1041  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 5 Dice Sites on: March 25, 2015, 06:23:43 AM
I don't dice often but when I do I play at coinichiwa cause of the simple, fast design
1042  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding Gold at BitReserve, yes or no ? on: March 25, 2015, 03:11:13 AM
Gold isn't something which should be bought and sold online.
Gold is physical.

Agreed. If you aren't holding the actual gold, you don't really own it. Bit risky for my taste.
1043  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beware of LocalBitcoins.com on: March 25, 2015, 03:07:43 AM
I was arrested for trading Bitcoins, on Localbitcoins.com, in Colorado.

So far defending myself has cost our family almost $200,000

We can use all the help we can get, please see the fundraising web site put up by my wife Jean:

http://www.burtw.com

Wow that as an astronomical sum..

Why were you targeted by the authorities? Was it the sheer amount of Bitcoins you were trading? Or just unlucky?
1044  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is another payment that is similar to vanilla reload? on: March 25, 2015, 03:03:49 AM
Reloadit and Netspend reload packs are probably the closest to what Vanilla Reload was
1045  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why are some prices on localbitcoins.com more than exchanges? on: March 25, 2015, 03:02:43 AM
The seller is offering prices to meet demands. There is usually a premium/mark-up depending on the risk the seller is taking. Higher risk payment methods will have higher premiums to negate losses.
1046  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMER not Play in chainroll.com on: March 25, 2015, 03:00:37 AM
I haven't heard of that site before.

Do they have an announcement/discussion thread in the Gambling section?
1047  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there a way to earn 50$ in a month from faucets ? on: March 25, 2015, 02:58:01 AM
Don't make me laugh. If you can earn $5 per month then consider yourself lucky  Grin

This is the truth. Getting 1000-10000 satoshis for a faucet is a lot and that doesn't equal a few pennies.

Doing ANY kind of work would be 100x more profitable
1048  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Dark Markets are selling Worthless junk on: March 25, 2015, 02:55:20 AM

1049  Economy / Marketplace / Re: People lending no collateral? on: March 25, 2015, 02:54:03 AM
Loaning without collateral is a big mistake. I understand a loan between friends but don't ever consider loaning a gambler. You will hear 1000 excuses before you ever see your coin back. Loaning is -EV.
1050  Economy / Gambling / Re: 2015 NCAA March Madness Discussion on: March 25, 2015, 01:42:44 AM
I think Louisville wins outright versus UNI tonight. Pitino too much experience in post season for UNI. That being said I'm playing safe and taking the points...

Good call. Louisville looked much better than UNI.

Anyone calling any upsets in the next round? I like Arizona to win their division.

For some reason I don't think Kentucky will make it out
1051  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Marcchernandez scammer is back! on: March 25, 2015, 01:39:47 AM
LOL this guy is still at it

I don't understand how. No one that he scammed has contacted police in his area? The police won't do anything? I thought check fraud was a serious felony.
1052  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New Snowden Documents Expose Canada’s Hidden Cyber Warfare Strength on: March 25, 2015, 01:38:43 AM
They know they won't ever be able to keep up militarily offensively/defensively through traditional hardware. Not a bad idea to advance on the cyber frontier. Brand new and the effects can be crippling as was seen in Iran.
1053  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Senator Ted Cruz to announce presidential bid Monday 3-23-15 on: March 25, 2015, 01:37:04 AM
I suppose others have seen this on reddit:

Ted Cruz says satellite data show the globe isn’t warming. This satellite scientist feels otherwise

1054  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: March 25, 2015, 01:35:02 AM
The only reason a good would use BTC is to whore with them.

*A girl?

And not sure if you're trying to be funny or not but not amused.
1055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you support International Bitcoin Day? on: March 25, 2015, 01:33:19 AM
Of course it would be supported.

There needs to be a designated day where we can support and raise awareness for Bitcoin.
1056  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: March 25, 2015, 01:15:34 AM
...if the price crashed to zero and there was no conceivable way to use them for gambling  Tongue
1057  Economy / Gambling / Re: Negative house edge on: March 25, 2015, 01:12:25 AM
Negative house edge is very risky for a casino, at least if it's done for all players. It means an unlimited giveaway, even if the time and bet size are limited, because too many people (and multi-accounters, and bots!) can go there and do too many bets, and as a result losses of a casino may be unpredictable. For casino it's much better to give fixed bonuses or limit the number of participants of a promotion, then it won't be so risky for a casino.

Depending how high they give player advantage than yes it could be risky. Having a promotional period for it would be a good idea though imo. A good way to attract new customers to your casino. Especially something like dice sites which already saturate the Bitcoin gambling market.
1058  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [Selling] Target GiftCards - 65% [ BTC ] on: March 24, 2015, 06:19:17 AM
I'd be willing to bet anything this guy is a scammer. Don't send him any coin first.
1059  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB $1440 BTC with Xoom.com paying 5-10% in fees on: March 24, 2015, 06:02:04 AM
Cursory Google search shows a lot of problems with this Xoom service.

High amount of $ and a new account.

Use caution if trading with this individual.
Huh I'll be using escrow and BTC released only when cash is picked up/ deposited to bank account. I don't see what the problem is here?

If an agreement like that is reached, sure. I'm just giving caution to new traders.
1060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My life is fucked! Bought 5 BTC and lost all! God punish me. on: March 24, 2015, 06:00:56 AM
Any update from the OP?

Obviously OP won't login and make a update again, so why are you bumping this dead thread up?

There's a chance he could check back for Bitcoin related news.

Otherwise, it can serve as a reminder to always gamble with what you can afford to lose.
