61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Could Hit $1 This Year on: November 25, 2020, 05:07:45 PM
XRP and XLM have really been on moon rides in past few days, the major reason for XRP sky rocketing is the development progress and upcoming SPARK airdrop for XRP holders. In as much as I'm bullish for most top coins, let's always know when to take profit for altcoins generally. I remember setting buy orders for XRP and XLM hoping they fill, but to no avail. However, I'm happy fpr those who are enjoying the pump, I'm also happy with my portfolio presently.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Great news for XRP coin holders? on: November 25, 2020, 03:55:25 PM
Damn! xrp is going ballistic in price  Grin, i can see holders of this coin already jumping with joy, i was planing on buy some xrp few days back just for the sake of the airdrop and then i later change my mind not knowing what will happen with price and what will be the worth of the airdropped token (if it will be worthy at all) now looking at today's price am kinda regretting while i didn't buy just to take profit Cry

I was also planning to buy, just to take advantage of the airdrop but there was no clear official information about the SPARK airdrop. The price action on XRP due to the upcoming airdrop really marveled me. Recently, I read an article about it from Kucoin, but I think there will be massive dump after the airdrop. This is the issue with airdrop related pumps.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As the markets remains bullish; Do the right things on: November 24, 2020, 09:04:45 PM
I really do agree with OP that taking the right decisions (doing the right thing) while investing in crypto is expected of every wise investor. Presently new money is coming to crypto market since the crypto market is very bullish with BTC trying to attain new ATH. If we invest in any coin, we should understand the risk involved, it's either you make profit or lose, but to limit the loss, it's advisable to use stop limit. I usually use stop limit at support levels, so that when support is broken, I won't start blaming myself since I might get very emotional at very bad dips. Any decision a trader takes is solely his/her responsibility, hence we should be careful when taking decisions regarding crypto investment.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thought about New projects? on: November 23, 2020, 10:49:03 PM
that's true.even after defi finance come in market, people are getting more excited about crypto than before. You can check, at this moment more than 80% upcoming new project are behalf of defi finance platform! that's why scammers take advantages of people's weakness and consistently launching fake defi finance project in market & scam people money easily. don't follow new project without analysis, no matter how potential that project has

The hype around DEFI related projects has died down considerably, compared to when it just hit the crypto space. I remember when every old project added DEFI milestones to roadmap, some even rebranded to DEFI projects. Many new projects are taking advantage of DEFI while executing their scam exploits, that's so true, especially now that uniswap has made it easy for projects to add pair / liquidity to enable trading. Most new projects do not worth investing in, but a few are really amazing hence we shouldn't conclude that all new projects are money grabs.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: November 23, 2020, 08:22:07 PM
The potential of ethereum can't be denied, investors and whales don't just buy ethereum for nothing sake, to me Ethereum is still very undervalued right now, developers still use erc20 for new projects more than other smart contract projects, why? The interest in ethereum blockchain can't be compared to any so high gas fee isn't an excuse to stop using ethereum

Ethereum is the pace setter of smart contracts and the most trusted and efficient smart contract platform at the moment. In as much as I don't like the fact that transaction fee is high comparatively (compared to other blockchains with smart contract like TRON and BSC), it's still the most used. Countless projects have built on ETHEREUM blockchain and still building, ETH 2.0 is gaining massive traction even before official release. Holding ETH long term to me is a wise decision.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's good about BCH? on: November 23, 2020, 06:16:02 PM
great news for BCH fans, I am very happy with BCH...
fast transactions and also very cheap fees are the advantages of BCH. BCH is a refinement of Bitcoin and is very convenient to use as a transaction tool.

When you say refinement of Bitcoin, did you mean a modification to BTC? I agree partially because it's a fork of BTC with faster transaction speed, but still BTC remains unique, its truly decentralised hence there is no better refinement which serves as its replacement. I'm considering to buy some BCHA at this low prices, but not really made up my mind to do so.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STKR made a good milestone on: November 23, 2020, 04:37:33 PM
42 Micropools & completed the deposit of 1,344 $ETH to the official
Ethereum
 2.0 deposit contract⚡️⚡️

This represents the 1st contribution of #Stkr to #ETH2 staking, and this is just the beginning!

STKR a new language of staking!!

