Some local guy is trying to sell one for $8500. Will these be hard to get? I know they are sold out now.
There is no way it’s worth even half that price. Income has dropped by half in the past few days and will likely go south of $100/day by next week. Yea, its not worth 8500, but that stupid Baikal is selling for 10k wtf... All these miners are way overpriced... have no idea what is going on.  It’s called FOMO. Same reason idiots are bidding up 1080tis to $1200+. Just be patient. Watch the Bitmain twitter feed, and buy them when they go on sale. I’ve gotten 4 miners that way, I refuse to pay insane eBay prices. |

Morons keep paying over $1100 for 1080ti cards...
Yet the superior and faster TitanXP collector edition cards are available from nvidia.com for $1130. Go figure.

Its reading 5.9A at 240v at the wall, so 1416w with an APW3++ power supply. Its also mining a little faster than usual at 835GH, so that may be why its high. At 120v, it would be pulling 12A..so better have a dedicated circuit for it! I'm using 3 power supplies to power a A3 using 120v power. The miner takes almost 1500 watts using a watt meter.

What is the real truth? I am in the same problem too. 120v and planning to use 2 power supplies. |

Same here. Siamining is the only one working. Not good, since they have over 51% hashrate. They also have a high 3% fee... Luxor, miningpoolhub, nicehash, etc all need to step up their game. Hi, could anybody enlighten me if there is a working nicehash blake2b pool? It's not on the stratum list, tough in WTM its listed.
On NiceHash the blake2b is listed as Sia, since its the only coin minable with blake2b. But i havent been able to get NiceHash to work for me.... I cant get it to work. I got Mining pool hub to work for a bit, then it stops, ie like 1 minute... Funny how there is so little places to use this paper weight.. :-) Still can't get it working.... ugh. siamining is the only one working for me. |

Hi guys, Ewbf,Dstm & Bminer are the 3 equihash (ZEC, ZCL, & BTG) miners for CUDA GPUs. There is no systematic comparison between these 3 miners to figure out which one is the fastest, so I did it. Here is my conclusion: Bminer is the fastest miner and Bminer is also very stable. I will explain my experimental results in detail. FAQ****What is equihash? You can visit whattomine and make a simple calculation by tick your GPU and the device number you had to figure out the most profitable coins you can mine, and it will show you a list that the most profitable coins you can mine on 1080ti/1070 are ZCL(zclassical) ,Zen, BTG and Zcash(Zec). ****What Can I mine with Equihash NVIDIA miners such as Ewbf，dstm & bminer? Equihash miners can not only be used to mine Zcash but also zcl(zclassical),zen, and BTG; you can switch the coins you want to mine anytime. My experimental setupI tested three miners on my personal mining rigs in Ubuntu 16.04. Each rig contains one NVIDIA 1080ti GPU and five NVIDIA MSI 1070 GPUs. I tested ewbf with both normal and -fee 0 options. I see no difference in the hashrate. I cannot tell whether ewbf still collects fees with -fee 0 or not, but at least you do not benefit from using -fee 0 in ewbf. 2% devfee is pretty high. Unfortunately, it seems we have no open source alternative for Equihash that is even close to bminer and dstm. About stability: I did not observe any crash from bminer and ewbf during my experiments. For dstm, during my first attempt, it crashed on one of my rigs after running for 4 hours. I had to restart the experiments on dstm again for collecting its data. So for me, bminer is more stable than dstm. |

Huh..and here I have 3 R9 290 reference cards and a pair of RX280s rotting away in their little static bags. I replaced them with 1080TI long ago..are you saying they're still worth anything for mining? I think last I remember the 290s were getting around 30mh eth, and 375sols zcash? but sucking up like 350w. Haven't looked at them recently though...I switched my rig from old AMD to new Nvidia. Any suggestions on what to mine on em? You guys are all doing it wrong.

