61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Role of Cryptocurrencies in Pandemic Times on: January 25, 2021, 06:30:18 PM
This pandemic period is very detrimental for all of us, especially financial problems. Luckily I have been working on #Crypto since 2017 and this year I found EquilibriumDeFi to boost my finances.
Regarding the details of EquilibriumDeFi you can see it on their official twitter https://twitter.com/EquilibriumDeFi

How about your experience?
Yeah, during pandemic and lockdowns crypto has not only given people a new tech for payments and transfers but an alternative investment market as well and i think that crypto has now started to receive the limelight that also shows that we are moving closer to mass adoption. Also DeFi which is a product of crypto has provided alternative financial services to people also they can make side or extra income utilizing defi so overall crypto has really supported the masses during pandemic and it has emerged as a winner.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are you guys trading today? on: January 25, 2021, 04:46:19 PM
With recent price movements and a couple of weeks of correction and accumulation im hopeful that next leg up is not far away so next few years we can get the big pump but remember that the real parabolic market is yet to be unleashed which is expected to be here in summer.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: You can lose transfering and withdrawing on: January 24, 2021, 08:42:18 PM
You can lose profit sending trading and withdrawing if you are trading a small amount I have $50 worth of Ferum or FRM it will take $6 to send the whole amount to Bilaxy and after you trade it to Eth and wants to withdraw it you will have to spend $12 to withdraw your Eth,
now that's $18 gas fees for your $50, my only option is to trade it to other altcoins like DGB or Litecoin which offer $4 to $5 fee you still going to lose $11, that's over 20%.
This is unfortunately true and there is nothing much we can do about it. The only hope is the implementation and activation of the eth 2.0 that will make the network fast and cheap but for that we still have to wait for few months.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the things to look for when buying Altcoin? on: January 24, 2021, 08:04:05 PM
Currently, if you want to buy any altcoin, it is very difficult. You can't choose an option quite easily. Also, the crypto market is currently volatile. In such circumstances if one wants to buy altcoin. So what should be the main focus?
At this stage as the market is expected to grow because of longterm bull cycle i would suggest to not take high risk by investing in new projects rather stick with top quality coins and for that i would suggest vechain and tron as i think both of them are high profit projects.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: which one will you choose? on: January 24, 2021, 07:14:04 PM
I am an Ethereum fan and I also invest in Ethereum, but I saw Polkadot price increase very high and now Polkadot is in the top 5 on coinmarketcap, so in your opinion in the next 7 days, which price will increase very high? Ethereum or Polkadot?

if I personally would definitely choose Ethereum Grin
7 days is very small time frame for such predictions but im obviously very bullish about ethereum price considering the momentum it is showing plus the fundamentals on the other hand polkadot is also an extremely awesome project that has high potential for growth.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Quantity of Altcoins to buy? on: January 24, 2021, 06:16:56 PM
Hi  I am spending a ton of time reading, watching and asking questions to those who know.

But one question I have in mind is: Let's say you identify an altcoin you want to buy, let's say Tron..... Currently 2p a coin.

What would people normally spend on this coin? Obviously as many as you can in case it shoots up to £10 a coin... But just keen to understand how people think / buy.

Would you spend £20 or £100. Or does it depend on your overall goal short term or long term?

Any input welcome.   Cool
That depends solely on one's own financial strategy and worth of the project in his eyes, for example if im very confident about a coin i will definitely want to buy as many as i can initially especially if i think that 10x potential is there.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you in panic whenever there is a big drop in price? on: January 20, 2021, 09:57:57 PM
I'm sure everybody have checked and saw the big drop -18.8% in 24 hours to be exact and keeps going down, we don't know if it will go further and so are the other top coins in the market, are you in panic, nervous that the market is bleeding like this, or do you accept this as part of the market movement, what kind of trader are you
I do get panic sometimes especially if i have just purchased a coin and then the next day price drops hard but thanks to spot crypto trading it is not that kind of panic which we get during margin or leveraged trading and that is why i like only 1:1 spot trading.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remember when ETH was $1400 a few years ago then crashed to $70 as BTC crashed? on: January 20, 2021, 09:25:27 PM
ETH really is a shitcoin with no intrinsic value. Its not a store of value since when bitcoin crashes 20% then ETH crashes 50%. When Bitcoin rises ETH barely follows, ETH is still 65% down compared to the recent BTC rise.

