61  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: February 27, 2014, 02:43:45 PM
Signature size is changed automatically
anybody knows why?
Can we make it large again or this is the defult?
Any advise?

Not much of a reader, are you?
I am back after almost 24+ hrs so within this 24+hrs there are 100+ Posts so i think its more better to ask.

Perhaps the allowed signature styling should change with activity score / membergroup. Like:
- Newbie: No styling (including links) allowed. Max 40 characters.
- Jr. Member: Links allowed. Max 100 characters.
- Member: Unlimited length.
- Full: Color allowed.
- Sr. Member: Size allowed
- Hero: Background color allowed

Then newbies will be less effective advertisers, which would hopefully significantly reduce the incentive for low-content posts. And when people become capable of effectively advertising through their signatures, they'll have invested a lot of time into their accounts, and they won't risk being banned by spamming.

Well one another good explanation on my question...
I was think that I broke something on my signature... or maybe my eyesight broken... Smiley
Few more days and i will get my color back... hehehe....
62  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Forum Activity stuck on: February 27, 2014, 02:35:17 PM
Ok. Thanks for info.

I read this:
"The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Activity is updated every 30 minutes."

here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

It seem that I figured something wrong

time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
You've posted during 8 two-week periods.
Therefore, for you, time=8

You've posted 343 times so far.
Therefore, for you, posts=343

min() returns the lesser of the two values.

time * 14 = 112
posts=343

min(112,343) = 112

Your activity is therefore 112.

After 14 days, time will be 9
9 * 14 = 126

min(126,343) = 126

So after 14 days your "activity" will increase by 14 from 112 to 126.

This will continue once every 14 days (as long as you post at least once during those 14 days), until time * 14 is greater than posts.

Ok. thank you.. this is great explanation...
i didnt know what time is... now it is much clearer... Wink

Well you never can win a house...  1 from 10000 will "win" something.... i try play for few satoshi and i can say nothing... but 5 miss strike on 91%... well probability for that is 1:95848388234728472882426378462387432.... and i have 3 5xstrikes in 2 hours... Smiley

I think there's a problem with your calculation there.

You lose a 91% bet with more than 1 in 10 chance.
So you lose 5 in a row with more than 1 in 100,000 chance.

"in 2 hours" doesn't tell us much when we don't know how fast you're playing.

If you tell me your account number I can give some real statistics and we can see how unlucky you really were.

dooglus do not be mad... Tongue probability that i wrote is to hight, and your "1 in 100,000 chance" its way to low from the right number....

how you see my "Smiley" after my sentence.. it means that I do not blame your site because of my lost... i just blame the fact that I'm addicted to gambling... hehehe...

In one word: i love just-dice...  ...hmmm this is not one word... Smiley

in the matter a fact i wrote about your site on my site... Smiley
http://bitcoinadvice.bugs3.com/btc-and-doge-betting/
and i didnt ask nothing for advertising  Tongue
p.s.
I count on your good heart
hehehehe

My forum Activity stuck on 112 last 30 days. I very often on the forum, and last 7 days i have over 100 posts, but activity is frozen on 112.
I heard from a few people that have the same problem.

Activity only gets updated once every 2 weeks and will increase by a maximum of 14 each time if you've exceeded an average of 1 post per day for more than 14 days.

One answer might be for internet companies to form their own internet provider services; effectively bypassing Verizon, AT&T, and everyone else who lobbied for this.
70  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mexican drug cartels are run by 6 big banks. on: February 27, 2014, 12:58:56 PM
One story after another, no end in sight, decades upon decades of behind the scene deals, murder, rigging of elections, crushing the poor and middle classes, creating a “Hell on Earth” for the average citizen. And it’s everywhere you look not just Mexico. How can it continue, how do we stop it. It’s demoralizing to say the least and the honest men and women, trying to make a positive contribution don’t seem to have much luck, are marginalized or worse. And it’s always the same players, names, that keep popping up, time after time, generation after generation.

Can Coinbase be hacked if you use 2 factor Authentication, email address associated Gmail with 2 factor ID with SMS verification. Gmail is my regular account which I log into often.

I log in on my laptop which is fairly secure and smart phone android.

Everything can be hacked... something on the hard way and something on the easy way... it depends about you on what way you'll be hacked...  Smiley

The honalopt and the article will soon be Forwarded to the Relevant Persons

This is my answer:
"Dear Katy MC. staff
whether you’ve heard of freedom of speech???
I have a right to express my opinion and how I said: “This is only few stuff that I noticed in one minute. Well it is on you: do you trust them or dont…”
If you are honest you do not have a reason to be afraid of someone’s negative opinion.
Man or woman who hiding bad intentions, in my humble opinion, will react exactly how you react.
Thanks"

yes.... Now they seems to me even more suspicious

76  Other / Politics & Society / Re: All Wars are Bankers' Wars on: February 26, 2014, 02:54:32 PM
After the revolution, the new United States adopted a radically different economic system in which the government issued its own value-based money, so that private banks like the Bank of England were not siphoning off the wealth of the people through interest-bearing bank notes. But bankers are nothing if not dedicated to their schemes to acquire your wealth, and know full well how easy it is to corrupt a nation's leaders.
77  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Google 'Floating Structures'. Anyone wants to bet what those are? on: February 26, 2014, 02:51:46 PM
Google uses pods as part of the data center footprint. Usually they look more like over sized personal on demand storage units. I would suggest this is a larger version of that footprint. which has been in use for years. Data Centers need tons of cool air, maybe they will used the open water as a resource for cooling. They built a structure in the mountains in New York state, and designed the building to use the ambient temperatures to move the heat our of the dc.
78  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mars One - What do you think? on: February 26, 2014, 02:48:05 PM
Why should we go to Mars?

Why did Columbus travel west? Why did Marco Polo head east? Because it is that pull, that unknown, that prospect of adventure that compels humans to seek new frontiers to explore.

There are a number of reasons to travel to Mars.

The first is the realization of an amazing dream! Sending a manned mission to Mars is a fantastic adventure. Imagine living on another planet, millions of miles from the Earth; looking up into the sky with the knowledge that one of the 'stars' is actually the planet you were born on. Who can even envision the incredible feeling of being the first human in history to step out of the capsule and leave your footprint on the surface of Mars? By this we implore you to not just think of that feeling for the astronaut, but the experience for all those watching back home. Those who observed Neil Armstrong land on the Moon all those years ago still remember every detail – where they were, who they were with and how they felt. This will be our moment, in 2025.

A second reason is good, old-fashioned curiosity. Where did Mars come from? Can it teach us about Earth's history? Is there life on Mars? These are just three of the hundreds of burning questions for scientists all over the world.

Thirdly: progress. You could say that sending people to Mars is 'the next giant leap for mankind'. This mission will jumpstart massive developments in all kinds of areas, a few examples being in recycling, solar energy, food production and the advancement of medical technology.
79  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Ayahuasca Experience - Doorway to hyperspace on: February 26, 2014, 02:44:04 PM
The ayahuasca experience can be separated from shamanism. We can take ayahuasca, for example, in an urban setting and have a very strong experience, one not necessarily connected to the ancestral experience of shamanism. The experience of shamanism is quite close to nature, which actually functions with interfaces of spirits; and someone who takes ayahuasca is not necessarily going to encounter, I don't know, the parrot god who will come talk to him in his dreams or the green mouse who drops by to say hello. He is going to see something else. While someone is having the experience in a shamanic setting, one is going to go through its conceptual system. And you can have very strong shamanic experiences without taking ayahuasca. But it so happens that ayahuasca is a very formidable agent for altering consciousness.