You should just get an 7970/280X from Craigslist for like $150 and make $2.5/day
In days like these all the legacy gpus like the Pitcairns and Tahiti's make the most sense.
I can't remember the last time I saw a 280x or 79xx ANYTHING on Craigslist. Definitely months, but more likely a year possibly 2. Ditto R9 ANYTHING except for one listing for a WAY EXPENSIVE R9 290x at something like $600 a couple months back, and a listing for a pair of R9 290 (not x) around a year back in the $350 each range but I was never able to get in contact with THAT seller. |

What's your wattage pulling on those guys? Are you running 100%? Someone should runs some tests around 70% power limit and report back for equihash and skein. I've been debating pulling the trigger on a pair of these since they were below $1200 msrp, but tax brings them right back up to $1200/each. I still find myself wanting to seal the deal but need some convincing, that adds quite a lot to the ROI at $4-6/day.
Why on earth would I cripple them with 70% power? I'm at 120% power, +120 core, +500 mem each. I posted a whole slew of benchmarks a few pages back (although those were at +100 core). Depends on the algo, pulling about 280w each right now on Phi. I've seen it as high as 308w |

One more major issue. It won't run at all with Titan XP cards. My 1080ti rig works fine, but TitanXP just ends the program. The original HSRminer had a similar issue. No idea why, TitanXP=fully enabled 1080TI (with 12gb vs 11 and no crippled SM). Anyone know how to get this working with Awesome miner? what is the API compatible with?
Choose ccminer Api, I'll add info to the 1st msg. I tried using this but it starts and crashes before connecting anywhere. I'm using same launch options as for hsrminer so that couldn't be the problem?
No difference using -b 0 or not.
Any idea what might be the problem? I didn't try the earlier version as I couldn't find it. Thanks,
Can you please provide full cmd line you are using (just remove wallet/pass)? It can be some bug during options parsing, I will try to reproduce it on my rig. Tried on a few of my rigs. Worked fine on one with 8x EVGA 1070 FTW showing ~10% better rates compared to KlausT 8.19.
Crashing quietly on the rest of the machines and throwing access violation exception in event log. No root cause yet.
Will try it with Awesome Miner now...
Awesome Miner works fine with my fork, I just need to tune "threads" and "hwinfo" commands some more, so they will show fan rpm. As for crashes, can you provide more info? OS version you are using? Any AV, like Windows Defender? My AV randomly (sometimes at start with option like --help, sometimes only when I actually try to connect to pool with -o) blocks access to file as it do with original hsrminer, because AV detects it as "bitcoin miner", so I have to add folder with miner to exception list. yup, same issue here. the miner crashes silently right after showing logo.

HSRMiner in general seems to be broken on Titan XP as well as Titan X pascal. No idea why..Titan XP=1080ti with 1GB more memory, and fully enabled G102 proc. The miner doesn't like my Titan X pascal at all, even at stock clocks. I get the following: NemosMinerv2.3 Wrapper Started

The only differences between these cards and the "standard" Titan Xp are:
1) fancy lighting.
2) They're AVAILABLE right now where nothing else is in stock in Nvidia's web store.
That's IT.
I heard the 1080ti were faster You heard wrong. I have both TitanXPs and top of the line 1080tis (EVGA FTW3). The Titan is 2-10% faster in everything except Neoscrypt, and even then, only because hsrminer isn't working yet. |

Wow, I have to say, this is impressive. I was pessimistic about earnings. I know the difficulty will increase and profitibility will go down. BUt at this rate it really will be earning around $500 per day.
I just need a single straight week of that to be happy. After that, its all gravy  |

Any word on when Granatgaspool support will get fixed? Alternatively, if there is a way to add my own managed profit pool besides the usual zpool, ahashpool,etc, I'd love to know about! I have Premium edition if that helps..

Would be happy to switch to this from ccminer, but needs Awesome miner support, and TitanXP support. Right now, won't even run on Titan XP for some reason, even though its basically a 1080TI with an extra SM

Took me 5 minutes to add M7M support, following simple directions on this thread, posted many times for Phi and other coins. Of course, M7M has poor ROI right now, so it was a bit of a waste Hi there,

That coin uses the M7M algo which is not built in AM currently. You would need to setup the algo, the coin, upload your custom mining software to your rigs, then setup the pool, and finally point your rigs to everything you just setup. AM should have M7M algo built in, hundreds of people that paid for AM will benefit from having the possibility to mine more coins and algos that are missing now. |
