61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another December Bull run on: November 21, 2018, 08:20:36 PM
I have this assumption that we may be having another December bull run, though may not be as high as we had last year. Bitcoin however have maintained a very good support level around $6000 since this year and there is no sign of breaking lower.

Sampling opinions from various investors show that there is this excitement and anticipation of another end of the year bull season and aside TA and FA, the market is equally controlled by the investors psychology and with this whole charade of an expected December bull season, I am of the opinion that it will likely come as a lot of persons are already waiting as we have a large number who are "for" than those "against".

I am not too certain of the reality of this your assumption. We are almost in December and there is already a serious bloodbath going on in the market. Maybe the bull run won't happen this year.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are a legit or Scam? on: November 21, 2018, 08:17:30 PM
Hi Guys,

Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some.
ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?

Thanks in advance.
ICOs are a good crypto investment, while there are many fake ones, a handful of them are still reliable. I can recommend Stem Cells Innovations ICO to you. You can make your own research about it and invest if it suits you.
63  Economy / Marketplace / Re: If Newbie Offers Investment on: November 19, 2018, 08:50:16 PM
what would you do if a newbie said he could develop your money and he asked you to invest money in him ?
I really don't know how much the Newbie already knows that he/she may want my money for investment. He will have to convince me beyond any reasonable doubt that he/she is capable of handling investment.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market is looking all red once again on: November 19, 2018, 08:46:40 PM
I think we have already seen the worst for the year and as such it can only remain this way while we hope for some element of luck for the market to be revived as soon as possible.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin be the same if Satoshi wasn't anonymous? on: November 19, 2018, 08:44:35 PM
How would the crypto arena be different if everyone knew who Satoshi was?
It is best we don't know who Satoshi is. Knowing him might come with its own risk for the crypto world. It means the day Satoshi dies, everyone will be thrown into panic regarding the future of bitcoin.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SOLUTION TO KNOW IF SATOSHI NAKAMOTO IS REALLY DEAD.... on: November 18, 2018, 07:58:10 AM
Everybody can read this post:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5070171

Lets change the time to delete old blocks with no transactions for the number of years we want to know the answer to that question, if real Satoshi was Hal Finney and he is really dead or if it is Craig Wright or someone else, he needs to move the money and we can assist.

Who rules the bitcoin blockchain, is Satoshi?
No, we rule it !
I just read the post on the link. You made some good points. We cannot just fold our hands and watch some coins disappear forever due to death of the owner. The 100 years you proposed may even be too long. As for me, I would propose an inactive wallet of 50 years.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do ethereum compete with bitcoin? on: November 18, 2018, 07:50:56 AM
as if it is in the second place and nearer to the bitcoin then compare to other coins,
maybe in future it may beat bitcoin
I can't even dream of this possibility of Ethereum beating Bitcoin at anytime, not even in 100 years. I am very sure of the solidity of Bitcoin and its forever growth. I can't really say same for Ethereum.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all bounty hunters around the world, you'll need to see this on: November 18, 2018, 07:46:11 AM
Hi, I'm a bounty enthusiast. I need you to answer my simple questions.

1. Do you love crypto?
2. How much is your salary in joining bounty?
3. Do you want to be a bounty manager? Then why you don't do it now and find a new client to be their bounty manager?
4. What if the bounty which you have joined in a long time but the project is not to be compromised a k a scam project?

In response to your first question, if I don't like crypto I wouldn't have been here in the first place, let alone participating in bounties. You should know that been a bounty manager is not an easy task. It requires full time and dedication. I only do bounty on part time bases.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: 10th Birthday, Bitcoin Price Is No Longer Exciting ? on: November 18, 2018, 07:42:31 AM
Yea, it is true. I quite agree with you. People are not really excited or motivated anymore to participate in Bitcoin investment due to the negative trend in the greater part of the year.
70  Economy / Economics / Re: 2018 the year of correction? on: November 18, 2018, 07:37:42 AM
Are you invariably telling us to take the correction of prices as the sole reason for the persistent price slumps throughout the year so far? I think we should at least have a little step up in the prices. The current price situation is too low for the market.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Xmas Bull Run!! on: November 18, 2018, 07:30:56 AM
11 months of decline.. who's ready for some positive headway  Cool

