@_javi_ I only just noticed your Manic Miner pic - damn, that brings back memories! We used to play that for hours and hours on end on our ZX Spectrum when I was a kid. The Kempston joystick used to take a hammering That, and Sabre Wolf are the ones I remember most. Happy carefree days. Hey there, Strawbs! Yup, nostalgia hits hard when you grow older, and you start to cherish those moments. Last week I got an N-Go board (Spectrum Next clone) and placed inside a 48k reproduction case (rubber keys). 35 years later i have a Speccy again. To make the perfect combo, i modded an old 21" Sony Trinitron CRT TV, to accept RGB video. Pure awesomeness! Enough of the off topic... I want to note that my Newegg order went thru with BTC at 55300 usd, 20 mins ago. Now that i spent 0.05, the rise continues ($56200 atm). Thank me later.

Transaction fees are crazy as pointed out above. Maybe we are heading for a dip first? Not wanting that but just being realistic. good info, thanks. TX fees tend to be volatile, though, but maybe you are on to something...or not. I fully expected a double-hump bull season, but projected first stop to be 70-85K. If it is 65K instead, then the subsequent "small bear" (before the resumption of the bull in late summer/early fall) should be less punishing. We shall see. I am not buying or selling here. I had to pay a 2700usd order at Newegg (0.05 BTC thru Bitpay) as my daughter needs a new laptop for her online "classes" (and daddy wants it to be an rtx3060 one ) At checkout, i was asked for 22 usd from Coinomi wallet for a 'normal' fee tx. (I'm concerned about the payment options presented by Bitpay when Coinomi wallet is selected: BTC... Bcash and Doge )

Sold all my corn, to buy gas for my boat.
Then i suffered an accident and the boat sunk.
I'm selling a photo (low res) of the wreckage as an NFT. I'll hopefully get my corn back.
Happy (and bullish) april for you all!

What does the profit on GPU mining look like at the moment? Any hopes it will calm down soon? I just want to get an upgrade so I can play Cyberpunk decently. Not a chance in hell. Chip shortage until 2022. Best I can find available around here since Early January is the 1660 Super but I doubt that would give you a great Cyberpunk experience. I think there will be a flood of cheap gpus for sale by next july, when ETH activates EIP1559. Dunno who is still buying and scalping gpus at these prices with such a deadline in close sight...

Interesting analysis over on Willy Woos twitter regarding the supposed 19k bitcoin transfer to Gemini. https://twitter.com/woonomicApparently CryptoQuant sent out a tweet saying that a large inflow to Gemini had just occured, and it means that a whale is about to dump. Minutes later the market dumped. However, there was no evidence to say that this was a whale about to dump and due to the liquidity of the exchange it would make zero sense for a whale to do so. But that didn't stop CryptoQuant from effectively manipulating the market. Pretty unprofessional. The coins are no suspected of belonging to BlockFi. Anyway, more cheap coins for the true beleivers so all good. The fact that we dumped 8k on rumors/fear of a dump and now its taking so long to recover some of the losses, makes me nervous.

Computing Pi beyond 40 digits is pointless except as an academic exercise. Any phone today can compute pi to 100 digits even with inefficient programming. The most distant spacecraft from Earth is Voyager 1. It's about 12.5 billion miles away. NASA only needs 15 decimal digits of pi to have an error margin of 1.5 inches at that distance. If we used 40 digits of pi, you could calculate the circumference of the entire known or visible universe. About 46 billion light-years. To an accuracy equal to the diameter of a hydrogen atom. There is no need for 1 million digits of pi, or waste 100 days to calculate trillions of digits. https://www.jpl.nasa.gov/edu/news/2016/3/16/how-many-decimals-of-pi-do-we-really-need/I think I just printed pi on one of my school paper notebooks or something to 50 digits and used that as the cover. 3.1415xxxxxx ... heh. What's the value of Pi? Mathematician - 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105820974944592307816406286 208998628034825342117067982148086513282306647093844609550582231725359408128481 Physicist - 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716 Engineer - about 3 something Engineers use a minimum of 3 significant digits as a rule. ..and then you use a 3x factor of safety. (at least in civil engineering)

Is there anything better than waking up in the morning, going to the toilet to take a good shit, switch on the smartphone and watch that green candle grow to break an old ATH in real time?! EDIT: Short version: Good morning. ATH!!! Hey man. Wanted to PM you, but it may interest others too. IIRC, you mentioned you're using Blockfolio (smartphone app). Do you recommend it (the Android version)? Is it stable and does it have reliable alerts? I don't want to add my actual portfolio (for security reasons), but just to easily check candlestick charts and have price alerts on the go. I currently use a Bitcoin widget, but it just shows the current price and no alerts... Also, does Blockfolio show ads, and if yes, is there an ad-free (paid) version? I hate buggy and/or ad-based apps. The OCD in me... Thx! I used Blockfolio and it was ok. But then switched to DELTA. I like the numbering format better, as Blockfolio uses abreviations for some numbers and i like seeing the whole digits.
