61  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why people are unhappy? on: January 27, 2018, 09:33:35 AM
Did you ever thought why many people are not happy even they have many possessions in life?  Did you ever thought the reason behind those agonies even if they tried to be happy but it wont last that long?  Physically,  they showed to the whole world that they are strong,  they enjoy their lives to the fullest.  But at end of the day,  loneliness attacks.  Did you ever thought why people are unhappy?
People are always unhappy, what so ever. You can see on any level of satisfaction people are not happy and always want more, this is human nature. Ita can not be changed, and the basic reason of sadness is always wanting more than you already have.
62  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do u believe that Family is the foundation of a strong community? on: January 18, 2018, 07:39:53 PM
Do u believe that the Family is the foundation of a strong community?

And that's compose of a Father, Mother & Child/children.
Family is the basic unit of a society and keeping strong bond between family is the key to strengthen the society as a whole.
63  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think ISIS uses Bitcoin? on: December 28, 2017, 06:19:01 PM
We all know that Bitcoin is also popular to criminals because they can use it without exposing their identity. It will be more convenient to them to use Bitcoin so that they can hide their identity. Do you think that terrorist groups like ISIS use it for their transactions?
They are technologically very advanced as compared to other such groups especially in the field of IT. They might be using it, but I think its not as beneficial to them as we consider it to be. And if they are using it, it doesn't make any difference.
64  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is like heroin on: December 24, 2017, 07:47:21 PM
Just like heroin or crack cocaine, it creates an addiction.

Same as was gambling

Many in here seem to have been caught up in it, spending far too much of their money on something. Partially to get the dopamine rush of buying more coin, and partially to satisfy their gambling lust hoping to score big.

It is no different than the people gambling their savings away on the roulette. Right now we are at the point where they have entered the casino and have been lucky, so they are up more money than they came. But instead of quitting while they are ahead they genuinely believe that their luck continues.

In the end it ends bad.
You are absolutely right. Its very addicting. I have invested a little, and now a days, due to that dip, I sometimes can't even sleep. Sometimes I wake up during my sleep to check the rates. This trading thing has made me sick. I am thinking of putting my investment still in one alt-coin and let it stay there as long as I need it back, and I hope that it increase its value, that will be some extraa favour !
65  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: December 24, 2017, 08:33:34 AM
i had about $200 worth of bitcoin.
How can i earn more with that amount?
should I trading? or make an investment?
and please give me some trusted site to investing my wealth.

**i dont want to give a loan, or else.**

if you had some advice, feel free to tell me.
really apreciate it.
thank you.
Trading is investing. But through trading, you can increase your investment by trading in alt coins. If you hit a good deal, you can even double your money in no time.
Trading is progressing, laying still is not. Best of luck in trading.
66  Other / Off-topic / Re: If bitcoin goes to zero on: December 23, 2017, 06:42:57 PM
Rest goes to zero as well?

Which is kinda weird. Everything is measured in BTC. Which makes it the digital gold and bridge between $ (real world) anf crypto.
I have also observed during trading that every crypto depends on bitcoin. When bitcoin dips or rises by a slight amount, you will see that trends of every currency will match the dip and rise of bitcoin. All cryptos goes the same way, So 'YES' i would say if bitcoin goes to zero, every crypto currency will go to zero.
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will be over $20k again next week or in 2018? on: December 23, 2017, 06:36:15 PM
I believe that. What do you think guys. Should I buy more BTC now and catch the the wave of price up?
It will not go up that quickly, but hopefully it will cross the milestone of 20k in next 2-3 weeks. And we really hipe that it does, because 'we', the holders depend on it. Its our money, our investment.
68  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe all of the religious people are bad ? on: December 19, 2017, 09:08:09 AM
According to me, All of the religions are poisoning people's mindset and soul . I am sure sure that religions make humanity into evil creatures. What do you think about this situation ? I would like to learn your opinions.
Actually the real religious people are good, I would say the best of humans. But what happens is that people portray as religious but are busy in gaining worldly favors for themselves which let people think that the religious people are bad ones or even the religion is bad, which is not actually the case.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: December 19, 2017, 08:08:24 AM
We all know that there is corruption everywhere, like in government or any other organization. Because of money, corruption can always happen with greedy people who always wants more money to them. Since bitcoin can be considered as money, can it also lead to corruption?
Bitcoin is already leading to corruption. Many people use bitcoin to make their black money white and expand at the same time. That's why many governments have banned it and others will do it soon as it expands. Now lets see how long it takes for this bubble to burst. Hope for the best Smiley
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: December 13, 2017, 08:08:24 AM
Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink
All your points are valid, but there is a slight ambiguity. The price of digital currency is not stable, it fluctuates very rapidly. Like one day you can buy a shirt for 100 units and the next day its for sale for 160 units of same currency. The other major problem is that, Paper currency have equivalent amount of Gold reserves behind and that controls its price, while digital currency have no such physical entity.
71  Other / Politics & Society / Re: do you think that corruption can be deleted totally in your country? on: December 12, 2017, 10:02:15 AM
if you don't think so, can you explain how to solve that problem? at least it starts from your selves?
From my country, it can not be deleted, because here corruption starts from the very grass-root level. Almost every single person is corrupt according to his authority level. from a peon or policemen to the prime minister, there are corrupt people on every level. If a good honest leader came into power, even than he can not eradicate corruption from this country.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: December 12, 2017, 06:50:35 AM
October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

I am surprised by the pace it took in last 3 months. Its 3-4 times higher now and getting stable on this price which indicated its long stay here or even increase more from here. Its stability at this current price proves that it was not a momentary peak/rise. Its future looks bright to me.
73  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why government don't accept bitcoin??? on: December 11, 2017, 03:03:33 PM
There are many countries where bitcoin is not legal..Why they don't accept the better technology..I can't understand why they don't accept it??What do you think about this topic, please share..
Because through this trading platform or investment, people throw their money into bitcoin, and that money circulates around the world. When money leaves the country, governments dont like it at all.
74  Economy / Economics / Re: What makes Bitcoin to move this fast? on: December 11, 2017, 12:40:54 PM
Guys I'm wondering why BTC is moving this fast to up? With logic there should be  a huge amount of money flew into BTC market but I don't see any reason to  make this happen.

