android wallet stuck at block 633129 (16 july 18:07)
The first version of the app on Google Play did not connect to any peers because its node list was out of date. That was fixed within one day, however, it is still possible that the app will not connect. Currently I am seeing 5 peers under the Network Monitor. Please let me know if there are any problems getting nodes (having no connections will prevent the app from working).

Hello everyone, as Hashengineering dont has the time to programm new wallets i am posting here for anybody who is interested. I put a bounty of 0.5 BTC plus 10k FRC for getting the WLC wallet fixed ( www.github.com/worldleadcurrency/wlcj & wlc-wallet). The original wallet was the digitalcoin-wallet by hashengineering. This was forked by Skirmant for Freicoin. As WLC is a Freicoin clone i try to adopt the wallet. I can install it and everything looks ok. But the wallet is not downloading any blocks and is using up the hole space on my phone. I am a little desperate scince i gone through the changes several times without finding any point where i can begin again. Any help is appreciated ;-) Many greetings Rik. What does the log say? How many peers does the app connect to? Perhaps there is a verification error with difficulty or block hash? Did the Genesis block verification work?

Thank you for the feedback. I am starting to fix the items that are actually broken, such as the QR code scanning. https://github.com/HashEngineering/unobtanium-wallet/releases/tag/v0.22-betaHere is the latest beta version that includes 1 fix. The other user interface ideas will be more difficult to change, but are possible. The test issue on the Paper Wallet sweep can be changed for English, but I can't change the other languages without help. On my device the exchange rates were visible (but I can add a backup exchange to get the UNO price, this has helped in the past). On my device, the transaction fee does show up, but I did have to change it to 6 decimals on the Settings. I changed the default be UNO instead of mUNO for displaying the amounts. I will change it to kg UNO later. If you value this wallet please consider helping to beta-test (I'm occupied at the moment and likely to miss finer points). Based on where it is today I would assume it will hit the Google Play Store soon. Hash should be watching this thread, feedback is welcome here, PM to Hash, or on the HashEngineering thread.
Perfect, thank you. Will test tomorrow afternoon and provide feedback. Ta! Device: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 4G (Model SM-N9007) Android Version: 4.4.2 Baseband Version: N9007DIUDNK1 Kernel Version: 3.4.0-3408217 (Thu Jan 8 17:24:09 KST 2015) Downloaded file: unobtanium-wallet-0.21.apk ( github location) -- Installation required allowing unknown sources, as expected. Installation successful. Indeed, if you want to send coins, this is the window you see below. Pretend you want to send me some coins right now and this is what's in front of you: My confusion/questions as an experienced UNO user: How do I access my address book? What's my current wallet balance? Why are there two text fields here? Once I type a number into the first field, what do I do? Press Enter on my keyboard? Select the second field? Taking a guess, I entered the amount I wanted to send (which was 10.00 mUNO, only because I knew how much that was from when I sent myself 0.01kg earlier) and pressed Send. I didn't know how much was in my wallet, what the Tx fee might be or if I'd even have enough. There was no summary screen, I just had to guess. Not ideal. SUGGESTION: I was actually trying to send coins here and I couldn't use the camera because the address failed (see next item) and there was no link to the address book! Placing the dog tags next to the camera button would be a good start. PROBLEM: Importantly, I tried to scan the address of my computer wallet to add as the recipient (both in the Address book and at the SEND COINS screen) and it failed! Tried several physical camera orientations, failed every time:

Downloaded the Android wallet on another device and get no peers and no update of the rockchain.
Any advice?
You can add a trusted peer here: Settings | Settings | Trusted peer I was using the peer list from the source code, but only one was connecting during my development. We will need a list of reliable nodes. The app does not search the network for more peers like the desktop client.

Very interesting. This provides a quicker way that what I do with bitcoinj/bitcoin-wallet.

What about the GoldCoin Wallet for android? The GoldCoin Wallet uses the old Litecoin source code based on Bitcoin Wallet 2.x. It is so far behind that it isn't even funny.

