Not much luck this round.  Both the Bulldogs and Cowboys played strong, but were beaten by even stronger opponents.

Tonight, as with last night, the Bulldogs "declined to convert the try" hoping to score in the last 90 seconds.  I never knew that was a thing, and like last night, it didn't work.  Both the Roosters and Bulldogs lost.  (they were going to loose anyway).

At best I'll have five from eight this round.

Yeh I did see that post - I'm sure you will agree sometimes it isn't the wallet address that trip up scammers, rather it's the pattern of their behaviour.

swaga https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2819139;dt has started a thread about BC - I'm already getting a feeling they *might* be yet another alt attempting to created FUD against BC.
65  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - asu u=519783 on: March 29, 2024, 05:39:33 AM
@broke_tradah - some lenders are actually okay with having the occasional scammer walk off with the bag - then expect the rest of us to come in and support their scam accusation/flags against that user.

@nutildah - in the context of the above, DireWolfM14 chose to ignore the warning signs and then got burned.

@pinggoki  - there are others who lend from time to time, but increasingly, there aren't the checks and balances and as I said to broke_tradah, when the lender gets burned, they expect the rest of us to come in and mop up their mess with support of flags or scam accusations.

It's kinda hard to enforce a rule to make people receive and send a transaction inside Bitcoin Core.

Yeh you can - don't give them merits on what appears to be a whim or need to be seen to be *cough* generously handing out merits.
67  Other / Meta / Re: Alts vs farm. on: March 29, 2024, 05:16:00 AM
loycev also has an alt.
Why me? A much better example would be a Global Moderator and Administrator with alts.

I have 3 or 4 alts

I do not post with them or do signatures with them.

This is true.

LoyceV has five or six alts in total - the majority of which are bots and he's also confessed he forgot he had an obscure bot alt at one point.

To respond to the OP - signature campaign managers will stipulate you can't use an alt in the same campaign - essentially, when caught you loose that week's worth of earnings and are usually slapped with red tags for "breaking the rules"

70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Rugby] Union / League / Super / Sixes Sevens Pro14 / Cups & Tours / Olympics on: March 29, 2024, 04:50:52 AM
Sorry - I was meaning the Parlays.  I saw the first half of the game last night.  The Roosters were favourites to win last night, but after two quick converted tries in four minutes by the Panthers, the Roosters suffered a disallowed try (ball landed just short of the try-line then skidded over the try line with the player doing a full headstand roll over).  In the end, the Roosters caught up (almost) in the last ten minutes to go down 16 - 22 (that disallowed try - plus the missed conversion at full time would have leveled the scores).

Very shortly, the Bulldogs are going to chase down the Bunnies, then in about four hours, the Cowboys are going to ride the Broncos for all they are worth (the broncos have multiple players off with injury this weekend)

It's not blackmail but suggestions to follow so that they can get rid of the negative feedback and the victim receive aids.

The "victim" being himself.  (there's no reference link either)

Simultaneously, he created a flag, so even if he (sly wink) removes the negative trust feedback (which we all know he won't) the flag is there regardless of whether or not anyone supports it.

While I am not in danger of running out of sMerits any time soon, I am burning merits at a very fast rate and my current allocation is not replenishing fast enough to cover for it.

Perhaps if you stopped gifting the same users [BPIP] HUNDREDS of merits, then you might just have enough merits to gift those who deserve them.

... and your appear to be using blackmail in your trust feedbacks of others:

CoinPayCard.net    2023-02-26        Took my $220 and did not reload my card. Give me my money and the tag will go away.

Indymoney    2021-02-16    Reference    Loan default! Will remove if you pay back

mikelsmith2020    2021-03-06    Reference    This account is affiliated with Adkinsbet, who have multiple credible scam accusations against them, and opened a self moderated thread for them and is deleting replies critical of Adkinsbet.

This feedback will not be removed.

74  Other / Meta / Re: Alts vs farm. on: March 28, 2024, 12:30:11 AM
If you're farming alts don't be surprised if you start getting negative trust feed-backs and negative DT trusts from numerous other users.
75  Economy / Lending / Re: Why do you take a loan on this forum? on: March 28, 2024, 12:24:36 AM
There's a user here (I'm sure you all know who I am talking about without me having to say their name) who has been "building trust" over many months with loans that started out as $100 - $200 at a time - they have a proven history of being late with their loan repayments and now they are lending anywhere from $1,000 to $2,000 at a time with overly abundantly generous loan repayments and far fetched stories of "get rich schemes" that is funding their lending habit.

And that's the thing.  It's a habit.

Drug users have a habit.  They start out with recreational amounts of illicit substances. Then, as their dependency on drugs overwhelms them, they get greedy and turn to theft or deception to fund their habit taking out "pay day loans" to fund their addiction.  On payday, they repay the loan for the previous week of drug taking, then have to take out another loan to pay for this week's fix.

Rinse and repeat.

But back to non collateral loans.  With a proven record of late repayments and what looks like a "drug habit addiction" lending, (or at best a gambling addiction) anyone lending to such a user has no right to complain when that user overdoses or misses a repayment (or simply goes dark) when they can't repay their obligations.

Forewarned is forearmed.
76  Economy / Lending / Re: personal loan 500-1000 € on: March 28, 2024, 12:09:28 AM
does someone wants 5 € crypto ?  i can send  coin doesn't matter

to show my trust

How does you sending five of any dollar value in crypto make us believe you are worthy of receiving a loan?

Do you recall me telling you many weeks/months (or was it years?) ago that if you SAVE $1 per day you would have around €100 in three months?  Do you remember that?

Or, are you just Trolling us?
77  Other / Meta / Re: Icopress - Merit Source Application on: March 27, 2024, 11:55:16 PM
Just scrolling back through many pages of your post history (going back over the last few months) anyone can see the majority of your own posts are in the gaming section (usually typical one line glib comments) - do you feel you have enough coverage of the various sections of the forum to be in a position to hand out endless merits to a wide cross section of the forum?

Or just people in your signature campaigns?

Just a bit insane. Only four from eight picks. There are numerous injuries from the weekend. Hopefully, thinks will settle down.

Definitely points to consider. Further discussion should be kept in the scam accusation thread. BC has taken our observations on board and appears to be keeping an open mind.

Blossom15 is my alt aswell.

You should stop being ridiculous and getting a life outside would be good to you aswell.

From their trust feedback page:

coinlocket$    2019-04-09    Reference    Selling accounts with other people's Kyc, not trustworthy

It's very evident from the patchy posting that the UID is someone's alt - but is it yours?  Or, are you just trying to muddy the waters?
