New projects comes in different forms and they can pass your every strict tests in finding out if they are scam or not, there is no 100% guaranteed on any new projects even if you do deep research on them, they are that sneaky
Well, somehow new projects are still scams and cost a lot of people money even though they've done a lot of research. Be really careful with new projects because they are never safe The problem is there were still hunters who promoting the scam projects like ibid. There are so many awareness threads about ibid but those hunters are still promoting it. I think that this is also the critical point that will make the scam project still exists. Those hunters must be stopped

Even from my previous experience, new projects make a great start and once done they are not like a scam. After a few months, they disappeared and left the project. That's why it's hard to tell the difference between a scam and a legitimate one.

You should differ between a scam and a project that dies, but honestly refund its investors. We invest only our time, but if you spend tens of hours and then you receive nothing, it is annonying and when you experience with it more than once, then you loose your patience and stop doing bounty campaigns, so you loose all the potential profit from bounty campaigns .

Not all dead projects are scam, there are some reasons why projects died without scamming their investors, lack of funds, lack of team capacity and others can bring early death to any crypto project

The number of scams recorded here in the bitcoin space and blockchain in entirety has now become too mucha and loads of people are currently feeling uncomfortable with the system. it is enough to battle with but no, bounty came in with its owns erial verson and scared both those who decided to use the bounty as a source of livelyhood. it should be attended to

yes some of the points above are the characteristics of the Scams bounty, and the irregularities I encountered when cornering several questions about the project on the telegram channel and BM / Team did not respond to me, trying to do VC directly with TEAM not ACC, then I started to doubt when I find out about inexperienced developer and bad team reputation never even managed a bounty project before.

How do you plan to stop scam bounties? Only cheap built scam projects that get exposed with your strategy, you need more than luck to escape some scam projects, even well developed projects can turn scam

When a project decide to pay in BTC or ETH, it is certain that project is a serious one. Because there is no way they can dump their shit coin on the bounty hunters and the Bounty manager. Which is why the most sort after and reliable bounty managers are those that pay in BTC or ETH.

The bounty scam can only be stopped with the utmost care because it is difficult to distinguish a good bounty from a scam they are very neatly arranged if we are careful before joining it will avoid the bounty scam

Scammers are great doing their job very well. It's hard to identify and you really needs to do deeper reviews and studies in order to avoid being victimized by this people. Risky but the only protections that you can do is to keep your DYOR each time you plan to participate.

When people aware about that and they must not join on such bounty and I think that will make the scam bounty will have no participants and then it will die. There are also hunters who need to be educated as some people keep join in the scam bounty

When it comes to bounties you are always on your own, finding good bounty manager is like finding a mid man who can fight for your reward if team failed to do the right thing, still not a bad idea but bounty managers aren't always trustworthy too, bounties is a risk side job that's only good for those who don't care much about disappointments

The way to make the participants aware if that was a scam bounty and they will not try to join or participate in such bounty. That will need a lot of proofs to do that but the scam bounties will always come from the scam project too.

I have seen alot of bounties having the same criteria that you stated in your post. Take a note that not all the informations that you have wrote are indicators of scamming or of a bounty that is going to be a failure but i ccan't say that you are wrong too. Just try to focus more in the quality of the bounties that you join, try to check whether the developers have put an effort in their website development..etc.

I have experienced that no matter how much time and analyses you put into a new project to be satisfied with all its aspects still you can get scammed, so you never know what is on the mind of the people behind a project. Prime examples are Athero and Envion that were massive projects but they scammed or failed and bounty hunters got absolutely nothing not even distribution.

One thing is, there are some bounties with all this to run away from features, that still do better after a while. I have judged some bounties based on some of op listed points and they turned out good. Even the selected ones with promising features and team fail. We just have to keep trying. Amongst 10 projects campaigned for.. 4 will definitely worth it.

You are right but I think some or many of the listed items are surely better to guide on the safety to bounty hunters. If we avoid obvious scam project especially those from managers that have been known with scam projects.

I think that we already have a good system on how to detect scams. At first, when the project is introduced on this forum, someone learns the whitepaper and when he realizes something wrong, he posted his concerns here. DT members review it and when they realize the same conclusion, then they mark the thread as a potential scam and give negative trust to the member.