2018: Bitcoin $19000, ETH $1400
2021: Bitcoin $32000, ETH $1000

If you stayed in ETH you have lost more money than Enron. ETH is a scam.

There is alot of new projects that do everything better than ETH or will in the future. Let us find something better than ETH that we can all buy for cheap now have a giant distribution for everyone and then go to the moon! No need to make ETH devs and people owning 50000 ETH rich for sucking $20 transaction fees out of us.
I do not think that there is any need to worry about Eth price at the moment because we all know btc is always the one that moves ahead of the market when bulls overtake but with recent movements in price i expect Ethereum to really pick up and moon in next few weeks, lets see how it goes.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Central bankers to obtain all bitcoin in the end. on: January 20, 2021, 08:03:09 PM
What is electricity bought with?
What are coins bought with?
What are miners bought with?
Fiat.

Who will have the biggest mining farm in the end?
Central bankers

Who will collect all coins in the end from network fees AKA enforced tax fees?
Central bankers

Sorry to say
"bitcoin is almost as bs a fiat" -Elon Musk

Stay enslaved idiots.
I showed you the way out and my post keep getting deleted from this forum for 10 years now.

Everyone should be creating the currency not a select few(fiat) or people with cash(bitcoin).

Mint supply 1 hour coin an hour to all willing participants.

If you are an anti btc or anti crypto person then i do not think that this forum is the right place for you to be, yes you can post in social media or post at other relevant places but this forum is for crypto enthusiasts and i do not think you will get any encouragement or positive response here.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ALTSEASON 2021 on: January 20, 2021, 07:15:17 PM
Majots like btc, eth, ltc rallied. There is many coins moving. Altseason started already or not?

https://koinbul.com/

Not yet dear because in altseason we see gains like 50x 100x in short span of time so the market clearly goes parabolic and unstoppable, considering that i do not think that the real altseason is here yet so maybe still a chance to pile up good alts to really make monster profits in bulls season.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum going up? on: January 19, 2021, 09:13:54 PM
Hi im new here.  just want to hear your thoughts on ETH.. its been hanging around at 1200.  Thanks
Finally Ethereum seems to be ready to break and achieve new highs in eth/usdt pair and similarly if we talk about eth/btc pair, it is also moving now which is great sign for eth bulls and indication of good bullish momentum in eth price.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH overpriced? on: January 19, 2021, 08:41:20 PM
Ethereum's native token (ETH) is on a constant uptrend in price as Bitcoin soars towards new ATHs. The "De-Fi" hype has been the major driving factor for ETH's recent price boost. High network load and high market prices, translates in ridiculously high fees to the end user making "De-Fi" impractical on the Ethereum blockchain. Yet, people continue to buy and "hodl" ETH like there's no tomorrow.

What I can't understand is how ETH has a high price when there's no hard cap established by the developers yet. ETH has an inflationary model where new coins are generated over time. It never hits the ceiling in terms of max supply. This should make ETH less valuable over time. But that's not the case, as ETH sits well above $600 per coin. Am I missing something here? Why is ETH much more expensive than Litecoin? I mean, Litecoin has a deflationary model (unlike Ethereum) with a hard cap of 84 million coins. If we base ourselves on this, Litecoin should've been worth a lot more than Ethereum today.

