There seems to be a lot of hype over Chile because of their destruction of Mexico in the 7-0 win. Colombia has many world class players and is going to give Chile a run for their money imo. I predict the regular time score will end in a 1-1 draw with the winner being decided most likely by a shootout.
62  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still have time to reach the 21 BTC goal? on: June 22, 2016, 11:38:10 PM
As quoted by few other users, gambling is the only hope to earn such a big volume of bitcoin with the halving approaching near.

Gambling is probably a good way to lose your stash of coins unless you get super lucky. Buying low and selling higher is a slower but more methodical method to increasing your BTC stash. 21 BTC is a lofty goal though.

What a great match between Croatia and Spain never expected that Croatie will win this match. Spain isn't that strong  anymore as few years earlier. Maybe Croatia will surprise us in the next round again.

Ever since their successful World Cup, Spain has been on the decline. Croatia has been a fairly underrated team even with world class players like Luka Modric.  It was an excellent transition goal for them and changed the entire standings for the group. There are going to be many strong teams going against each other in the Round of 16.
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simple NBA Finals Betting on: June 21, 2016, 01:08:14 AM
The people have put there money on the Cavs sure made allot of money back because the Golden Sate Warriors where clearly the favorite to win this series.
The GSW were jusrt one game away from winning a back to back title.

Well, their historic season included the first team in the Finals to lose after leading 3-1 in the series and having the most number of wins total season+playoff (73 + 15) to never win a title.
Yeah the team who has set a new record for the most wins in a season has also set that record as well. I did not think that it was possible but the Cavs have pulled it of.
I actually believe that if Green was not suspended for game 5 that the GWS would have won the series ion 5 because they had the momentum at that point.

The suspension played a massive role in the Cavaliers winning the finals. It basically gave a Warriors home game advantage to the Cavs. How was Green suspended by Lebron gets a technical after the game and Green is assessed a flagrant. Definitely a turning point in the series.

Either way it's over now. Congratulations to the Cleveland fans. Warriors will be back next year with hopefully a fire lit underneath them.

US has not looked as great as the public is backing them. Ecuador has been solid this tournament and is my choice to advance to the next round. 2-1 result.

I think I won't bet on tonight's last match, especially after my Ukraine disaster Undecided... Except if someone has a magical bet...

There isn't any magical bet, you can always loose, but seems safe betting on Germany win against Poland.

Why is that a safe bet? Odds have been dropping on Germany a bit even though the Public is favoring them. Could be a close match between these teams. The most likely result is a draw imo.

Ireland is great team finished won with 2 goals
the next match Germany vs Poland, Bet over 2.5 goals it is easy for Germany to win in this match.

They were a pretty decent underdog and ended up winning highhandedly.  I'm liking the over for the next match as well. Poland has a great striker in Lewandowski and Germany also has numerous offensive threats. Will depend how well the defensive lines hold up.

73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GSW vs CAVS on: June 15, 2016, 08:05:45 AM
CAVS won earlier. There will be game 6. Its hard to predict this time which team will win.
Why hard for you? Of course the cavaliers will win in game 6, they handle the warriors at their homecourt and this is their last chance to even the series so they will do all the effort here to win in the game.

I agree. And the warriors will not like to celebrate championship on the opponent's court.  Cheesy

I don't believe that professional players will purposely throw a game just to win at their home court. Warriors will win for Game 6 as people are underestimating them just because of a few losses. With Green back, Warriors have a great chance to win at the Cleveland.
The home court advantage has been huge in this series, so if you are thinking that the warriors will end the cavaliers in their home court, that is not possible because this is a do or die game, cavaliers will not allow that to happen and they will go aggressive from the start of the game til finish.

The Warriors have already beat the Cavs on their home court. Every game for them has been do or die since being down 3-1. That is going to be draining on them. The return of Green will bolster GSW defense and help with offense as well. Warriors will end it on Cavs home floor.
74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copa america 2016 dicussion on: June 15, 2016, 06:23:25 AM
What i love in Copa America is the matches always have a high chance to have many goals, not like Euro 2016, it's hard for a match to get over 2.5 goals.

Almost 80% of the matches in Euro have ended under 2.5. They play extremely defensively compared to South American teams.

Argentina completely dominated Bolivia. They didn't need any points to advance and at most a draw to be at the top of their group. Didn't seem to matter evident by their 3-0 victory. Argentina has a good chance of winning this tourney. They are in great form.
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: After halving, what will be the price of Bitcoin in your opinion? on: June 15, 2016, 06:19:33 AM
The euphoria of the halving will see the Bitcoin price go up surpassing the $1000 level and probably will reach as high as $1500 before a correction comes in due to people selling part of their stash to earn some bucks. Things that go up need to come down at some point in the future and this will happen to Bitcoin as well but as for the new minimum threshold I think it will be around $600. That is around 50% more than the last one and at best you could see a new low of $800 but I wouldn't hold my breath for that.

A new all time high for Bitcoin would really be something. $1500 is very optimistic.

My prediction is that the price of Bitcoin will keep increasing until right before the halving and then drop pretty rapidly afterwards and settling around $500. Would love to see BTC go over $1k again though.
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016 NBA Finals on: June 15, 2016, 06:14:14 AM
With the momentum suddenly going back to the Cavs and Game 6 to be played at home, we could see the series extended until Game 7. For people to really believe in Believeland, players whose name is not Lebron or Kyrie has to step up. They should consider this game as the last games of their careers. Game 6 could define the careers of some of the Cavs players like K.Love, J.R. Smith, and even Channing Frye. Players must come out with their guns ablazing and do not give the Warriors a fighting chance at the get go.

The "momentum" hasn't really been a factor this series. That's a reason public has been getting destroyed by betting odds. Game 5 should have been the game of their lives. That would mean they have to make Game 6 and 7 the game of their lives too. That's not going to happen. Warriors are going to get Draymond back and will defend better for next game. They will end it in 6.

There are a few bets I'm looking at for today's matches:

In Panama/Chile, Panama is missing a few key players and Chile looks much better on paper. They can really control the tempo of the game too when they are passing well. For this match I like the Chile -1.5. Good value on Chile winning by at least 2 goals. This means I also will play the Over 2.5.

For the later match between Argentina and Bolivia, Argentina has already qualified and will advance to the next round regardless of this game result. They may rest key players to avoid injury or might play more defensively. This is why I'm playing the Bolivia +1.5 line and the Under 3. If Argentina wins, I feel it will be by a 1 goal margin. Don't think Argentina will destroy Bolivia like they did Panama.
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 14, 2016, 11:17:00 PM
Big underdog wins today in Euro competition. +500 ML for Hungary and +800 Draw value for the Portugal/Iceland match. Portugal had 21 more shots on goal and 300 more completed passes. Hard to believe that they couldn't get past Iceland.

There was a lot of hype for the Hungary/Austria match with Austria deemed favorites but it didn't look like it during the match. Don't think I will back Austria again but I do like Hungary to make a dark horse run and advance in their group.