Best ANDROID wallets
(let me know what other coins have one)
TOP RATED
Quark ... the best I've seen. Someone spent time and money making sure it looks good too. Good currency convertor.
Thanks, I am the developer of the Quark Wallet, but I had much help and input from some faithful Quark Enthusiasts about a year ago. I no longer support this wallet. The Dash Wallet is probably my best as it is updated nearly all the way to the current Bitcoin Wallet.

I have successfully installed the wallet. It looks great! I received some $UNO to the wallet and sent some $UNO out of the wallet. Except for the yellow logo, which has already been mentioned, the UI looks great. I also only have one peer connected. I don't know how to add more, or even if that is necessary. Great work! Another arrow in the #UNO quiver! BTW, I have had the Android wallet going for quite some time now; however, I do not show up at all on: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/uno/#!networkI know this because I am in S America and not one wallet is listed here. Does anyone know why that is happening? When I generated an address in the UNO wallet, I got this: bitcoin:ugTV93Tt3gvH1imQppB5kyHqGRC7DeQhNh?label=Donations%20for%20the%20appYes, the desktop wallet should be updated and in the mean time I can add code for the app to accept bitcoin: and unobtanium: for the URI's. The yellow icon was taken from the source code for the desktop client. Where can I get the blue logo? I am not sure if the paper wallet sweep function works, it may not correctly scan a private key QR code.

Yep Hashengineering is the one working on Android he is great by the way. The android wallet has some InstantX support. It can send InstantX transactions (but the app doesn't yet show the transaction as locked after it is locked). It can receive InstantX transactions, but those coins cannot be spent until 6 confirmations. We will be working on upgrading the InstantX support to be like Dash Core in the near future.

Where can we get 0.10? I don't see it on the github or the website.

Rarer and rarer. Hold it if you got it.
any update from cryptapus wrt android wallet? HashEngineering wanted to see a few AUX-POW blocks appear on the chain to verify the unobtaniumj library was functioning correctly. So we are still on hold. Feel free to check out progress on their github account. If anyone is itching for a return of funds please PM me with a signed message from the origin address. Thorough is our middle name. I have no itch. So, I see that we are past block 600,000, but according to my testing there have been no AUX-POW blocks as of about block 600,400. Is anyone merge-mining?

Some nice progress is made with the android wallet i noticed : https://github.com/HashEngineering/darkcoin-wallet/commits/release-4Another topic : Any info on the dirty merge and fix of latest Bitcoin into Dash ? i read some info on it (seems there are some tools that Github provides that let one merge and fix branches of code for compilation), i was just wondering how lenghty such processs is Thanks for the feedback on the Android Wallet updates. Based on the feedback from various users on this forum and dashtalk.org, I am releasing the Version 4.18 Dash Wallet on Google Play. After making sure everything is fine, the wallet will be updated to Bitcoin Wallet 4.27 and then more DarkSend / InstantX and Masternode support will be added. I saw that you've worked on your wallet for myriadcoin. I have created a clone of myriadcoin with different parameters, what you ask me to make the wallet?
I am too busy to take on any new coins, even if it is just a clone of one of my existing wallets. Also, to help clear up my schedule, I no longer update the wallets for Infinitecoin, Megacoin or Quark.

We are nearly ready to release the newer version of the android wallet for Dash that has: ... Let me know your feedback. If it's positive, then I will update Google Play.
Please fix the plural form though. "No Dashs received so far" shouldn't it simply be "No Dash received so far" it's like saying No Cashs received so far... How to get Dashs? should also be fixed. otherwise looks great. Thanks for this. I was going off an older version of the Dash Core which did have "Dashs" as the plural of Dash. Dash Core was updated to be "Dash" as the plural.

What can be done to revive this coin from a technology perspective?
There is probably much that could be done. What kind of features do people want? Do other coins have those features that we could join up with them instead? IFC was an interesting coin because within 2 years its block reward dropped off to near zero and in the process we can see what happened to it.