I've been following ANKR for sometime now, and their development progress is top notch. With the release of STKR, More attention is driven to the project. However, till the platform starts operating and people start staking on STKR, then I'll give my own views about it. New projects should emulate STKR, with unique products so far, and constant updates. Not certain if I can stake my ETH via STKR platform come 1st December, but hoping to do that.
68  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it a good time to get in or not on: November 23, 2020, 01:17:49 PM
For me I think it could still be profitable to invest to Bitcoin but the risk is high at the moment. Well it still up to you if you could manage to take profit that's good and if not well I hope it's a lesson that you should only invest when the price is low.

Best time to buy BTC was during the dips, but since investors are usually scared when prices go down, since nobody knows the bottom, investing at dips is really not an option for many. Presently I'm holding the planned amount of BTC I hoped to, but if I want to buy more BTC, let's say with 10,000$, I will divide the funds into four (2500$ each portion) and invest at intervals. This will enable me to be in profit if prices go up or buy the dips if prices go down to even up.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum remains the king of altcoins on: November 23, 2020, 12:36:11 AM
In my opinion ethereum has consistently been my smartest option with regards to cryptocurrency investment.

I'm positive that ethereum will continue to be the bedrock of the cryptocurrency space because with each new type of project being developed, the highest percentage of them still utilize  the ethereum blockchain in their development.

Ethereum remains the king of altcoins.

Very true, at least 70% of new projects utilizes Ethereum blockchain, especially DEFI project due to its smart contract feature and ease of creating tokens on top of ETH blockchain, mainly ERC20 and ERC721. When it comes to DEFI projects and NFTs, they heavily rely on ETHEREUM blockchain, hence its essence. I think ETH is a very good coin to hold long term and as OP wrote, it's King of altcoins. Uniswap for instance which is the biggest DEX presently is hinged on ETHEREUM.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the current Bull run stop on: November 22, 2020, 03:13:54 PM
Many people do not follow the rule of "buy the dips", they always FOMO in when prices start going up, hoping the uptrend continues like that. However, there must be ups and downs in chart, there is no precise pattern. I remember when BTC went as low as 3k+ due to Corona virus, many people kept panic selling and postulating it will touch 1k. Only very wise investors took the chance of buying at those low prices, now that BTC is trying to reach a new ATH, so many people are buying. Nobody knows the top, this is the bitter truth in crypto. If holding BTC long term as investment, there is no need to worry. But if trading it for profit, like OP mentioned "stop loss is like your seatbelt"
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin very Big problem on: November 22, 2020, 02:21:50 PM
I am often skeptical of the cryptocurrency market because cryptocurrency has neither a worldwide community nor a rule to make coins, so my faith is not more than just 10%. This is because 2 3 Coins of the same name can also be made.  Ho and no one sends you any legal notice or banner and if 10 projects come in 1 month, then 8 of them are fake, if this problem is not solved then trust in this market will not increase...

It's true that most crypto projects are baseless, some are copycats, most are scam since most developers just have the sole aim of making money and do not care about developing the project. There are no governing rules restricting developers from copying already existing concepts without modification, or using same project name, just to mention. This is because crypto is not legal in most parts of the world, but this doesn't mean adoption has not been going on over time, it has. We all are aware of these shortcomings but yet we invest because we are optimistic that someday things will be much more better, with reasonable regulations to curb these drawbacks.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency? on: November 21, 2020, 08:48:41 PM
now is the right time to buy cryptocurrencies, especially Altcoins,
I do not recommend Bitcoin because at this time the price is above, and it is prone to dumping,
yes if you want to buy Bitcoin I don't think it is a problem, because it is likely that bitcoin will be taken to $ 19,000.

You do not recommend BTC for real? Well, I just added 0.3 BTC to my portfolio yesterday after selling some shitcoins. Bitcoin is the future, most altcoins are good to make profit, and put it in BTC. This concept has been working well for me, so I stick to it. Well, I concur with your point that, now is the time to buy altcoins, but not just any altcoin. I think crypto enthusiasts are becoming wiser, hence those altcoins with good use cases and proven trustworthy for long term are doing great right now.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season probably won't happen like the past? on: November 21, 2020, 04:31:18 PM
Is there a possibility that only bitcoin will remain bullish this year? Can altcoin season be left out? The reason why I'm asking is some are already doubting, what if only very few altcoins grows higher in value and things failed to go the same way as that of 2017? What's your answer?

Honestly in my opinion, altcoin season just started, with ETH, XRP, LTC and some major altcoins doing really good. I think firstly, the big caps will pump, then small caps will follow suite. I'm not sure if we can have similar alt season like in 2017, but who knows, we might even surpass that and make a new ATH for most altcoins. My main happiness is that I've got a big ETH bag, and it's doing pretty well. 😊
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't repeat same mistakes on: November 21, 2020, 02:12:58 PM
Know when to get in and know when to get out, don't be a greedy bastard.

