Is it "version" : 40100? Not getting any new code from git pulls.

Woo we should have had our first retarget. But difficulty did not change?!? I'm showing blocks 2073, but difficulty .00024414 -- same as before
Ah, good to know this behavior is average and expected. Looking at people getting 8x my coin output with 1/2 the hardware was a bit discouraging. Luck happens.

So, after 1.5 hours with 2x i7 920s pumping out 12 ghash each, a q9330 at a bit over 10 mhash and some crappy athlon at about 8 mhash, all pointed at the same litecoind I have:
./litecoind getbalance 100.00000000
And about um 20? 30? orphans. Lots of stales too.
Aaand another orphan. About ready to give up and run the windows binaries with wine...
So envious. I think I'm running the lock-you-into-an-orphaned chain client, I updated too quickly.
Sorry guys. I locked in a block that was later orphaned. D'oh! It's too chaotic. I've checked in the fix with the right hash. If you compile from source, please grab latest and recompile. Windows client and daemon coming very soon. Just did a git pull and already up-to-date. Whee? Is commit 9f890ac7cd04ec083f5300a024a63b7a76491142 what we should be running?

Yes for local believe he is talking total network rate that was mentioned.
"networkhashps" : 524288,
Could run that EXE under wine...
Does this explain the massive amount of orphans?
I have managed to mine 3 blocks, but tons of false proof of work.
The 90% stales are only to be expected, but the 70% orphan blocks are worse. 400 LTC, lucky you. I'm like 10% of the current hash power, but getting nothing but stales and orphans. 100 LTC mined though... Where do you see the hashpower? litecoind getinfo
Getting lots of generated blocks but nearly all are orphans. Hoping this improves once we have a retarget and are at about a block every 4 seconds vs a block a second or so...

Sigh. Whenever I get a non-stale it's an orphan. Ah well, maybe after a retarget or two, right? At least total network hash rate is a very respectable 524 khash. Very decent for just out the gate.
That's what I thought. Bummer. Can't catch a break. About 20 boo!! so far across 4 machines. Yeah, a pool would be nice.
coblee, any idea why almost all my proof of work are false? I understand orphan blocks, but what's with all the false proof of work?
Getting orphans just fine even with the patched source.
Stupid forks. I had a few proof of work true (yay!) but no balance. Dammit. { "account" : "", "category" : "orphan", "amount" : 50.00000000, "confirmations" : 0, "txid" : "85f540d50199d5f33e7bd2b0cc126040026ad151d9d9af5cc53d7789d4dffc09", "time" : 1318475403 }, etc etc etc. Guess you gotta have a *really* fast and *really* overclocked machine to make any blocks even early on.
Lots and lots of [2011-10-12 21:14:43] PROOF OF WORK RESULT: false (booooo)
*cry*
Wow, network hash per sec: 349525. We've already blasted past fairbrix! A third of a megahash, still 10% of tenebrix at the height though
Not. 102 blocks out there. Looks like we have a blockchain fork already, got a few false blocks...