Is there any economic reasons about this massive flying to up? What are your opinions about this happenings? Huh
Its a new concept and its booming and trending in many countries. Most people just follow the trend, and they see if others are earning through it, why dont I earn this fast. Its a fast trek trading and hence attracts people. But it must have a certain limit after which it will collapse, but no one knows when, so till than enjoy and Earn. Smiley
75  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: when do you buy ? on: December 11, 2017, 12:19:07 PM
I see a lot of people talking about when to sell; but I think that buying is as important if not more (obviously you buy* low -_-). so do you guys aim to buy the lowest low of the day/week/month/... and do you think that is riskier and/or hard to predict. do you wait for price reversals? do you follow expert advice?? please share your thoughts and your stories (successful or otherwise Smiley)
What I do is check the 1 month or 7 day trend, if a currency had fallen for a long time from a very high (3-4 times high) price, I go for it and than the waiting game kicks in. Please suggest any better idea if you have. Thanks
76  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know when to sell? on: December 11, 2017, 12:09:08 PM
Can i anybody put me through the basics of knowing when to sell and when to hold?...
I actually don't know much about market rise in demand and supply and it's affecting me in daily trade of cryptocurrency.
Your profit and loss depends more on luck than your choices, but a general rule to follow is to sell a stock when it on the higher side, or the highest price you expect it to achieve, and buy a certain stock when its on the lower side.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you choose bitcoin? on: December 11, 2017, 09:43:02 AM
Hey all,

I’m conducting a research on cryptocurrencies and I’m especially interested in why people choose Bitcoin. And since you are bitcoin users/experts, I thought you would be the best people to ask. It would be great if you could take the time to answer my questions (anonymously), I promise it will take no more than 10 minutes.

Click on the following link to go to the survey - https://uvacommscience.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3lzs2sI13cKH1m5?source=bitcointalk

If you are interested, I could post my main findings here.

Thank you.
Bitcoin is the King of crypto currencies and if anyone chose to invest in crypto currencies, its only bitcoin he will opt for. I opted for bitcoin because it is going higher and gaining popularity. It seems to me that it has a future.
78  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fantasy vs Reality on: December 11, 2017, 09:35:59 AM
We are an creative and imaginative beings by nature. We fantasize about things which we cannot act upon in reality. Let's split the question.

1. What''s the difference between fantasy and reality in your opinion, do not tell me you have never fantasized about anything?

2. Does your imagination/or your fantasy influence your decisions in reality?

3. What do you think, is holding on to your fantasy would make you successful or embracing the reality and surrendering to it is the way of success?

I would have used dream instead of fantasy, but dreaming is a subconscious process which we do not have much control upon, but fantasizing is a conscious process where we purposefully/deliberately think that this thing could have been like this rather than that.

Another thing, fantasy here is not in the NSFW sense, it is more like reality vs your thought process or what you think should be real.

These quotes would be more helpful.

Quote
We need fantasy to survive because reality is too difficult

Quote
Pleasure may come from illusion, but happiness can come only of reality.
Everybody have fantasies and now a days my biggest fantasies are revolving around earning big in bitcoins.
No, my decisions in real life are not affected by my fantasy.
One should hold on to his/her fantasy and strive/struggle for it, it might come true, as it came true for me in my love life.
79  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Delay in Bitfinex trading deals. on: December 11, 2017, 08:24:44 AM
I am using bitfinex for trading of different currencies. When i sell a small currency to buy Bitcoins, there is a delay of 20 mins to 5 hours in execution of that deal. It really bothers me and i am unable to trade during that time. Is there any solution for that problem ? Please help in this regard. Thanking you in anticipation .......
Hey
Do you place an order for a certain amount or you close orders?
You need to learn how exchange operates
If you place an order to sell or buy it will not be executed until somebody will not buy at you desired price.
If you want to buy immediately close one of the opened orders or place order with a current price
Hope that will help

Well I closed an order, and the price dropped by large. I have closed it at a high price. now if I cancel it, I loose that amount which is the difference in prices. Than whats the point of online/instant trading platform ?
80  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: December 11, 2017, 08:04:12 AM
I'm not sure if there's another thread for this already, or if this belongs in a different section. So basically I thought it would be helpful to post up your Bitcoin address in this thread in the event that your account gets compromised later on down the road. You can simply make a new alt account, sign the address that your original account posted here, and have irrefutable proof that you're the actual owner. It's not 100% guaranteed that you'll get your account back, but it's a pretty good start. Of course, if your account is compromised, the hacker could just come back to this thread and edit/delete whatever address you post here, so that's why I'm asking people to quote the address posted by the preceding user in this thread. Here's mine:

It seems a good idea. Either it works or not, but it will add a sense of security.
