. but it can only explode if china accepts icos again.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get more profit? on: January 18, 2018, 04:32:56 PM
the best strategy is imo holding - long term trading. just hold and keep you coins in your wallets. beside this u can invest more or participate in bounties.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your recommendations please on: January 18, 2018, 04:30:45 PM
I'm holding XRB,TRX, and deeponion. Which one do you think will be the most valuable in 5-7 months?

Thanks in advance.

from this 3 coins i would prefer deeponion because 2018 will be the year of privacy coins. deeponion has still an airdrop concept. so value will rise.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeepOnion a good altcoin? on: January 17, 2018, 12:58:09 PM
DeepOnion is a promising altcoin. 2018 will be the year of anonymous coins. like at monero, zcoin, pivx, zchash. deep onion got a very strong community and a good development for features like deepvault.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nano ledger S safe from phising hacks? on: January 17, 2018, 12:54:49 PM
Hey guys, after some research i got mixed results on whether Nano ledger S is trully safe from phising attack, i would appretiate some more opinions to make up conclusion. Hypothetically lets say that user has Nano ledger S with tokens stored on it, and uses MyEthereumWallett to acess tokens (send/sell them) one day and while doing that accessing wrong MyEthereumWallet site (accessing phishing site), is user by default safe from being hacked in such case? Doesnt by such action phishing site still read the private key from Nano ledger once you use the website, the same way as keystone file is being read and after exposed? Or do you for any transaction whatsoever to take place on Nano ledger you need to be physically connected to computer in order to push transaction trough?

i guess that its safe. the private keys always stay in the ledger nano s.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: January 17, 2018, 12:51:39 PM
No, its probably not safe to invest in any of it since a lot of them might turn out to be scams.

You need to find a good one that actually does have something new to offer. Not to mention  that have to do your part of reading the whitepaper.

72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How get free Altcoin with Newbie account ? on: January 17, 2018, 12:47:07 PM
I am a newbie and I would like to ask for some share on how to earn free altcoin. Help me

you can participate at airdrops if they allow newbies. otherwise you can participate airdrops with initial investment. e.g. if u hold at least 1 btx bitcore you will get 5-7% airdrop on your stake weekly.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell all alts for Bitcoin while it's down? on: January 17, 2018, 12:45:01 PM
I know everything is down right now.. especially Bitcoin.. Should we sell our alts for Btc and rebuy when it rises again or is it much for muchness?

There are 4 options:
1. as u said sell alts for btc.
2. sell btc for alts
3. just hold
4. no investing.

i think no.4 is not recommended because you will miss a great opportunity. no.3 is good if u want to be safer. atm no.1 and 2 are both good equal options.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better Ripple or Tron? on: January 17, 2018, 12:38:12 PM
I wanted to know which is better is it Ripple or Tron? Smiley

i don't know if u made some researches. comparing this both is not useful. ripple got a big pump but then dumped because realized that is a centralized bank coin. tron was pumped without wp and use case scenarios. its better to stay away from them.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟 [BOUNTY CLOSED] Pareto Network - The P2P Financial Content Marketplace on: January 15, 2018, 04:50:24 PM
Very fast spreadsheet updates.

When is bounty distribution (signature) is planned sir?
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking for a long term coin on: January 15, 2018, 03:52:01 PM
I have 500$, i'm kind of a short term trader, but now i dont have much time for it
Please suggest me some alt for holding (about 2-3months), one of my opinion is ADA, is it possible?

As users said ada is good for longterm because its in development with a nice roadmap. Btc is always a good idea. If u want playing riskier try bitcore btx. Its a btc hybrid fork, very fast and active devs
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherdelta is a complete ripoff on: January 15, 2018, 03:49:25 PM
People try to use other exchanges as Etherdelta is a complete ripoff with all the stupid gas fees. Every move you need to do there you will be charged. They should be banned.

Ed is a fraud for me now. It was good for me at beginning. Now hacked, sold and a senseless ico.
I tried so transfer my coin on ed wallet and spent 23$ for transaction. Transaction was refused.wtf? My money just gone for nothing.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The ideal cryptocurrency. What should it be? on: January 15, 2018, 03:45:42 PM

I think, we need a new topic.

To gather into it all the problems that our community faces when working with crypto-currencies and understand: what should it be - " the ideal crypto currency"?
And, why do we need it?

The first problem. Uncontrolled growth of the commission for the transaction.

The second problem. A sharp slowdown in transaction speed, due to increased load on the system.

Add problems. Everybody is invited. Roll Eyes

1. decentralized
2. anonymous on high grade like monero
3. no transaction fees
4. a real world purpose (a use case e.g. like siacoin)
5. secure wallets
6. coin holder benefits

Any coin recommendations?
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most promising coins of 2018 on: January 15, 2018, 03:42:47 PM
As you all know 2018 is going to be big for crypto world,

Which coins you think below $10 going to rise like Ethereum, Litecoin and Dash, because these were also below $10 in Dec 2016

P.S: Only serious suggestions please

Well imo bitcore btx is a promising coin which is getting attention after cmc updated circulating supply. I admit that i really like that project. Roadmap also promising. Have a look.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of Cryptocurrency on: January 15, 2018, 03:38:32 PM
Disadvantages of Cryptocurrency

1. Difficult to understand – Cryptocurrencies are relatively new and come with a learning curve. People end up investing without proper knowledge and lose money to something they did not learn about.
2. Lack of knowledge – People are not aware of how to use cryptocurrency and hence open themselves to hacker. The technology is somewhat complex and therefore one needs to be mindful of it before investing.
3. Not accepted widely – Not many websites and companies accept digital currencies yet. Very few countries have legalized the use of cryptocurrencies. It makes it impractical for everyday use. Due to lack of acceptance, before buying or investing online or offline, you need to make sure that it’s accepted at that place where you want to use it. Although it is slowly getting the acceptance around the world, it will take time to take the idea entirely out of the shadows.
4. Can lose your wallet – There is a possibility of losing your wallet. If you have stored the money in the form of digital currency on your phone or computer, you better remember your password and not lose those devices. Losing your coins means you won’t be able to retrieve it, even with the help of legal assistance so that is just one of Bitcoins flaws.
5. No way to reverse the payment – If you mistakenly pay someone by using cryptocurrency, then there is no way to get a refund of the amount paid. All you can do is to ask the person for a refund and if your request is turned down, then just forget about the money.
6. Uncertainty – Since cryptocurrencies are so new, they are also very volatile. This is one of the main reasons mass adoption is taking longer than it should. Many corporations don’t want to deal with a form of money that is going to go through huge swings in volatility.

Valueable post. Please add that they are also unsecure. Projects or ico can scam people, dev stop development and keep project alone and whale could manipulate the market.
