Hey guys, so i would like to start mining ethereum. Actually i did, but i cant find how to setup my miners better. I was mining x11 before and it was all in the conf file, so my question is - how do you do the fine tuning in the ethereum miner?
I am talking about windows and my cards are 280x and 7950

So what is the best miner for x11 right now and what speeds could one expect?

Hey guys, was away from mining for some time and now coming back.
Can some one please tell me what is a good hashrate nowadays for 280x and 7950 - X11.
Thank you ! Appreciate it !

Hm and what if i do not care for the sound ?
Are there options to put in more " powerful " fans to bring the temperature down ?
|
|

Thanks for the answers, i will try it out then And one more question about the fan, what if i do no care for the sound ( they are in e different place ). With what fans could i replace the stock ones for better cooling ?

Hey guys, i ordered some S5 miners and i got them finally. I have the fallowing question. Since i have a lot of PSU's left from my alt GPU mining rigs i will be using them. But since i had a good offer back in the day, all my PSU's are Corsair 1200w Platinum. Yesterday i tested and at clock 375, one S5 is drawing about 565w of the wall. So my question is, would it be okay to connect 2 S5's to the one Corsair 1200w Platinum PSU ? Thanks ! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=902305.new#new

Things seem to be a bit slow I guess everyone is waiting for something to happen.

Ah and a quick questions. What is the maximal hash rate one can expect with 280x and 7950 for x13 ? Havent mined x13 in a while so i have no idea Sorry if this is a bit offtopic.

Okay that looks interesting. I am jumping on that one Pointed all miners to it and will buy some more when it hits a decent exchange. Waiting to see how marketing will be done. Good luck !

I have about 400k Super I am donating 3% and just increased that to 5% As soon as there is an idea where to promote i will donate another 50k.

|

So what are the best numbers you guys get for x13 on 7950 and 280x ?

Hmmm well that sounds interesting.
I would prefer neoscrypt to be honest...
Will decide if to mine or not closer to 27-th.
Cheers.

So i just got 5 S5's tbh i never had a bitcoin ASIC miner till now, i have been only mining with GPU's ( altcoins ) SO about the S5, after reading this thread i am kinda afraid to even start it If i do not oc the miners, are they safe ? And all here are talking from experience i guess ( they also have S5's ? )
|
|
|
Well maybe its much harder to change/develop a neoscrypt coin. Which is good Still it would be good if some more coins adopt neoscrypt, it will be good for all

I totally agree that it is also the communities job to work on the coin. Sadly right now i do not have as much time as i wish to invest in Super. However i am buying whatever i can and i am telling everyone i know about SUPER.

|
|
Still no new neoscrypt coins ?
