61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sergey Nazarov has created a monster & it is dragging all of crypto down with it on: August 19, 2020, 04:43:26 PM
"Dragging all of crypto down with it" its just applicable to those who are to an extent no acquainted with the modus opernadi of the system. For a trader, the stablecoin or USDT fiat is his best friend. Only traders in open positions and also in opposite direction of the market can be victims of being dragged down.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of the top 30 most searched assets last week on: August 15, 2020, 02:03:34 PM
If there will exist a thread that will give us update on a daily basis that will give top searched assets it will be great. I have need and I believe other people here have need for those data as it has a way on contributing to the trading analysis we draw before involving ina trade.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Curve DAO Token] Be careful with this project lost ~0.17BTC ~ $2000 trading it. on: August 15, 2020, 02:00:33 PM
Analysing from the coinmarketcap.com website, the coin is havig a otal of 1.3 billion tokens in total supply but just below a half a million in circulating supply. That informs me on the need for the price appreciation and also scarcity of the coin is a factor. My suggestion is that the deflation in price of the coin must have come from a new and people did not get that information on time and that is dangerous enough
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin so unstable? on: August 13, 2020, 05:52:31 PM
Bitcoin was designed to have its price regulated by market forces adn not peged to any particular fiat or commodity. It is therefore at the mercy of traders to regulate the price and therefore expose it to volatile market forces. It will remain volatile thereby keeping the price unstable for a very long period of time and also proving to be a worthy investment for traders.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Importance of Bitcoin during the Pandemic on: August 13, 2020, 05:50:30 PM
Beyond working to earn bitcoin, the health benefits of the digital currency during the lockdwon and covid-19 era has shown that transmission of the disease can be done via cash handling. the use of bitcoin therefore reduces the cash handling process and further reduces the possibility of a spread amongst peer-to-peer transactions.
66  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader made 89% profit in minutes. Have anyone experienced it..? on: August 13, 2020, 05:48:30 PM
Most traders show a great deal of respect for trading business as it has proven to be not just a business but a profession. Loads of people have fired their bosses to this effect and the reason is that they have a more profitable business coming from the trading skill. Traders make more than 100 percent in cases of pump in minutes and even more.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Despite Many Participants, You Can Still Get Huge Rewards In Bounty. on: August 13, 2020, 05:45:56 PM
The assurance of getting paid in bounty this time is really uncertain as loads of projects just come and go and they don't even act like they owe people anything including investors, how much more bounty hunters. But if they for any reason get to pay bounty hunters and they are a few then its going to be much as they few people get to share from the pool
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do hackers steal huge amounts of bitcoins? on: August 12, 2020, 01:32:28 PM
I was reading about Cashaa, that was hacked and 336BTC were stolen. But the hacker can't move them right? He will leave footprints. So why should hackers steal them since they can be found? For example if they want to convert them to fiat.

The only way I think you could get by from this felony is to keep them on very long term. So long that it may be forgotten. But still, it may.

Even in the long run it still will be kept under close survillance as it is known to be a stolen fund. How will 336 btc be forgotten even in  a long run, the long run might even increase the price of the btc thereby increasing the demand and price..
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Ethereum transaction has been pending for over a month on: August 12, 2020, 01:30:43 PM
I tried to send an Ethereum transaction using https://www.myetherwallet.com/ over 40 days ago. I used a very low fee and seems it was not nearly enough. The transaction is now stuck and says pending. It doesnt look like it will be dropped and I am not sure what to do.

I tried to speed it up by adding more gas through Metamask but every time I do that I get an error in MEW and it fails. I read somewhere that I need to spend the same nonce with more gas for the transaction to be confirmed. I have no idea how to do that. Can someone help?

