There's definitely a correlation but I think it depends largely on what the reason for the crash is. For example if there was an overarching government policy on cryptos/blockchain then yes it is likely that all coins will be affected. However if it were BTC specific then maybe not (although there will be knee-jerk reactions)

Right now the price seems a little high, and I have heard that some communities, in particular the Chinese and Japanese, do not really favor it.

Call me skeptical but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to do that. If you so decide to, I wish you all the best!

I like Stellar (XLM) because it has a very clear roadplan and the technology has already gained traction, with ICOs / projects being built on it.

I would say ETH along with XLM and NEO (both of which I feel can be extremely applicable and valuable in future)

Thanks for flagging this, that's just ridiculous - I hope it gets taken down soon before too many fall victim to it.

$70? I would really consider saving up more since transaction fees are going to kill you, unless you are able to avoid them (e.g. piggybacking on a friend's transaction) but even so it is going to be so inconvenient. If you really want to, you can buy whatever you want since there's really no limit to how small an amount you buy of any coin.

Just for altcoins?
I would consider Stellar, Neo, VeChain, Ripple.

I think it really depends on how you define travelling. There are times (increasingly less now) that I go on vacation chasing the "must sees" and I end up feeling exhausted and not being able to appreciate the place and culture as much as I wish. What I really enjoy doing now is to really try to immerse in the local culture, do what the locals do, eat what they eat and try my best to experience what it is like to really "live" there.

1) https://bubbletone.io — Graphene smarcontracts aimed to eliminate mobile roaming fees. The same phone number around the world. Mobile tarification by local prices anywhere. Working prototype, strong team. Dublin, Ireland. 3) https://experty.io/ — the app aimed to monetize expert's time and efforts. More than just marketplace. I like these two, also Gems (gems.org) which is similar to Amazon's mechanical turk. Great team and seems very popular.

Yes you definitely have to exercise some sort of discretion when participating in airdrops. Make 100% sure you do NOT give out your private key under and circumstance.

The limiting factor would be the amount of time you have to wait in between posts

Can a team member give clarity on this?

Binance and bittrex mainly

Wow.. I'm sorry to hear that but please in future be really careful about what you invest in and do your own due diligence.

Officially died? I've read that Litecoin is the fifth largest crypto by market cap with a market valuation of $15.85 billion, behind fourth-place Cardano, with $28 billion.
So did i... it's far from dead

ETH for me, I feel that smart contracts have the potential to be very relevant and useful
|
|
|
Definitely. ETH is the basis for many projects now so I see a huge potential in it.

set aside a portion as cash (most liquid) and whatever you have left in investments (diversify based on liquidity too)