This is a very vital principle in crypto, some people will never sell their coins even when in massive profit, then watch it dump below entry. I think the essence of buying coins is making profit, hence it's wise to take profit when necessary without being overly greedy waiting for more gains. I regret holding PAZZI and not selling after it did almost 120% from my entry, later it dumped - 2x below my entry so now I'm a bag holder. The only coin I can hold long term without having a second thought is BTC.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: November 20, 2020, 10:45:11 PM
Specifically in the cryptocurrency market, the name of the cryptocurrency has little affect. Because here everyone is interested in profit, that is, people do not care what name the project and the token will have, as long as it makes a profit. Unlike brands, where the interest in a product to some extent depends on the brand name.

Very nice choice of words, I'm not disputing the fact that name doesn't matter a lot in crypto since some projects use funny names and horrible names yet still Excel and some use cool names but still fail. But in my opinion, a name which matches the project atleast goes a long way to make it look catchy for some investors. For instance, personally I would appreciate if a sporting project has a name related to sports, rather than having a name depicting finance and other sectors. This is just my point, doesn't mean I won't invest if name is not nice. Provided team, product, and other factors meet my expectations, I'll invest.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH ideal transaction fee using MEW? on: November 20, 2020, 08:50:53 PM
https://etherscan.io/gastracker

Use this tracker to find the recommended transaction fee for ethereum network and currently 86 gwei is the fastest amount to be set.If you are still facing the issue then there maybe some issues with the extension not with actual transaction.

I usually use the mentioned URL or https://ethgasstation.info to check current gas fees and then use standard fees to send. Imtoken has a way to set gwei and gas limit depending on user preference and current gas fee. I think it doesn't matter whether sending from MEW, TRUST wallet, imtoken or metamask, most important thing is using required gas fees for the transaction and there won't be delay issues. Actually I only set gwei and gas limit when the transaction is very important or urgent.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why can't the current Ethereum price keep up with the Bitcoin price? on: November 20, 2020, 04:30:22 PM
We all know that the price of Ethereum will grow when bitcoin is growing, everyone knows what happened in 2017. When bitcoin hit the price of $17k - $18k then the ethereum price was already over $1k - $1.2k, but now when bitcoin price is $17k but the ethereum price is very difficult to break the $500 price, shouldn't ethereum current price should is $1k

Actually what happened to ethereum?

Nothing happened to ETH, it's increasing at a good pace, even though I expected a bigger move considering the fact that ETH 2.0 launches 1st December. However, I'm holding ETH for very long term hence I don't bother about current prices. I do think long term holders for BTC and ETH will smile, requires a lot of patience anyway. There is no point comparing current price with what happened 2017, I even think bigger uptrend than 2017's is on the way.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple and Bitcoin on: November 20, 2020, 12:56:49 PM
Lol Saying Ripple will replace Bitcoin is like saying "dogs will lay eggs" which is impossible. I wonder why people make such unrealistic comparisons and postualtions, I'm not a holder of XRP and not exactly against it since I'm impressed with the development so far with Ripple, however saying it will replace BTC is hyperbole. Ripple is cool when it comes to speed of transaction and negligible fees, but BTC is the pace setter. Both are unique in their own ways anyway, Ripple being good for cross border payments, and BTC now seen as store of value in crypto. BTC is king, the difference is clear with respect to market cap.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot can take place of Ethereum? on: November 19, 2020, 11:00:08 PM
Do you think Polkadot is really Ethreum killer?

Many projects over time have been acclaimed "ETH killer" including EOS, but with time the hype dies down and all attention goes back to ETH as usual. I think what ETH needs to improve on truly is fees and speed of transaction which also points to scalability improvement. But however, this doesn't mean newer projects are better off, they need to experience the kind of traffic ETH network experiences before we can term them as "ETH killer". ETH in the real sense is far better than most of them.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Adds Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) to Peer-to-Peer Trading! on: November 19, 2020, 09:09:42 PM
Impressive update! Binance keep building and taking remarkable steps to maintain number 1 crypto exchange with innovations. Many FIAT pairs already compared to other exchanges before the newly added BDT to P2P trading, makes a lot of sense. CZ and team keep up with development progress to draw in more users to Binance, with awesome track records. Hoping to see other exchanges emulating these steps. Aside Uniswap being my best exchange (of course I'm a DEX degen), Binance is my second best exchange presently.