Thoughts? Huh
To be honest Ethereum has just broken out of its long perhaps over 3 year of downtrend and accumulation phase so now it seems like a complete trend reversal and i do not think it will end soon or for cheap and the new all time high peak price for ETH will be insanely huge this time around.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the state of cryptocurrency is very difficult to predict on: January 19, 2021, 07:42:32 PM
Many people predict that Ripple will be defeated and replaced by Litecoin, but what happened was not as expected, because it was not Litecoin who defeated and replaced Ripple, but Polkadot who had defeated and replaced Ripple and the unexpected is Cardano who immediately defeated and replaced Litecoin, so that makes me believe that in the future Cardano will beat Ripple and make Polkadot a rival.

Yes, both polka dot and cardano will be the strongest contenders to take the place of ripple but also be ready for surprises as a clearance by SEC to ripple can add fire and fomo to xrp resulting in extreme pump that will further strengthen its top position especially after SEC new pro crypto chairman.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum ATH just surpassed $1440 and dettached from BTC's price coupling on: January 19, 2021, 06:59:34 PM

Ethereum has broke it's all time high of $1400 earlier today with it reaching $1445 before sliding a bit to where it is now at $1416~.
https://www.coindesk.com/ethereums-ether-cryptocurrency-sets-new-price-record-on-major-exchanges

Can it keep this up and will it finally be free of following the all mighty BTC price as it has since it's inception back in 2016?
https://www.coindesk.com/first-mover-ether-all-time-high-price-as-bitcoiners-hodl
Very exciting time for eth holders and looks like activation of staking has worked where more than 3 million circulating Eth are already locked into staking, this scenario just indicates the perfect bullish scenario ahead for eth.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: January 18, 2021, 07:52:31 PM
The biggest money making slot in crypto space is to be

1. a developer
2. build crypto wallets for new projects
3. find bugs in the system of many new projects

yes some paid for security breaching and all that stuff, rendering professional services is the best way to make money in crypto space now
It is true that there are more and better ways to make much more and regular income from crypto related jobs other than doing bounties and airdrops but you would have to devote your day for that and those are kind of fulltime jobs while bounties can be done parttime with your day job or business but the fact is that strangely there are not many good bounty campaigns active right now despite the great market performance which is disappointing for hunter community.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with crypto for government services on: January 17, 2021, 07:22:46 PM
Crypto is growing in popularity each day, bringing the attention of mainstream governments and banks worldwide. Some governments have already imposed regulations towards the crypto/Blockchain industry, while others are still undecided. I've heard that some US states allowed citizens to pay their taxes with crypto. I'm not sure if they still allow this, but it brings convenience to crypto "hodlers". Imagine being able to pay with crypto for a birth certificate, driver's license, and even bail predetermined by courts.

Do you think governments around the world will allow people to pay with crypto for their services? Or is it still too early to tell? Will accepting crypto payments directly, increase people's confidence into crypto/Blockchain tech? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Smiley
I am not much at ease to pay government tax and bills via crypto because they can then even ask for crypto taxes which i will hate, they just want to take our money out of everything, being a new tech i think all the governements around the world should declare crypto a tax free asset for atleast 10 years.

78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In which token i invest? on: December 26, 2020, 07:00:57 PM
Hello friends i have around 200$ in Ethereum. I want to invest for getting some profit. Tell me about your experience. What tokens or coins are best for invest this time.
There are dozens of coins worth investing so it is better you research about the best yourself from top 100 to invest, for top serious investors ethereum itself is a great hold but as your budget is small you can look around for some good projects with cheap pric.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altilly down after being hacked at Christmas. on: December 26, 2020, 05:09:38 PM
That is bad i had some tokens worth 200 usd atleast there and i thought it will be ok to store there because that project was not listed anywhere else, if they claim to be closing just because of this i would believe that they have done all this intentionally to exit scam.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best undervalue projects with not so big cap on: December 25, 2020, 07:06:06 PM
Hi, which are the undervalue projects (with not so big cap) in your opinion .I am asking for good coins not about some shit ones
Do not chase such coins when you can select from the top 100 coins im suggesting because the smaller coins have no stability and chances of mainstream success are also low so it is better to pick from established coins where risk is low.