Has anyone faced similar issues wit stuck Eth transactions that couldnt be spent and how do I solve this?
What is going on with the fees and why is an ETH transaction more expensive than a Bitcoin transaction?

it looks like that is the standard these days . loads of people have transaction fees at the peak so they tend to manually reduce the gwei and it results to longer transaction periods as miners tend to mine transactions that are much more in gas fees than the regular or reduced gas fee.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Stable coin is the Best for Investment This Year on: August 12, 2020, 01:29:01 PM
Firstly, Investment is any financial commitment that guarantees a proftiable return on investment. I do not see how stablecoins that are peged to specific a fiat would  acts as an investment.I know that stablecoins canbe tied to certain assets too but its depending on those assets to increase in value against a stablecoin and not the stablecoin itself.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: August 11, 2020, 06:04:30 PM
The number of scams recorded here in the bitcoin  space and blockchain in entirety has now become too mucha and loads of people are currently feeling uncomfortable with the system. it is enough to battle with but no, bounty came in with its owns erial verson and scared both those who decided to use the bounty as a source of livelyhood. it should be attended to
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Think before joining any campaign on: August 11, 2020, 05:41:51 PM
I do not really knowyour research dept and how you looked into Uniswap but I am sure you know it has to be imported as it is a DEX token and people has to presend liquidity for transactions to take place. i do not know what exactly made you assume but if it is right then thanks for the research
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Staking Is The Next Step In Crypto on: August 11, 2020, 05:39:23 PM
The idea of staking in crypto will solve problems the transcends the crypto technology. PoW has created another challenge associated with power as mining of PoW coins has to do with consumption of electricity and that poses a bi glife problem but PoS has solved that and its a good one.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are buying when the price is going up and not when it is down on: August 11, 2020, 04:28:45 PM
I notice that when there the price is going up so many people are joining the train and they also buy because the price is going up and they are going to make a profit, why people are not buying when it is down when the price will eventually go up and they can make a lot of profit.  Huh

People just believe that the pump in the price of bitcoin and other alternative coins will get to a new All-Time-High. Often times they don't do any form of analysis before taking  adive into investing. They allow their emotions rule their sense of judgement and it finanlly leaves them making a whole lot of mistake and loosing funds.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new drama has started in Altcoin on: August 08, 2020, 09:16:56 AM
It is already a known fact that the crypto space is a volatile world. Everyone trading in the space is fully aware of it and prepared even before venturing into it. I advice that you always make provision for contingency and know when to pullout of the market in cases where there are unspeculated movement so as to minimise losses.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: August 07, 2020, 10:46:03 AM
I'm usually a holder I still coins and tokens I've got from Bounty campaign just like the two of the just recent projects I've participated in I'm still holding both of them but there are instances in the past that I dump my coins/tokens  because
The coin is not progressing and I want to buy coins that has more potential.

So what is or are your reason why you are dumping your coin?

I used to be a holder of coins but i got the bad feeling about holding a coin that devalued from four thousand dollar to five dollar. I saw the need to sell off projects whose tokens i have. As the saying goes "crypto currecy is a bubble". i do not wish to be on that side of the bubble again, therefore, I sell off what I have and run away, I can come back if it dips briefly but after payment i sell off.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO increasing rapidly on: August 07, 2020, 10:37:46 AM
I think ICO started to increase day after day and people started to trust it,The future will goes to ICO, maybe because the low price or the new features which it provides.

So ICOs were marred by the defeciency caused by different projects and also the incompetency of the team members and also the bridge in communication between the project marketing team and the community of supporters and also the scam projects that shutdowwn their platforms without refunding investors money and also the challenges encountered by projects in their vairous regions and government and enlistments. These contributively saw the ddemise of ICOs and the ushering in of IEO,STO anf the others.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia’s Biggest Bank Considers Launching Its Own Stablecoin on: August 07, 2020, 10:32:09 AM
Russia has since taken key positions in the tech space and blockchain in particular. Most startup in 2017 through 2019 were from Russia, Although, nobody said anything about the government opposing the tech just like India did and is about to repeat but then, their quietness gave the startups from Russia the edge of working within the space and then making it official to startup a Stablecoin as a Bank can only make it better as regulatory agencies have to give approval which is also approving of the tech officially.

80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4 US Congressman wrote to IRS to ease tax on POS rewards on: August 06, 2020, 05:46:17 PM
it is interesting for congressmen to deem it interesting for the IRS to ease tax on POS  rewards. loads of people are using alternative ways of transacting without the of intereferrence of government authorities. If they do not consider reducing tax and also reduccing hidden charges in transactiosn, the masses will have to resort to using alternative financial mediums where they will not be charged much aside fees on transactions alone.