Daddy needs a new pair of shoes!!
It is as if every Christmas period must produce a cryptocurrency market bull run. Then what has delayed the bull this time? Does it mean we are about to see a different trend?
72  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency - future? on: November 17, 2018, 09:04:00 PM
What do you think will happen with the cryptocurrency in the future?
There are very positive signs for cryptocurrency into the future. So many organization and national governments are now much interested in the subject than ever. That means the concept will survive.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who actually invests in ICO's? on: November 16, 2018, 11:20:13 PM
I know that most of todays traders are here just to make a quick buck, they dont care about the project, or the idea behind the project, they just want "PUUUPM" and "MOOOON". And with all the scam ICO's that we had in the past( my personal favorite BitConneeeeect) people have lost faith in ICO's. But still new ICO's and new ideas are being published every day, I've seen on some projects that i'm following that they reached their soft or hardcap, but what triggers my mind is: Who is investing in those ICO's, what is the one thing that lures the todays investors into investing in a certain project?
The ICOs frenzy is over. People hardly invest in ICOs this days. They rather wait for the project to be fully launched and proceed on to buy from the exchanges. That is why the ICOs find it difficult to even reach their softcap.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake ico and bounty on: November 16, 2018, 11:17:43 PM
Pls what are the best way to detect fake ico and fake project... We can't continue working to promote them and later discovered that it is bounch of fake... We really need tools to detect fake ico
There is no known perfect formula for detecting fake ICOs or bounties. What you should do is to use your own discretion and research as much as you can. We have even seen a nice projects being abandoned by the team. So therefore, nothing is guaranteed.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to the Crypto market? on: November 16, 2018, 11:13:32 PM
I see the current crypto market movement is very bad. The price of Bitcoin dropped dramatically. Altcoin also turns red.

We have all seen a downward trend in the past three days which I believe was never expected to be this bad. Even if people were to sell of their holdings due to the bitcoin cash forking, the whole market was not suppose to be this totally red. I think someone else has to give a better explanation for this in case I have missed something here.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP crypto betting (under/over) on: November 16, 2018, 11:10:39 PM
XRP is a shitcoin. I would not invest in anything related to XRP.

Better safe than sorry  Wink
I wonder why you would consider a coin like ripple shit coin. Moreover, I see this as a good thing. XRP being used in bets staking is a way of more adoption of the coin and I expect every crypto lover to welcome the idea. We need practical and real life application of cryptos. Online betting as long as it is genuine is one of them.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I choose on: November 15, 2018, 10:05:43 PM
Hi guys, I just graduated from college and wanted to have a better income but didn't know what to do. I want to find a solution to get around this situation. There are just friends who invite businesses to provide income, and there are also those who invite to invest in cryptocurrencies. If you are in my position and faced with these 2 choices, which one will you choose:
1. Invest in cryptocurrencies
2. Opening a real business

Give me the reason why you choose between the one above

regards
Bro, I recommend you to take cryptocurrency investment. If I may ask, what kind of business do you want to open? You will get far quicker returns from cryptocurrency than that business I believe.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: the future real money on: November 15, 2018, 09:32:06 PM
[bif i see lately there are lots of altcoins popping up, especially in the digital world and whether for the next few years the function of real money itself will be eroded by the presence of virtual payment equipment ...? I had time to think whether in the next few years we would be making virtual money payments ...?[/b]
There could be possibility of real or paper money being wiped out in the near future. The rate at which cryptocurrency is adopted is fast increasing. This might force even the governments to convert their fiats to crypto form.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: What Christine Lagarde's position on digital currencies says about their future on: November 15, 2018, 09:30:10 PM
In a turn of events, the head of the IMF is now advocating that states across the world should consider issuing digital currencies. Let's not forget that at some point, the institution was a bit wary of the rise of crypto-currencies, so... why are they now switching their position?

Please understand the meaning of the statement made by IMF chief. She was advocating countries and states to issue their own virtual currencies. It has nothing to do with cryptocurrency adoption. She is suggesting to adopt the technology of virtual currency and create own VCs. These cuurrencies will be strictly centralized and controlled by the central banks. Nothing for us to cheer!

I think she doesn't want to be explicit in her advocacy for cryptocurrency. If she actually supports countries to create their own digital currencies, I can bet with you that she is probably also giving a positive nod for cryptocurrency adoption. She doesn't want to say it directly due to her postion as the IMF chief.
80  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the market on: November 15, 2018, 09:26:24 PM
Honestly, what do you think will happen with the market? no matter how positive I want to be, I think that lot of people (myself included) were waiting for the bull run to start this month, but we're already at 25 and there's still no movement, I think we should be thankful that btc hasn't continued to drop, but many projections have fallen apart when we're almost entering November and nothing of the bull run, what do you think will happen with the market at the end? we're finally seeing the beginnings of a stabilization? our goal should be mass adoption now that prices are stable?

I am beginning to loose patience on this bull run talks. I think we should just stop dreaming about it. Bull run is not a right that must always happen each year. Let take things as they are now!
